All-in-One-23-q152M: external monitor adding

An external monitor can be added to a HP Pavilion CTO everything-in-a-23-q152m (Touch) ?

There is a port for HDMI output on the back of your PC. You'll need a display with an HDMI input port and an HDMI cable.

See the image below for the location of the port.

  • 27 - n102a: can I use All In One as a second monitor?

    Hello!

I have a couple of laptops and would like to know if I can use my HP 27 - n102a as a second monitor for them. One is an HP revolve 810 and the other is an Asus, well that do not know if it matters.

My HP turn seems to have a DisplayPort and my Asus has a mini HDMI port.

    Thank you!

After reviewing the ports on your computer AIO, I don't think you can however connect your laptop.  It is quite simply not be used as a monitor.

  • Connect a second monitor to the all-in-one desire

Please forgive my ignorance on this subject in advance.

I just bought a HP Envy all-in-One.  Model 23o014; Product F3E94AA #ABA.  I am running Windows 8.1.   I'm very happy with my purchase so far.

I also bought an AOC E2470Sw monitor and want to connect it as a second monitor to the all-in-One.

AOC monitor has a VGA (?-15-pin) connection), but also has two HDMI inputs.  I THOUGHT (with the agreement of my distracted salesman) that I could connect the two with a HDMI connector on both machines, but I get a blank on the AOC screen when I try.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you

    Sally

    Hello...

The HDMI connector on the base is an entry, not an output. For a second monitor, you will need to go with a USB to video card.

  • Portege M200 with external monitor - what is the best resolution?

As a result of a recent post on using an external monitor with the M400, I have a question on the use of one with the M200. I realize that the M200 uses the graphics card Nvidia rather than the graphics card Intel in the M400 - is it better with regard to the use of an external display is concerned? The M200 manual says that it will support up to 1600 x 1536 resolution on an external display. I want to use my M200 in a docking station with an external monitor to the extended desktop.

What would be the best resolution to go with externally? Should I go for 1400 x 1050 screen LCD M200 match? Or could I go for a 1600 x 1200, that should the graphics card (!) be able to cope? Or, finally, if I went to a widescreen 1680 x 1050, how would the face Nvidia card? The screen is not as clear as with the 1600 x 1050 screen?

What are the chances of work at all? I see in the M400 manual which she is supposed to support 2048 x 1536 on an external monitor, but this seems to be a problem, judging from the other post.

    Any help appreciated - thanks

    Hello

Well, the resolution of the screen depends primarily on the graphics card.
If you want to use a display resolution that the graphics card must support. In addition, the graphics card driver is important. If the graphics card will support the resolution of the screen, BUT the resolution is not listed in the graphics driver, so you will not be able to choose this value.

To my knowledge, if you use the docking station you will get Supportepar as the notebook display resolutions.
The resolution of the external display also depends on the external display. If the material of the monitor will not support the resolution so you will not be able to get all the images on the external monitor.

I think the best way is to test that the resolution is the best. Some people prefer the high resolution of small icons and other blind ;) like low resolutions (1024 x 768) because of the large icons

  • Satellite P200 - external monitor

    Hi all

I bought an external monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD) to expand one of my laptop (Toshiba Satellite P200 - 1 K 9, ATI Readon 2600HD).

When the monitor is connected with VGA, all is well for the first two hours. Later, a message saying: 'the driver has stopped working and restarted' watch. Immediately after that, Vista restarts. When I connect the HDMI monitor, the image quality is very poor. I installed the latest drivers for the graphics card and the monitor.

    Any ideas?.

    Thank you

    Hello Nikola

A friend of mine bought 23 external screen but not Samsung. He uses it with Satellite U400. Satellite U400 has HDMI port as your Satellite P200.
He tested it with HDMI-HDMI cable and the picture was not so perfect.
Later he bought a HDMI-DVI cable and the image on the external screen is now perfect. HDMI is connected to the computer laptop and DVI to display.

If possible, try the same thing. I really hope that you will have a good result too.
Please note that with this cable just video signal will be sent to the screen. For audio you need separate cable.

  • Shift the image with connected external monitor

    Hi all.

My old external monitor just called it a day, so I bought a new. A U28D590 of Samsung 4 k. pretty lousy video quality compared to my old, but I can live with, I got it for next to nothing.

The big problem is the poor 'speed of feeling. " mouse cursor movement is undoubtedly lag compared to the internal screen (I use the copying video, so I can compare the screens in real time). Not much, but certainly enough to drive me crazy enough. This request veeery mouse movements delicate, almost like with an old PC if you know what I'm talking about, otherwise I 'miss' buttons and other things GUI I want to click because I overcompensate my movements, so to speak.

The monitor is connected through HDMI. I read things about HDMI not providing the highest possible refresh. I expect better results if I connect via Thunderbolt/DisplayPort? If so, I would need an adapter mini-DP and DP. This card must meet specific requirements?

My question is not similar to the questions of others since my internal screen is behaving properly. Any ideas?

(If you have an idea, please do not check your answer as "good response" before checking with me, thank you.)

mouse cursor movement is undoubtedly lag

It's counterintuitive, but the most common cause for follow-up of the mouse lag ' uses in all cycles CPU ", does NOT slow updating the display.

Try to run CPU screen activity showing all processes, or to download and run a report of etrecheck .

PS > the original poster is the only person who can mark answers as "solved my problem. But it the system encourages you to do by asking wrong questions along the way.

  • External monitor to an hp pavilion 23-b010 all-in-one desktop?

I just bought a hp pavilion 23-b010 all-in-one desktop computer... can I connect it to an external monitor? and if so, are there special requirements for the external monitor?

Here are the specifications of your all-in-one HP Pavilion 23-b010 computer office. According to the specifications, this computer has no video output of any kind ports (DisplayPort, VGA, DVI, or HDMI). You will need to purchase and use a USB-to-video as the EVGA UV adapter more + UV39 or UV19 to connect an external monitor to your computer.

  • Inspiron One 2320 - All In One No Image displayed. Works with the external monitor.

System works properly when connected to an external monitor. I use it for this type. Built in touch screen does not display any image, but turns on and stays on. That's all just white. I took it to a guy from the local computer that has not been able to diagnose. He changed the LCD cable I think, he said. I have updated the video drivers.

    Is the monitor shot?

If I need to replace the screen could I just buy a nontouch screen that is much more affordable and replace it with that?

In fact, I give you a link to the manual in my last post, but had broken in this post then try this link.

Instructions to remove the touch control panel, screen Assembly and then the display panel begins on page 105.

  • How to connect an additional monitor for the gateway all-in-one?

Hello you all, I have a question I hope you a lot more smarter computer people can help me with. I have a friend who has a gateway all in one model #-ZX4931. It has a VGA port on the back. It has been also updated for Windows 10. I'm house sitting and dog looking for her in a few weeks

I want to plug the additional monitor which by the way, it's a Dell (sorry) to work on a project I'am doing right now. I try to use the screen that she has on the All In One and I didn't like how my project came out looking

I see on the back of its All In One, it has a VGA port. I Google several times and different words from Google, which told me that you cannot plug an additional external monitor for all in one PC, so I'm confused as to why there is a VGA port, if you couldn't plug the external monitor

in any case, can someone please help me and give me details on how to connect an external monitor, in addition to its gateway all in one model #-ZX4931

Looking at your specific model, I think you can try to connect an external monitor via the VGA port.

Once you have connected the secondary monitor using the VGA port, press control + p and main Windows logo if you are able to extend or clone your desktop.

  • After update Dreamweaver CC 2015.2, overview of device does not and one external monitor

When Dreamweaver is open on an external monitor, pop-up preview feature shows a very different resolution, making it impossible to use.  It is not a big problem, as I can just drag the application to return to my main monitor, but still a slight annoyance.  All the patches would be appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Here's what I see.

    Screen Shot 2016-03-25 at 11.04.53 AM.png

    This is news.

I'm guessing the resolution of your screen is significantly different from the main one?

DW has not been optimized for screens high resolution yet, maybe someday (he was promised for a while now).

  • Pavilion all-in-one 23: Add the second monitor to HP Pavilion CTO all-in-One-23-p110z

As it is configured, the factory is the "HP Pavilion all-in-one-23-p110z CTO" capable of supporting a second monitor?  I see NO obvious "video inputs" ports.

    Thank you!

    Hi @beckinista,

Thank you for being an active member of the HP's Support Forums.   I understand that you would like to know if you can connect a second computer monitor 23-p110z all-in-One CTO Pavilion.

The specifications of the motherboard of your computer show that there not a secondary display port. I have included HP Pavilion 23 - p110z all-in-one CTO Office product specifications and configurable Options and HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - specifications of the motherboard, Boa for your reference.

    I hope the above helps.

    Hello

The HDMI port on the tilt is IN a port. You need something similar to the following device (called USB video adapter):
