8610 HP all-in-one: wysiwyp

8610 HP does not correctly print wysiwyp in Word. Can someone help me?

Hey Joe,

Comment

Printing from Word is not a kind of wysiwyp of one thing – Word documents and images have all the rules themselves.  Just because you can see that this does not mean that it will print.

You could try to put a copy of your North/South America in paint - place your star on the image, and then save the Image as a .jpg (another name) file.

When you want to place the Image in Word, use Insert (and not copy / paste).  If the image does not precisely on your document within the margins, change the size of the image (right click and format of size), or perhaps even change the orientation of the document - for example, if the image is too large, try changing the orientation of the document in landscape mode.

Understand that your Word document may be able to use fonts that do not exist in your printer.  You must either embed the fonts that you use in the document, OR you use fonts that recognizes the printer.

General examples

Embed fonts:

Word file > file > Options > Save > CHECK Embed fonts in the file...

Use the printer fonts:

Word file > file > Options > Advanced >

Under Show document content > CHECK use fonts stored on the printer...

=========================================================

Your printer may have restrictions of margin - make sure that your document is using a margin configuration that is compatible with your printer.  For example, if the printer requires the thumb marges.5, you cannot allow your document using a configuration low bottom margin a.5 inches from the edge of the paper - this includes your footer / header, by the way.  Keep things hidden inside margins.

Use print preview to help imagine the result.

    Multipoint unresolved printing problem:

HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 had printed out successfully all the three above mentioned computers since the purchase of the 04/04/2015. End of August 2016 he started intermittently refusing to print wireless, sometimes do not connect wireless or holder from job to job.

09/06/16 I posted the question on the Forum of community HP between 07/09/16 and 08/09/16 had dialogue on possible solutions. I followed the Commission received and interpreted it following recommended tasks - all without result:

    (1) sequential power off and cord power to the router Range Extender, OfficeJet 8610 Pro and iMac and removal after 60 seconds of powering the devices in the same order. Result: would not print.

    (2) off wireless to iMac. IMac connected to a printer via an Ethernet cable. Printer would not print.

    (3) tried to scan the printer for iMac's wireless: would not scan.

    (4) tried Scan via an Ethernet cable from the printer to iMac: Scan worked.

    (5) connecting iMac via an Ethernet cable to the router and printing system reset iMac to remove the printer and then added printer as directed by its name: HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 [455491]. The results have been mixed:

    (a) wireless to iMac to the router and Ethernet cable router for printer: test page printed.

    (b) the iMac to the router and wireless router for printer: test page will not print.

08/09/16, having nothing specified by HP Community Forum, I contacted AT & T, the provider of my router and all my services (wireless, broadband, Internet, fixed phone) for the Support service.

    AT & T: recommended

    (1) make a new Setup wireless printing HP itself using my secure wireless network name and password, and then perform a reboot of the router. Between the two actions (new set-up and router reboot), the printer starts and print a previously submitted test page. To confirm that the printer was actually working, I turned off the printer, waited, he turned back and tried to print Test page: the page not print.

    (2) AT & T then told me to do a new manual of the printer setting. Just as I got Set Up on the screen of the printer, the printer prints the Test Page.

AT & T told me that the printer should work fine now.

Once I have shut down my system and restarted the 09/09/16, I found that I could not print anyway:

Wireless to the router for printer

Wireless to the router and Ethernet cable for printer

Ethernet cable to the router and wireless to a printer

    Ethernet cable for printer

Another experiment on 11/09/16 led to erratic printing depends on the original machine:

1 iMac for HP printer: wireless printer for iMac gives not the Page of Test sent for printing, but a series of blank pages, followed by several pages of code and followed by more white pages. Code pages are all the same and then talking about the Cambria police (body).

    a. the first pages all State: %! PS-Adobe-3, 0% APL_DCS_Encodiong: UFT8% APLProducer: (Version 10.11.6 (Build 15 1)

    b. human beings second page with: 14 start/FontName dict / TJOLUV+ def Cambria

Page 2 on three subsequent print reading attempts the same as above, except for a different set of letters before "+ Cambria". A UAXKPA, a JJCFBS, and the third is WOKHHG.

    2. yet, when I tried to print the Test Page of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro wireless, printing is successful (i.e., the test page prints and do not print pages blank and coded.

I'm sorely need a remedy to this overall situation.

    • What is originally intermittently, the HP printer?

    Hello @Markb60000,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer has problems when printing envelopes from your Windows 7 computer, as every other envelope seems to be ignored during the printing process. I would like to help you today with this problem to print the envelope. Now, the first thing I did after reviewing your post has been watching the media specifications for your specific HP Officejet. Just to let you know, the specifications of following envelopes are supported:

    • Envelope weight and loading capacity in Tray 1 of your printer are as follows:

    • The following envelope sizes are supported:

As long as you are printing on an envelope which is in the specific size and weight restrictions for your product, you shouldn't have any problem loading up to 30 envelopes in your bin at some point.

To confirm that your envelopes are loaded properly can I please have you click here. Once the support document opens click the drop down menu to "loading envelopes. Please check to confirm that you load the envelopes correctly in your paper tray.

    • If your envelope printing problem persists after checking that your type of envelope is justified and that they are loaded correctly, can you please specify what type of program you use on your Windows 7 computer to print envelopes of.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hear from you!

  • Help with e-all-in-one printer Officejet Pro 8610

I just bought a HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer.

To my surprise, the paper tray can't handle legal-size paper - only format letter!  Do I need to buy a special paper for legal size tray?  Where?

Although the printer has a USB port in the back (the so-called port USB Standard-B), it came not with a USB cable.  Is this normal?  I remember on previous purchases of HP printers they came with an extension cable USB with on one side a record Standard-A and Standard-B one at the other end.  Should I complain with HP?  To whom?

    Hello

1 no, you don't need a different sandbox, plesae take off all the papers and you can see a diagram of how to measure the status bar,

    2. No, many printers now do not come with USB cables. I believe that HP provides that USB cables for printers sold in the AP region (Asia Pacific).

    Kind regards.

  • All-in-one HP OfficeJet 8610: All in one HP 8610 does not print right to police

    Hello

you just bought a new HP all-in-one officejet 8610 to replace my 8600.

I use a police - Babylon5 hollow - to print a message (like "COPY") to the text, in red (but result in black or any other color is the same).

While my 8600 (and all my other printers) does it perfectly, the 8610 messes things.

The lines of the police (I use the 50 size) are so thin that the text is as good as not there.

I checked the settings of the printer, and they are substantially the same as for the 8600.

Any ideas? I use this font for years, and I am very attached to it :-)

    Thank you

    Hello

It is not the solution, but I solved my problem by using another font.
