AMT-12224: TNS:no headset - Windows 32 bit: 61 error: unknown error

Hello

I have a new installation of 11.5.10.2 in windwos 2003 and I am facing the following error in the two nodes (1 node database, admin, cms (mcorafinbdcl) - 2nd node forms and web (mcfinappcl) in 8.0.6 listener):

Error when I launch the lisneter manually or I make a status:

Connection to (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP (Port = 1626))(Host=mcorafinbdcl))
AMT-12224: TNS:no listener
AMT-12541: TNS:no listener
AMT-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
AMT-00511: no listener
32-bit Windows error: 61: unknown error

I've recreated the listener deleting the service and make a beginning of lsnrctl80 APPS_D11i but still does not!

Help, please! Thank you

Working with Oracle Database 11 g 2 on Windows 7.
I just installed Oracle with the option "install the software only.
You have already configured the instance, the database, the views of the dictionary, etc.
Created tsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora, listener.ora as shown below.

Before installing Oracle, I followed the instructions on Oracle
documentation to install a loopback adapter.
It is set up as the main Board as indicated on the
instructions. The name is "gabylan" (before the computer
called "P4". I created the 'hosts' file as noted, the oracle_hostname
variable, etc as you will see below. I don't know if it is important to 'Uncomment '.
the line on the file "hosts" for the entry "localhost", let him

Any listener residing on 'localhost', NEVER connectable from a remote client.

For the listener to accept the connection of the remote client request,
then listener must reside on the host using some routable IP #. other than 127.0.0.1

  • X32bit Oracle Clusterware/PAP Windows Installer or Windows 64-bit?

    Hello

What is your suggestion to install Oracle Clusterware RAC on Windows.
    Why choose 32-bit Windows?
    Why choose 64-bit Windows?

What are the advantages and disadvantages?

    Hello

I would certainly recommend 64-bit Windows, the main reason is the memory address limit.

In my view there is no benefits to use Windows 32 bit with Oracle Clusterware/RAC.

32-bit processors are 32 - bit wide address registers (can handle up to 4 GB of physical RAM).

You can use a workaround by allowing the addressing, 4, using settings in Windows (AWE/EAP). But if I want to use more than 4, I'm going to 64-bit Windows.

The 4 GB of addressable space per process is divided into user and system space. By default, the system space is 2 GB and the private user space is 2 GB. Each user process share the same system 2 GB address space.

Services of the Clusterware, ASM and listener will consume at least 1 GB of memory initially.
If you create an instance to use 1Gbytes and you have 50 connections you will have problems with connections to the database that is causing the following error.

      TNS-00510: Internal limit restriction exceeded
32-bit Windows Error: 8: Exec format error

     TNS-00507: Connection closed
32-bit Windows Error: 109: Unknown error

Reason: Use of memory problems. that is from memory.

    Another point:
With 32-bit Windows using the 11.1 Clusterware/PAP, you can set automatic memory Management (AMM) (MEMORY_TARGET) but you cannot use if you create 2 Instances on the same host.

    Check this note...

    * ORA-27102, OSD-00031 impossible to extend the Memory_max_target and Memory_target spent 2GB [ID 842881.1] *.

Oracle solution: Please install the 64-bit on a 64 bit server operating system, there is therefore no limitations of memory

I think that's the reason that Oracle is not supported Oracle Grid Infrastructure 11.2 on 32-bit Windows. You cannot use ASM 11.2 on 32-bit Windows.

Without a doubt there is no reason for me to use 32-bit Windows to support Oracle Clusterware.

There are a lot of involved services that require a large memory and memory on 32-bit limitation.

At present all the latest processors are 64-bit supported. Then install Oracle Clusterware/RAC x 64, even when you're using less memory 4, you have advantages.

The use of 64-bit advantages are:

64-bit Windows versions have implemented up to 16 terabytes of virtual address space
    programs 64-bit use 16 terabyte tuning model (8TB user / kernel 8TB)
No performance penalty for the large memory capacity
    Connectivity to unlimited users
64-bit versions of Windows allow addressing of memory sizes physics important without using EAP

    * Configuration of Windows memory: 32-bit and 64-bit [873752.1 ID] *.

This document gives a better understanding of my point of view.

  • Where can, Windows 64-bit users, learn about what to do or stop doing, because the builds for our system have been disabled?

I came across information that Firefox has not extinguished the development for Windows 64 - bit. Since my system I would like to know what it means.
Should uninstall us Firefox? Is there anyway we could still use it? I'm not a savvy computer, so I don't really no what to expect or where to find specific information on this subject.
I really like Firefox and do not want to switch browsers, but I wouldn't have the unpleasant surprise that someday I can no longer open the browser and lose all of my information without warning. I save a lot of important information, can I transfer it to another browser Asap?

Hello intr0uble, nothing will change for you - you can continue to use firefox as you did before! Firefox for windows has always been a 32-bit application (windows 7 64-bit supports 32-bit applications running). that a branch of an experimental developer 64-bit version will be discontinued for now...

  • HP Pavilion 14 inch laptop: Palm M500 hot sync with 8.1 Windows 64 bit

I have installed my software Palm Pilot M500 (from the original factory CD) on my HP Pavillion Lap Top. However, the hot sync fails and I get the following message: selected The COM7 Port is not available.  Hot Sync Manager will open port when it becomes available. »

Suggestions, how can it clears and the hot sync enabled?

It is a system of exploitation of 64-bit Microsoft Windows 8.1.

    Thank you

    You will need to:

    1. install Palm Desktop 6.2.2 (search for one of Wyrenut sons, where he links to it, a recent reshuffle of the forums by HP removed the stickied thread that kept the top of this forum where it was easy to see);
    2. Install the Aceeca 64 bit drivers (also doing a search here for synchronization with windows 64-bit); and
    3. install PalmHotsyncSetup of www.pimlicosoftware.com , which should make your M500 more compatible with the latest Palm Desktop.

    Good luck.

    Hi zock01,

    Thanks for letting me know.

I checked on our lab and the generic drivers are listed below for window 8 to add to see if this will allow you to print.

Go to the start screen, the type (menu tiles) in "Devices and printers", select settings, click devices and printers.
Click on add a printer in the upper part.

Select "the printer that I want isn't listed."
Click on 'add a local printer or network printer with manual settings.

    Click Next.
Select "use an existing port," select "USB" in the menu drop-down.
    Click Next.
Select "HP" in the column on the left and on the right, select 'Officejet Pro PCL3 class pilot.'

You can also try the "HP Photosmart PCL3 class driver" or "HP Deskjet PCL3 class pilot."

    Thank you.

  • Can't download iTunes 12.3.2 for Windows (64-bit)

    Hi guys,.

    This is my case; -.

    (1) I have "Reset content and settings" my iphone 6 iOS 9.2.1, then tried to restore to my last backup in my Itunes.

    (2) after the reset, pluged into my laptop makes itunes error shown "cannot use this iphone because it requires a newer version of itunes."

    (3) check the update in my itunes it showed the latest version (12.1.2) while the site is 12.3.2 iTunes for Windows (64-bit), then I downloaded it.

    4) now after downloading and is ready to run, my illustrated window "this app can run on your pc. My OS is windows 10 pro 64-bit.

    (5) I met it could be due to my security software, I uninstalled it.

    (6) even *, I can't update.

    (7) try to repair the Apple Software Update but still pop error "path C;\users\kenvy\AppData\local\temp\ixp.tmp\AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi" was not found, make sure you have access to this location and try again or try to find the installation package "AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product Apple Software Update.

can you help me, I need to restore my phone to the last backup I did.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

    Start by missing error MSI.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

  • Windows 64 bits on Yoga 2 compressed

I just bought a Yoga 2 tablet with Windows 8.1.

    It has installed 32-bit Windows. I have a few questions;

1 would work Windows 64-bit? My technical skills are a little rusty, but if I found the Windows registration/product key for my installation, I could do a 64 fresh Win 8.1 install using this product key?

2 does anyone know why they decided to install 32-bit as the default value? Maybe there is a problem with 64 bit? I know that the CPU is 64-bit, so I'm a bit confused why they chose 32-bit.

    3. does anyone have an opinion on the upgrade of Windows 10? Don't you think that it will offer the choice of upgrade to 64-bit Windows 10?

    Thank you guys.

64-bit OSes would not work without one update of the bios on tablets of Baytrail T. Microsoft got several bugs with interruption / resumption on windows 64-bit so, manufacturers send their products with 32-bit UEFI BIOS disables use US 64 bit processor with 64-bit operating systems (linux, windows, android...) some people managed to run android and linux with a few things , but it's hopeless for windows without an update of the bios or someone to build an image coreboot

should I have put windows 764-bit on this laptop - hp dv6000 2006 edition, came with xp? Dual processor 1.7, 2gbs ram

    Hi, Steve.

My suggestion, because you do not know your exact model laptop, is to run the tool to scan the Crucial memory and it should tell you how your PC can take memory and how fast. I'm assuming that PC2-5300, based on your processor. PC2-6400 also works if it's cheaper to buy.  It will just downclock at low speed 667 MHz.

Bravo - You just click on the White Star under my name.

    Thank you
