  I recently bought a Macbook Pro and can not download my Photoshop CS6 extended.  I have a serial number and product code the product disc, but, but still am not able to download my product.  All the instructions say "double-click install.app" but this seems to be a non-existent option on my computer.  I even bought a drive USB superdrive for the sole reason to put in my product directly drive download and it does not work either.

  I also tried to install directly from the site Web Adobe - my serial code was denied, but I only used it on my old laptop, so it is supposed to work again.

  It seems equally clear that Adobe did the download of older products as difficult as possible for past clients.  This is ridiculous. I spent hours trying to get this to work and have gotten nowhere.  Does anyone have advice for me?

  It is not known if you encounter a problem downloading or installation problem, but it looks to be an installation problem.

• Firefox will not load Java on Linux - even after following all the instructions on the net I can find - what am I doing wrong?

  The problem I have is that I am running Puppy Linux on my laptop.

  Now, I have tried everything I can to get Java works under Firefox, chrome, or Seamonkey (I have all three browsers on my computer).

  For firefox and seamonkey, I tried the following-

  Downloaded the tar.gz for java file
  he unzipped in/opt/java
  went to/user/lib/mozilla/plugins and run the command
  ln-s/opt/java/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
  to create the symbolic link to the plugin
  check that the plugin is executable (in fact even tried to give all full read/write permission and run it)

  For chrome does the same thing but put the symbolic link in the/usr/lib/chromium-linux/plugins folder instead.

  Restart the web browser, even tried to restart the X server where the browser runs somewhere in the background.

  All three browsers can pick up all other .so plugins in this folder except Java.

  When I click on check plugins on firefox I access the page on 'Missing Java? -For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Java. Please install the latest version.

  However, the version I downloaded is Version 7 9 update that is exactly the same as that which is available under the latest version of Java is (it was only downloaded from this link a few minutes before, I even tried to re - download just in case there was an update in 5 minutes).

  If I go to the Java folder and run the control panel of the Java Control Panel appears, and he knows where Java is installed and everything.

  So what's happening? I have installed the plugin in the right directory?   libjavaplugin_oji.so is the classic Java plugin.
  
  You need the libnpjp2.so of next generation plugin (for examplejava/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so) for current browsers.

• I just spent 2 full hours trying to synchronize Firefox on my desktop pc and my android phone. Won't work, even if I follow all the instructions correctly.

  I went to FIREFOX, CONFIGURE the SYNCHRONIZATION. I created a new account (address email, password twice, box for the General conditions of privacy, anti-robot box). On a separate tab, a screen appears with the message "Set up complete! I've closed this tab, then went to PAIR A DEVICE pc, entered screen code that appeared on the screen to CONFIGURE the FIREFOX SYNC to my phone, and then click NEXT. The phone showed immediately (a busy area horizontal) activity, with the message "Waiting for device"... After 7 minutes, the default phone CONFIGURE the FIREFOX SYNC with a new code in the 3 boxes, and the default pc on-screen set UP SYNC with 2 buttons, set UP the SYNCHRONIZATION and a PAIR DEVICE. Somewhere in the process described above (I don't remember exactly where...), the pc asked me a RECOVERY KEY - which I could not find anywhere, either on the phone or the pc. I repeated it at least 5 times, always with the same result-no.   When you open the desktop synchronization page (Tools > options > sync) makes it look like the image below? If it is not so sync is not installed on the desktop computer.

  Sounds like Firefox cannot have been closed completely when the files have been copied, or the copy and replace files with the same name did not. Windows should have asked if you want to replace each old file with the 'copied' version, and that didn't happen to you ignored.

  Or you copied the files in the profile \Local Sattings\App Data\ folder and not the profile folder OK \App Data\ - , but that would not have re-created empty files.

  Enabled Firefox this afternoon to find all the text made too big by about 30%. Icons in the bookmarks bar and the tabs are too big, as well. If I press on Ctrl + - twice, then it seems normal, but Ctrl + 0 returned any abnormally high. Gmail in particular seems wrong no matter what I put the zoom, as if the user interface is too large, but the text is too small.

  I don't know what is happening. Several reboots of Firefox has not helped. Disabling each addon and plugin did not help.

  Can you use Ctrl ++ (zoom full page) to increase the size on Gmail? I'm sure that at least a few sites you will need to do this, depending on the size of pixel of your screen.

  Do you remember how you disabled? There is a tab in the Java Panel which does not appear in one of your browsers. If you out there, you will probably have to return to the control panel and turn it here first.
