• Sudden loss of alphanumeric keys on wireless keyboard

  I have two computers of FitPC3 Win7Pro.  I have an IOGEAR GKM681R wireless keyboard to use with a.  It worked fine for a few months and then the alphanumeric keys suddenly stopped working.  All the other keys on the device, the scroll and trackball worked well, but I couldn't type.  More funny thing is, I can type during installation of boot, but lose the ability after the boot of Win7.  Connect the keyboard to the other FitPC and it works very well.  It took the computer repair, but they couldn't fix it.  Have tried to replace all the drivers that I can find.  Not all of a sudden, imagine what went wrong.  Ideas?  I need this type of apparatus for radiocommunications wireless mobile ham.

• How to dispose non alphanumeric key into a string?

  To start an application I developed, I would like the user to write his or her password in the first round table, but I want that whenever the user must type a character in the control of the chain Hide_Password (see photo), it is automatically converted to a "." to hide the password. The real password is saved in a second chain of control. It's actually my vi made using a key event upward. But now I want to avoid any nonalphanumeric character to be enter the password, especially I don't want that the user can press the menu like , , , , andand also the , , , . I guess I have to use key down? event by removing all the keys I don't want to, but I'm sure there is an easier way to do it.

  You can also use the control key chain down? event and throw the event when the ascii char do not match one alphanumeric character.

  the numbers are located on the keys alpha e.g. u/4, i / 5, etc.

  I think that on this laptop model you press the FN key between the CTRL and Windows at the bottom left of your keyboard while pressing the desired key you wish to hit.  Please let us know if this isn't the case.

• SHIFT key gives bad non-alphanumerique character keys

  I'm having a problem with the shift on Windows 7:

  After using a program for some time, the SHIFT key suddenly begins to produce the bad characters non-alphanumeriques key.

  It is the specific program - if I switch to another application, the shift key works fine. In addition, it disappears if I stop and restart the program.  But I've had this problem now in three unrelated applications, so that it looks like Windows 7, not the application.  In addition, it is a new feature of Windows 7, I never had XP or products previous (I skipped Vista!).

  It is not specific to one machine - I had it located on my desktop and my laptop (both machines to Windows 7 that I use regularly).

  It is quite possible that it is caused by pressing a combination of keys accidentally while I type, but I have no idea what could be the combination or how to restore normal operation.

  It is not a big problem because there are solutions, but it's getting boring!

  Your keyboard has one or two other input languages available, probably the Canadian French and Canadian multilingual Standard which change the keyboard layout. Additional keyboard layouts will probably be triggered from assigned access keys. You need get the Advanced key settings within the input languages and text Services.

  Certainly, it is hard to find dialogue. I had the same problem between US (in English), Canadian French and Canadian multilingual (standard). I left intact language, but removed the quick access keys.

  If you spot a small icon keyboard in the Bar of Notification (right part of the taskbar, just to the left of the clock and a few other icons), then right-click and select settings.

  If this isn't the case, you will need applet of the region and language Control Panel, dialog language and region , the button Change keyboards... the keyboards and languages tab.

  Whatever it is, you should be at the service of text and input languages dialog box. Two options here:

  1. Remove all the languages that you do not want to stay on the system of the general tab.
  2. Click on the tab Advanced settings key . In the section of hot keys for input languages , use the Change Key Sequence button to remove any key Sequence that can interfere with your work. This includes the setting between the input languages (usually at the top of the list and probably the one causing your trouble).

• LabWindows - how to detect the unlock key?

  My application uses a reminder with EVENT_KEY_PRESS to detect the function keys on the keyboard. A routine is executed depending on the feature key. It all works very well.

  Is there a way to tell when the key is out?

  The goal is the routine to run only once and not repeated if the user is now pressed the button for an extended period of tiime.

  Note: You can also use this method to avoid multiple keypress for any key events.

  Scott used the example of function keys.  If you also want to avoid entering repeated alphanumeric keys, 1 return your reminder of the textbox to swallow the event, is not a new key pressure.

  My hp laptop with intel celeron is having a problem with the built-in keyboard when I was reading a document. A few keys work strangely.

  The keys f1, f2, f3... do not work according to their function.

  Recently, before I could try all the links my laptop 361 nr could start. So I looked in other forums and I did the hard reset and both my problems are solved.

  I'm extremely new to the product of the power of fire and was assigned to the online in my new job. We have the power module of heat load on the x 5545 and CME loaded as a virtual machine on a server. IM at the stage now where Im trying to record the firepower to the CSP module using the Configure Manager add x.x.x.x   command in the CLI of Module of firepower. My question is, where can I get the registration key of? All the documentation says it's a key to register the module in the CSP. Unfortunately this deployment was already partially in place before I was here so I don't know what this alphanumeric key is or where to find it. Any ideas?

  You can use any combination of alphanumeric characters as key such as abc123.  Make sure that you add the same key when registering of firepower on CMF too.

• How to fix the calendar to crash?

  Thunderbird is getting hung up a synchronization schedule and he ends by blocking the program or consumes just CPU so I have to kill him. It's a google calendar, which worked well for the last ~ month. Here's what happens:

  You can disable the problematic calendar in SafeMode in the following way:

  • Open config editor https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/config-editor
  • Research of "calendar.registry * name.
  • Find the name of the problematic calendar in the value column and take note of the alphanumeric key there in the preference name column (calendar.registry.key.name)
  • search for "calendar.registry.key."
  • Search for "calendar.registry.key.disabled" entry
  • DoubleClick to set it to true
  • Restart Thunderbird in normal mode

  After that, you should have this calendar disabled in Thunderbird and it should not try to synchronize it longer.

  If the calendar is caching enabled you can try to disable caching and the reactivation of the calendar. If the problem persists, you can always disable it again after trying this. If problem solves itself, you can try the reactivation of caching.

  All lighting options are associated with touch buttons.

  I understand that you need help to properly set up your HP LaserJet M1319f MFP to fax to your new line of distinctive ring provided by Telus. I would like to work with you today with the creation of your fax machine. Please follow the step by step instructions below.

  Step 1: Set the Distinctive Ring:

  1. Click on the Setup button () on the front panel of your printer
  2. Use the arrows to select the fax configuration and press OK.
  3. Use the arrow keys to select Fax Recv. configuration and press OK.
  4. Use the arrows to select the answer ring pattern and then press OK.
  5. Use the arrows to select the ringtone to "Double and Triple" then press OK.

  Step 2: Set auto answer on IT:

  1. Click on the Setup button () on the front panel of your printer
  2. Use the arrows to select the fax configuration and press OK.
  3. Use the arrow keys to select Fax Recv. configuration and press OK.
  4. Press OK to select the mode of response.
  5. Back to auto-answer and press OK.

  Step 3: Set rings to answer:

  I am currently using windows xp sp2 and I have to lock my computer. There is this window that ask us to press "ctrl-alt-del" to unlock the computer.   If three of the computers connected to the kvm switch are having the same problems, but not the others, it seems that it could be the switch kvm itself. I suggest try to connect a keyboard to the computer directly, if it works, try to reconnect the switch, ensuring that all connectors are properly attached. You can also try to use another port of the switch, anyway - if it works with the keyboard connected directly to the computer - the problem is most likely the switch and not the computer/os.

  I have an Intel wireless card and the driver install this utility (Precision M4400 under XP Pro SP3). When I try to connect to a network secure, instead of asking for a WEP key it wonder about ownership of the device and indicates that I should be able to find this number on the device. In this field, that I can type only in number, therefore impossible to enter a normal alphanumeric key.

  How can I ask him just the correct password, just like the utility of Windows? I read through the instructions and I have not found the answer. There may be a setting somewhere buried?

  One of my employees has reported the same issue.   I never encountered this problem before, but it's been long that I used this utility.  I used workaround is to create a profile for the network wireless using the Intel PROset/Wireless configuration utility.   Double-click the Intel Wireless Radio icon in the bottom right of the screen.  Click the Add button to create a new profile. Enter a unique profile for the connecton and then the SSID name.  Choose "Network (Infrastructure)" choose the type of security (personal or business), then the security settings (is it for my connection WPA-Personal (AES-CCMP).)  Click on OK and then close the profiles window.  You should be able to connect automatically to the profile.  I hope that helps!
