  Do you not need to run all the operating systems on the machine? With the help of VMware or similar is the way to go, but with this card, you don't have much choice, you must upgrade first to 8 GB of RAM. It comes with FreeDOS, you need at least a host operating system in order to run the virtual machine.  At this point, Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate is the starting point.

  Previously, I joined OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1 with EBS 11.5.10 and I created 3 blocks of initialization EBS Single Sign on integration, get EBS security context, the responsibility of EBS group and 2 reference static variables ORA_EBS_OLTP_DSN, ORA_EBS_OLTP_USER and finally configured pools connections on the side of repository. I put the execute connect on request to call the function "app_initialize" of the EBS.
  
  Now I am trying to set up integration with EBS R12 and have founded business unit security. To do this, I created an additional initialization block to fill the OU_ORG variable. Is this block extra enough to set the security of operating in R12 unit. As I am being able to connect EBS R12 in the responses, but the session does not appear to be initialized and does not appear the data in reports. I have the metalink document follwoed to define integration for EBS 11.5.10. Is it the same for R12 or all other measures must be made?

  R12 is different in terms of security of the org.
  You must call mo_global.init('S') or similar.

  You will lose if all downloads are saved on the C partition. Before recovery procedure starts the HARD drive (or chooses the partition) will be formatted and all data will be gone.

  Because of this data backup and install WXP using the recovery DVDs delivered.

• x 230 touchpad: all units of bad or wrong?

  I just had the 230 x and find great, except the touchpad that almost makes the computer unusable for me. The touchpad is very imprecise and glitch, the more there is the problem of the button also the touchpad area, which means when I click, the pointer often jumps.

  I have seen several threads here and on other forums where some users say its not so bad that others say its unusable. (I've not seen all solutions). So my question is, are there faulty touchpads or are they all this way, and some people just don't mind them as well?

  If this is the first, I'll go back for a replacement unit. So late, I will return it for a refund.

  
  

• Allocation of vSphere with a host operations management licenses

  Hi all

  How in the world I assign VMware vSphere with standard 5.5 license management operations to a host? The implementation has been green field, so we bought the acceleration for vCenter server kit that comes with 6 licenses vSphere with the direction of the operation. I've got Ops Manager works well and himself is allowed and can see all hosts. We also bought 12 additional licenses for 18 in total, and I can see the other 12 and assign them to hosts, but can not see the original 6. I never could.

  Finally, I called support license and solved it. I had to downgrade 6 Operations Manager vCenter licenses in order to see them. My hosts are all on ESX 5.1. The downgrade is made of my.vmware.com--> license keys--> I want to: Downgrade from licenses. He worked as expected after that.

• HP Photo smart 5510: printers and all UNITS

  After scanning, the background of the page came in gray and not in pure white.

  So I was running the printing software HP and doctor Scan. The gray background problem solved but new problem started. After scanning left and upper paper edge is done with a thick black border. This problem wasn't there before execution of the HP Print doctor and South American.

  I had re - run the same software, but this dark page border problem continues.

  I would ensure that the printer gets the right amount of power.

  I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
  Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
  This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  • Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  Make sure that the scan cover is closed so that the light can seep into the analysis.

  All business units that share a set of books also share the same period status. When we update the State time to open in an operating unit, this period is open for all units operating within the whole books. When attempting to update the State closed in an operating unit, the system checks the uncommitted transactions in all units operating within all of the books. If there are uncommitted transactions in one of the operating units, you are asked to solve for these before operating units uncommitted transactions can close the period for all the books.

  At the above limitation is here in R12, if yes could you please explain in detail.

  Hi Srinivas,

  This restriction exists as well in R12. Periods gl are always defined by all of the books, so, if you open (or close) the period within an organization that uses all of the books, it is opened (or closed) in all agencies as well.

  You can check this in the HR_ALL_ORGANIZATION_UNITS table.

  TYPE column will be reference types (i.e. Business Unit, operating unit), and to verify the number of organizations assigned to operational unit
