Alert Email of blackBerry Smartphones

For some reason when I get an email there is no dial tone to alert me. I changed my setting on my profile of tones and volume without success.

Hi loans2008

Please make sure that you change the active profile.  Note that you can set different alerts also for different messages so that you can select the messages [the email address you use] to change the alert for this specific e-mail address.

Your other alerts work?

  • Problems of email to blackBerry Smartphones

    I'm unable to access e-mail.

After entering my user and password, it indicates there is a problem and suggest you contact gmail.com.

However, I am in the right username and password (works on other devices very well) and it was working properly before.

    How to remedy?

    Thank you

OK... and what was your result of the search of the public data base KB? I found this... may or may not apply to your situation, but give it a quick glance:

    • Article ID: KB12288 Impossible to integrate or validate a Google Mail with BlackBerry Internet Service account

Otherwise, with a strong support network signal (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • Problem with email notification blackBerry Smartphones

HIII everybody... I use bb9320curve with os 7.1, until a few days back everything worked well, in my opinion if it was my friends or community mailer. Then due to several reasons, I disabled my internet connection for a week, now, even once, I enabled the internet, I received a message that in 20 minutes I start receiving my notifications by e-mail, but nothing happened. I have not received all messages on my phone (but a lot through my Inbox in regular line).  I tried to reboot, perform a hard reboot by removing the battery while on and so far nothing has worked. Then I get notifications only when I receive by email from the community forum of bb not other e-mails that are my friends, I know it sounds crazy, but that's what happens. Can anyone suggest me the solution.

    Hello!!

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Please try to start your BlackBerry in Mode safe and that uninstalling that application, may be that the application is in conflict with your device software.

  • Email to blackBerry Smartphones has stopped working! The problem is NOT solved!

My BB 9780 was working fine a few weeks ago and then stopped my emails.

I have not added any application or change anything

I tried this service book record thing, out of battery, removal of e-mails and trying to set them up again (which doesn't work now) and nothing

    So no idea?

I'm tired of these bugs... I would really like to have a phone that can receive emails, otherwise it will become a big paperweight

SkyScout come back for the 2nd issue since upgrade to the 9000 "BOLD" to a version of impeller 8000 series:

I transferred my CONTACTS and other PARAMETERS of my 8000 series BB successfully using the SOFTWARE of OFFICE of BB.

With the new sounds available, I would like to change the ALERT TONE I had used on my BB 8000 for a new, different on BB 9000.

    How can I do this?

I went in profiles > ADVANCED > NORMAL... where it displays:

    BlackBerry Messenger alert

    New Message from blackBerry Messenger

    Browsers

    Calendar

    Level 1

    etc...

I have modifed the TONES for CASE in and out of the HOLSTER on the first two.

However, the TONES for the arrival of email and SMS remains the same since my 8000 series!

    Help!

Where can I find the TONE changes for my e-mail and SMS?

    DISCOVERY SOLUTION!

Well, I just found the solution myself. FOR FUTURE REFERENCE, I note the following:

In my first post above I wrote:

have been in the School Board Profiles > ADVANCED > NORMAL... where it displays:

    BlackBerry Messenger alert

    New Message from blackBerry Messenger

    Browsers

    Calendar

    Level 1

    etc...

I didn't continue on in the list.

Here's 'Level 1' separate for lines:

    Messages: [[email protected]]

    Messages: [[email protected]]

By selecting each one, then opening them (by clicking the joystick) - a separate menu returns to each of them.  THAT I discovered at the time of my JOY and AMAZEMENT, it's I can create separate TONES for every different email through this!

Nevertheless, I thank those of you who have or hereinafter strives to have helped on this solution!

    Thank you!

  • Email configure blackBerry Smartphones and delete forever business account

    Hello

    I have 12 blackberry 9720.

They have been somehow configured to work as a business smartphone.

Now the company wants to reject the old Blackberry Service Administrator.

I can't set up any kind of e-mail on these phones.

After several resets factory they continue to ask for a business email account.

Is it possible to set up a simple gmail account on them?

Better yet, is it possible to manually set the old account? (I can do this on a samsung or on an iphone).

Whenever I try to configure one of them that I make you to configuration-> email account-> and I can only activate a company account.

I want to just configure emails.

    Hello

    Assuming that you have:

    • The devices removed from BES/DOWN
    • Passed under the carrier on each device BES to BIS account

Then the devices should have ' Personal/Internet' showing on the screen. Note that the company will always show up on this screen, no matter what. But it is only useful for devices in a BES environment. For non - BES, you need a plan BIS of data by the carrier in order to activate the exclusive services of BB (which includes the e-mail handling on these devices inherited from BBOS). And, if the data carrier account does not exist OR if it does not BIS, then the screen will show exactly as you describe, and email does not work on the device.

    Good luck!

  • Incoming emails for blackBerry Smartphones

My Bold 9930 received incoming emails faster they go on my PC (Outlook).  Now, they take almost an hour appears on my smart phone or don't show up at all.  Is a Blackberry server problem or is there a setting on my smartphone, I can change?

If the device is taken and you are on a BES I would contact your administrator of TI. They may have information about what is happening. If you do not change anything on the device, then it is probably not that you can do. I start by contacting Sprint and ask them to make sure that everything works correctly in your area.

  • Issue of email to blackBerry Smartphones

I am a new user of curve and I checked to make sure that this question has not already been posted, but if it was, and I missed it, my apologies! OK, so I have my curve synced up my work and personal e-mail. The problem is whenever I reply to a message that saves a copy on my curve. Is there a way to only get alerts when email is inbound and outbound DO NOT? I don't really need my email address to send my response to my Blackberry. I'm sure it's an easy fix, I just can't understand it!

    Thank you all!

Hi and welcome to the forums!

You must configure a filter on the BIS website.

Use the attached procedure to solve the problem.

  • Filter email to blackBerry Smartphones?

Is there a way to filter e-mails sent to my BlackBerry Curve. Just recently, I place my curve for my personal emails are pushed to my phone. It works very well. The problem I have is that ALL my emails go to my phone. Ones I want and spam that I don't want. Is there a way to filter the spam that my alert will not off every 5 minutes, 24 hours a day?

You will need to filter it to your email I think.

  • Notifications by email of blackBerry Smartphones Message app duplicatiing

    Hello

Could someone explain to me please how to get the application of Message on the home page to stop sending notifications when e-mails arrive in my email app? I use the Yahoo email app and everytime I get an email notification that I also get the same notification duplicated in the request Message. It's just a little annoying.

    Thanks in advance.

Here's a post I made some time ago which explains how the messaging application. The basic answer is WAD - works as expected.

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?board.ID=9500&message.ID=30149#M30149

While this position was aligned to BES users, the basic concept is intact. Messages is the main place for all messages (WAD) - separate icons for individual accounts are as a filter for the icon displays only messages related to that specific account. What I have done is to put the Messages icon to the bottom in a subfolder, and I just get something must come who is not associated with a specific icon on my home screen (e.g., PIN Messages, etc.).

On the storm, you still have the ability to split the TEXT in their own icon (and not duplicated in Messages). With any list message appears:

BBKey > Options > General Options

The list a little ways is a selection for "SMS and email Inboxes" - separate value and you will have a new icon just for SMS/MMS.

BTW - the selection of alert messages is simply a quick key to app of sounds so that you can change the alerts associated with this account. But since he launched the app sounds, you see indeed everything in the app sounds.

    Hope something here is useful.

    See you soon!
