  Hi Al,.

  You cannot change the ammeter and voltmeter indicator output accuracy, that you can use instead is the probe. The probe is located on the toolbar of the Instrument.  When you double-click on the probe, and then select the 'Settings' tab, there is an option to configure the output precision.

  You have configured your myDAQ to sample 1000 points, and then deliver them to you.  I don't know why you change the size of the buffer inside the loop (and cannot see what you change him), but you continue to read of a single sample (over 1000 in the buffer) before calling another reading.  Terribly inefficient.

  Without (yet) how you process the data, why not focus on just get ?  Let your size of buffer to 1000, read 1 channel N samples to get the whole in buffer.  As you are clearly just beginning to learn how to do things, not be so ambitious - simplify your code to do only input analog and get this to work.  Once he does, see if you can replace the analog buffer of 1000 points to analog output (I think the myDAQ can do in the output buffer...).

  This restriction is common to many materials DAQ.  Some devices do not support having channels of several devices in the same tasks, but it is still quite rare (DSA and devices in the same chassis. PXI X series) and the modules in the CompactDAQ same chassis come to mind

  The main reason for this is that all devices in a single task share the same source of synchronization.  Unless you use a CompactDAQ or PXI chassis or using a RTSI cable between PCI devices, it is not a way for multiple devices to share the same source of synchronization.  So, each device must be in its own task.  This is the case for all devices no USB CompactDAQ, not only myDAQ.

  As far as I know it is not possible to connect two external displays. I know that you can only use a port. If you want to use two screens you probably external device as Toshiba Dynadock.

I found myself hundreds of documents in pdf format every day looking for scrolling. It is such a pleasure to use the trackpad for this purpose because it is very accurate and it seems natural. I stopped using any kind of mouse for the year last due to carpal syndrome.

  I do not use trackpad on the Macbook in construction because it makes my hand to bend into an uncomfortable position and it is very uncomfortable. Besides, I also use the base of laptop and my Macbook screen is positioned at the same level as my eyes.

  I wish I had a second trackpad because I usually use both hands to scroll through documents, and I don't want to move the trackpad because I become entitled to Apple keyboard in the middle. Thus, a trackpad for each hand. It's all about the ergonomics of the workspace.
