For the last 3 weeks I can not connect to Netflix using Windows Media Center. I have a message saying "he has a signature issue. Check the operation of your Internet connection and try again. "My internet connection works. I can connected to Netflix using IE and Firefox. I can also on other web pages. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Original title: Windows Media Center help
I have a TV tuner card installed on my PC and was seen no problem pulling in all my OTA channels in my area of Minneapolis/St. Paul MN.  Now a channel does not work it's affiliate Fox 9.1.  9.2 works fine and all my other channels.  9.1 works very well on my other two TVs connected to the same antenna.  I wonder if there is a setting or something that could help me with this problem.  Thank you.

    Hello

I'll also have a very similar problem.  Using OTA in cleveland, oh and the same error message, even if I have a problem with 19.1 (CBS) but 19.2 is fine as well as all my other stations.  I have my pc connected to a plasma tv and if I change its entry for antenna 19.1 comes to the fine and they are both connected to the same antenna.  I deleted and re-analyzed for channels and 19.1 is here and checking of its green signal strength but no picture.  I also tried to uninstall/reinstall the (aver Duo media) tv tuner driver nothing works.  This is a recent problem that this system has been since win7 is released and this channel has always worked. If you have found a solution, could you please post.

    UPDATE

OK, I found a solution that worked for me, its the site of hack7mc. http://www.hack7mc.com/2009/09/clearing-Guide-data-and-tuner-Setup-from-Windows-7-Media-Center.html.  I didn't know all the services they have highlighted but I stop those who ran, deleted the db for the guide data and restarted. Once back at the CCM reran the live tv Setup and everything worked. I hope this helps.

  • Netflix search works only in Windows Media Center (windows 7 pro or Home Premium)

A couple of weeks, there is an update to the Netflix app and since then all 3 of my media center Netflix apps is no longer looking.  First error says "APPLICATION ERROR there is a problem with the application at this time. Try again later. "and the second says"SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE this web service is currently unavailable. Try again later.  I checked that the service IS available, because it works fine in IE and I contacted Netflix to confirm status.  The update of the application Netflix WMC seems to be broken.  Anyone know of a fix or are we at the mercy of having to wait for that ultimately get solved by Microsoft.  (I run everyday Media Center is our main source/interface for television and movies).

I am a network/systems admin.... do NOT ask me if I restarted my computer or re-installed the application

Thanks for any help on this!

It is a failure on both of my computers of Win 7. Must the installation be run from the command line? I don't see the Install.log file that he mentions.

Edit: So much worse! Read another thread mentioned that he had to be run from a local directory rather then a network drive, worked like a charm! Thank you!!

  • Why the windows media center opens all my programs?

I was working on my computer when all of a sudden, I was asked what I wanted to use to open a program. I chose 'Windows Media Center', and suddenly most of my desktop icons changed to icons in Media Center. Now, anytime I want to open a program like a web browser or game, it redirects me to Windows Media Center. Is it possible to reset these programs so that it does not happen? I'm not very good with computers, so a method of dumbed-down would really help.

  • Repair Windows Media Center for Windows 7

I'm having a problem with Windows Media Center. Whenever I try to open it, it says it has stopped working and he's looking for the problem. Then it does nothing... I can't do a system restore, simply because there is no restore point on the computer. It won't let me download an older version. It's not even in my list of programs. I am running Windows 7 on a computer that came with Vista Home Basic, so it has some difficulties sometimes still. Is there a way I can fix the program? Can someone help me please?

Go to the Control Panel and select programs and features

In the upper-left corner of the window, select turn Windows features on or OFF.

Expand the entry for the multimedia features (select the plus sign (+).)

    Only uncheck Windows Media Center

    Select OK.

    Restart your computer.

Go back and put a check in the box, and then restart your computer.

view the TV folder in Windows Explorer and click with the right button on the show.
then convert DVR - MS to view on the shortcut menu.  Video reDo might work
