  Hey,.

  I have an alienware aurora end of 2012 I believe.

  I currently have a series of 6800 AMD raedon graphics card, processor 3930 r9 k i7 and 8 GB of ram.

  I recently bought a MSI gtx 970 game to replace my old graphics card. I plug this card and it even lights up when I turn on the computer, but however my pc only happens to the start screen where I get the choice after pressing F2 and F12 and then freezes and I can't do anything. I then hear 3 beeps of inside my pc and then it proceeds to a blackscreen where my only choice is to turn it off manually.

  I tried to uppgrade my BIOS without much success (dident make it work), uninstall all graphics drivers from AMD, but nothing has changed.

  So I'm clueless I'm kinda a noob of the pc and have no idea what could cause this and would love help to explain what happens if all goes well if anyone knows a fix.

  You you connected all power cables required PCIe 970? They are probably different config as AMD-6800. You should have 875w PS, but you might need to check that.

  Probably should have uninstalled AMD Driver Suite (catalyst) before removing the card from AMD.

  If card MSI BIOS a double switch, you can try another position.

  Try Mode Windows safe.

  What operating system do you use? Are you running the UEFI BIOS or legacy Mode?

• Update the BIOS Alienware x 51 does not start

  After the BIOS level and rebooted the system, now it seems changed the configuration of startup and 10 Windows does not start.

  Boot option should be UEFI. Disable secure boot, and then on the Advanced tab > Integrated devices: change SATA AHCI mode.

  If the problem persists, press F9 to return to the default settings.

  I go give the situation leading to this problem in aid of casemit t.

  My computer started to slow down a lot, the computer crashed quite often in 2 different ways 1 the computer could hang with a message from windows saying that my computer ran into problems the second way, it would be a black screen saying no internal hard drive, also found if I leave my computer on for a while it would end in the 2nd type of accident or when I tried to come back and give the signal to pc can he would not return.

  After a few days when I started the computer windows started normally but it was extremely slow nothing loaded quickly a process that was normally a few minutes became hours.

  Then, I started in safe mode to reset my computer bug each time said he couldn't finish.

  Hi, I installed an ssd in my computer and he cloned with the included software of Samsung in order to use it as my boot disk with the hard drive as additional storage space. Everything I did, but when I went into the bios to change the boot drive, that it froze. After waiting a while I hard reset it and now when I start it up I see the Alienware logo and model number, but it stays there and nothing else happens.   I solved the problem. I removed the cmos for 10 minutes battery and it booted up fine. Thanks for the help tho.

  Okay, so I have a problem with my system. I was watching Netflix last night, and all of a sudden, my laptop makes a weird almost cracking and turn off the power. I was not able to start up since then. I have never dropped or dealt with any kind of damage. Although I have it plugged in 95% of the time I use it, I see really any damage that I could have done. I tried to disconnect the battery and drain, but nothing really works. Anything help! Thank you

  I guess as a component fried itself and check whether or you can follow the service manual for your laptop and take it apart.  Inspect the motherboard and a circuit for burns or melted areas.  If you find it take a picture for the support of the guarantee.  If you do not have a problem, I just go ahead and try to get the support of the guarantee without the photo.

  But unfortunately, it seems that something fried and needs to be replaced.  (probably the GPU)

  What Alienware model? One thing that you might try. Unplug the power supply from the wall. Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds. Plug the power back in and try again. If the computer is only a month, it is still under warranty, so you could give Alienware support a call.   @Brians4902 thanks for the reply I'm sorry that it wasn't earlier... my computer is down.  Unfortunately for me, your suggestion did not work.  I used Alienrespawn, reduced the system to original settings and re installed everything.  I still don't know what caused the accident.  Thanks for your help.

• Siri does not start under macOS Sierra

  I've recently updated to macOS Sierra (public version) and everything seems fine, except for allowing to Siri. I tried to enable the system preferences as well as execution of the Siri application in the application. I even tried to 'facilitation' by selecting in the menu bar.

  In any case it does not start. Upon activation in system preferences, I get "There was an error in the preferences of Siri." and it takes back me to the main view of system preferences.

  I assume you mean a USB hub? What does do when it's plugged in? It starts successfully when the hub is not plugged? If so, I would say that something is wrong with the hub or there is a problem with the port it is plugged or something plugged into the hub.

  Try to plug it into a different USB port on your Mac.
