  I have an alienware aurora end of 2012 I believe.

  I currently have a series of 6800 AMD raedon graphics card, processor 3930 r9 k i7 and 8 GB of ram.

  I recently bought a MSI gtx 970 game to replace my old graphics card. I plug this card and it even lights up when I turn on the computer, but however my pc only happens to the start screen where I get the choice after pressing F2 and F12 and then freezes and I can't do anything. I then hear 3 beeps of inside my pc and then it proceeds to a blackscreen where my only choice is to turn it off manually.

  I tried to uppgrade my BIOS without much success (dident make it work), uninstall all graphics drivers from AMD, but nothing has changed.

  So I'm clueless I'm kinda a noob of the pc and have no idea what could cause this and would love help to explain what happens if all goes well if anyone knows a fix.

  You you connected all power cables required PCIe 970? They are probably different config as AMD-6800. You should have 875w PS, but you might need to check that.

  Probably should have uninstalled AMD Driver Suite (catalyst) before removing the card from AMD.

  If card MSI BIOS a double switch, you can try another position.

  Try Mode Windows safe.

  What operating system do you use? Are you running the UEFI BIOS or legacy Mode?

  Yesterday morning I shut down my computer to install windows updates (16 to be precise) and when I got up about 8 hours later it was 11. Then I went to work and came home 12 hours later and my computer was turned off. So I thought it's over. Now, when I press the power button that fans turn on, then slow down real low, the light on the side flash on for a millisecond (not even at its maximum intensity) and turn off, and I have no connection to any USB and my right monitor says 'no signal '. The white light on the power button stays on, the green light on the back of the power is solid green. When I opened the door where you put a CD into those light fire.   If it was my pc, I would have removed the button battery on-Board 1-5 minutes to clear my bios settings, reinstall it, turning on, see if my screen came if it did, I would get into the bios, make sure that the sata ahci controller is enabled, and then see if Windows starts.

  Otherwise, switch off; Remove all the cards from your memory. Turning the power on. If your mthrbrd is still alive, only it beeps in the presence of no memory... a quiet mthrbrd without memory is a bad sign...

  I'm having a problem with my Satellite 2450 where it is not initialize properly - is stuck in the screen of Windows XP (just continues to scroll through and hangs there).
  I can boot into safe mode.
  Have not had any other problems with it - no errors, do not have installed/uninstalled anything recently.

  Any ideas what could cause this problem?
  Do you think I should use the recovery disk to reinstall the OS? Anything less drastic I can try?

  Usually, if the laptop does not start correctly in normal mode, but only in SafeMode because some drivers or / and software applications are false or defective.

  Boot option should be UEFI. Disable secure boot, and then on the Advanced tab > Integrated devices: change SATA AHCI mode.

  Ive always had a few hard drives in my computer at all times

  A few days ago, I had problems with my windows 7 install that I tabled to the installation while I had all of my hard drives connected at installation time.

  2 days ago I decided to start over fresh with a windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. I also bought a new 64gig OCZ SSD for my OS.

  I disconnected all my drives except the SSD and performed a complete installation of windows 7 and all a well worked first go again.
  I then started to shut down my computer and adding a hard drive to the times and re starting and in ensuring that the drive letters came back how I got them I had on my previous built and changing them were nessisary.

  I installed my 5 drives in this case and the computer rebooted fine and everything was perfect until!

  installed hard drives
  1 SSD 64 GB
  2. 1.5 TB of storage
  3. 1.5 TB of storage
  4. 320 GB movies
  5. 320 GB games

  I copied all HDD 4. movies (only movies and music files) on disk 3.
  then I removed the hard drive of 4 and replaced by a new hard disk 1.5 TB and restarted the computer
  the computer starts very well and once loaded windows I coppied the movies and music of the new 1.5 TB hard drive back.
