Analog capture and edit with PPro CS4

I got an old Sony TRV119 a few weeks ago at a yard sale.  It's an analog 8mm camera.  I intend to use it to transfer a box full of old 8mm tapes that I have in the 90's on DVD.  I have a Sony TRV30 or a Sony HDR - HC1 to use for analog-to-digital conversion, and then to my PC via IEEE 1394.  I'll make a montage with PPro CS4 and Encore CS4 allows to make the DVD.  I did it a couple of times before, but it has been a few years since the last time I did it and I barely remember how to connect to them.  The only thing I remember is that the Sony used for analog-to-digital conversion cannot have a tape inside to make it work.  I used the TRV30 for analog-to-digital conversion in the past.  If anyone can me clue or point me to a resource I would be very happy.  I think that similar to this discussion have been on this forum in the past, but I can find them.

Thank you

Dan

Not sure if it will work, but you could hang the trv119 with a composite to the trv30 and the trv30 with firewire to the computer.

Before, I used Windows XP and Nero Vision and never had a problem of capture or change from a House on a CD or a camcorder DVD.

Help, please. This problem may be related to missing codecs, but how can I solve the problem?

    Hi Constantino,

  • Error 50103 - simultaneous analog Vout and wine with start of analog triggering

    Hello

I'm stuck error 50103.  I looked on the Web site of NOR and worked through the 7 cases and think that my problem is the 6 case - although I'm not sure - and have no idea how to fix this. Basically, what I would do is out my signal and have receive side save after it passes through a noisy channel. To start, I have attached a trigger control so that the transmission or recording start before the input trigger exceeds a certain value (in my case, 3V).

Could someone please look at my code (attached, called 'Optical_DPPM_V3.vi')) and try to give me an indication as to what I'm doing wrong? Thank you!

Furthermore, I use examples of OR that I have also included in the .zip for reference file.

    Hi gt3000,.

Thanks for your reply. I actually solved the problem I called one of your offices directly and spoke with someone last night.

Indeed, the problem was "case 6" as it is stated on the page you gave. "." When I spole with one of your colleagues, I was directed to an example that does most of what I wanted. If anyone is interested, you can follow this path to find:

    Help--> find examples--> material input and output--> DAQmx--> synchronization--> multifunction--> multi-function Synch AI - AO.vi

It seems that the trick is to use an internal digital triggering to synchronize the CLK for VI and VO.

If people are interested, I can send my final code around for a differential pulse modulator, triggered by an external analog voltage which the receiver registers and stores the values in a worksheet. My next goal is actually write the code for the receiver to demodulate information... here go us!

    Thanks again,

Well, if I were to buy this model I would intensify the processor i7 - 2620 m for only $95, plus you get a helping hand from 2.0 GHz to 2.7 GHz.  CPU is the most important point for NLE.  If for any reason any you are not upgrading CPU, cut back on the graphics card to the GT 550 M

How do you meet the minimum requirements of system Adobe Premiere of 2 hard drives?  I see that they offer a second option.  If you are sure that it does not require a Dell in car of the brand and that it requires no additional hardware to install it you might be able to do it yourself which would be a bit cheaper, but there are two risks I mentioned.

  • Is it possible to save Photoshop Touch documents, so they can be read and edited by Photoshop CS4?

I am considering the purchase of the PS Touch, but must save in Photoshop CS4. Is it possible to do? I have not upgraded and don't count. If I can't save it for use in CS4, there is little need to buy it. Thanks for the ideas, you can provide.

You can save projects PS touch to PSD format (which is the file format of Photoshop). You must then send your project from PS contact by e-mail OR through creative cloud. You then get the PSD file and (of course) open it in Photoshop on the desktop.

  • Red frames and Freezed with XDCam and C300 files on export a montage

    Hello

IM random red images on export and editing with adobe pro cc the current (7.2.1) version first. my real schedule is around 50 min. documantary most c300, .mxf some xdcam .mxf files a gopro substance.

IM on a windows machine 7 with sufficient power to handle this long maturities. seems to me that first has some problem en/decoding xdcam op1a to fom. A lot of mistakes like this: MXF read errors "\\?\V:\xxxxx-1080p-XDCAMHD50PAL.mxf" 383 images.

Sometimes I have to export more than 5 times to get a file without red images which is annoying. My current solution exports dnxhd and re-encode to xdcam op1a but sound very time-consuming.

I have to export xdcam 50i for delivery to tv stations some of them don't acept other formats.

  • Flash ignores transparency when using "Edit with Photoshop".

    Hello everyone.

I have a problem - I have a .fla file filled with png transparent and I need to edit them with Photoshop. Recently the Flash (CS 5.5) began to replace transparency with a green or red color, so when I have something semi-transparent, I must again completely.

    flash.png

Photoshop opens as RGB/8 (which is weird, because he has always been indexed).

I don't know if it's a problem of Flash or Photoshop, so if it belongs to the PS forum, please tell me.

In addition, all ActionScript will not work for me, since we share with colleagues .fla files and "Edit with..." works fine for them and AS solution would take up to four times longer.

    Thank you for your advice.

I solved it in Flash reset settings to default values.

  • Import and editing of AVCHD in CS4 video sequences with a 32-bit Windows computer

I have a question about AVCHD video:

We have some AVCHD (.mts) sequences, we filmed with a Sony HXR-NX30.

Is it possible to import, edit and export (on DVD) this sequence ".mts" with Premiere CS4 in a reasonable quality?

I have a 32-bit windows computer, and want to know before you buy such a video editing program.

    Thank you

    Never found CS4 buggy.

You can import avchd in CS4, but being on a machine 32 bits edition will be slow.

You will have to restore everything in the timeline.

    =======================================
If you're running Vista Home Premium or Ultimate, you can
be able to import files into Movie Maker directly from the
DVD... the files you want are in the VIDEO_TS folder and have
    a VOB extension.

Also... the info is maybe worth a visit:

DVD Movie Maker 6... in Vista Home Basic
    http://www.Papajohn.org/newsletters/185-DVDtoMM6inVistaHomeBasic.html

When you insert the DVD in your DVD player... close
all the windows that can open and then go to... Start /.
Computer... right click the icon for the DVD player
is in, and then select Explorer.

The files you need from the DVD are the. VOB files.
You will find them in the VIDEO_TS folder. Copy them
in a folder on your hard drive.

First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to
. MPG or .avi and see if it will matter in Movie Maker.
If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...
Re - import new video film for editing purposes.

(FWIW... you can probably play the files renamed
in Windows Media Player to be sure that VOB
    file to edit)

If you are unable to import the files they need to be converted
another .wmv format would be a good choice.
The following free Converter may be helpful.

System restore point before installing new software)

After installing the program GREAT... open...
you will see two small circles at the top left
corner of the screen... check the UPPER circle.

Now... Drag/Drop your. VOB files in the current field.

    Output container... Choose wmv...

Video scale size / no change

    Left, click the Encode button.

Choice: A Simple Profile / OK...

    Wait...

(FWIW... I have better luck with video if I'm not
try to multi-task while a file is being converted)

When the file is converted, you should find it in...
Program Files / eRightSoft / Super / exit.

Or... you can type... CTRL + T.. o open the Save
Window and choose a backup folder.

    converted)

  • 2nd monitor problems with Photoshop CS4 and CC

I'm on a quest to solve a problem with my second monitor when using Photoshop. When I hit F in photoshop to switch between display modes or when I Zoom in or out this happens:

    IMG_2010.JPG

OK, well it is turned on its side, but you get the point. Until very recently, I used OS x 10.6.8 with Photoshop CS4 with no problems but ran into some problems with applications etc so I upgraded to Yosemite. That's when the problem started. In order to solve what I did a clean install of Mavericks in the hope that Yosemite was too new and that he had not brought bugs. Then I reinstalled CS4 there more this problem, but another problem just as boring. the profile for the 2nd monitor appears so desaturated and terrible that I can't use it to edit, despite several attempts to recalibrate.

Out of curiosity I tried the trial of CC in Photoshop to see if the problem of mosaic has been fixed, but it wasn't. Right now looked at color, but mosaic problem. Here is the info on my computer:

    Screen Shot 2015-02-04 at 4.01.28 PM.png

I changed in system preferences > energy saver > graphics for better quality, but nothing has changed. In Photoshop, I tried Preferences > performance > the GPU settings > advanced settings > changed in Basic drawing and that did not solve the problem either. Any ideas?

10.10 MacOS still has a number of video driver bugs, some causing display corruption and others causing accidents.

Apple is aware of these driver problems and work on solutions.

Turning off the use of Photoshop GPU can help.

But if you need the GPU features, you can return to a stable version of MacOS.
