  I'm looking for tips, pointers, directions... to be able to perform this operation in TS 4.0 sequence Editor, if it is still possible...

  I am managing a test system with an abstraction of virtual instruments 'home-made' additional layer to IVI classes for instruments that have no defined classes, customization of the sequence editor accordingly for the developers of my Department.

  So basically, when the instrument is IVI, the developer uses the built-in type of stage IIA type and when it is not the case, it uses the types of custom step I developed for this particular category of instruments.

  However there are classes where I both IVI and available specific drivers and I have to use both in the test sequence.

  For example, let's say there are two DC power sources available in the test bench, including a programmable IVI compatible DC power and the other composed of 'blocks' fixed to DC power relay-driven external and you will need to use both in the test sequence.

  I want to be able to do in the sequence editor is the insertion of appropriate during the editing just level type by selecting the power source (by a ring or an enum for example) and if the first resource is selected, it inserts the type of stage IIA, and if the second resource is selected, it inserts the appropriate custom step type.

  I don't know exactly when you plan this next prompt, but one option is to create a personalized with a custom step step type named OnNewStep.   I'm developing some types of custom step and I don't want the developer of the sequence to be able to change them.   If they are connected as long as developer and not admin, you can change the privileges > configure > change types to false.

  In your type of custom step, set the property to TS. SData.Trace on 'Off' (without the quotes).

  I ran into a problem when you create a custom query for an approval step on a workflow application. When I assign approvers relief on request STANDARD (for example, the Manager of the recipient) and approval step is not no matter what approvers based on the query, the approvers of rescue are showing correctly and demand goes to the approvers of relief role. However, when I try to do the same to a custom query, approval step shows no approving relief and the workflow is interrupted.

  I compared OOTB a single approval procedure custom and see no difference, both have only one query and both work when some users match the query. But when no user is the emergency request approvers only work for OOTB application.

  All the world experiences anything like this in v 7.0.1? Is this a bug?

  5. Replace Firefox.

  Freshly generated means rename or delete the localstore.rdf original while Firefox is down, restart Firefox and customize your toolbars as you want.

• iPhone 6 won't play the custom ring tone, lack of parts only

  My husband 6 (v9.2) IPhone has stopped playing its purchased, custom ringtone in the last week.  He is certainly on the personalized ring, we have turned on/turned off the phone twice, and yet he won't play, despite being put on the custom ring tone.  I've seen other similar messages, but no definitive answers.  Very annoying that he cannot hear his favorite ringtone that we paid a lot of money for.

  I have this problem as well. You appear to affect ringtones purchased after the 9.2 update. In my case, all my new ringtones Star Wars BB-8 go silent. A temporary solution is to connect your iPhone to iTunes and remove all ringtones and then re - sync. It should start working again. I noticed that when you restart your iPhone, the problem reappears and the steps above should be repeated.

• Stimulus profile stops logging immediately (custom steps)

  Greeting together again! I use the 2012 here all versions (VS TS, LV and tiara), and I also use for TS VS Custom steps. I have a TS main sequence that does all the work of configuration and custom installation via subsequences and steps VS. The only thing I use the profile of Stimulus for connects at this point, and for some reason any resultant TDMS file holds only six data points (record at 100 Hz). It seems that it starts and stops immediately, and I can't understand why.

There is no step, newspaper stop, so logging should not stop until the TS of the sequences of the project undeplous, as far as I understand it.   I want to write an elegant solution in LabWindows-CVI to accomplish the same thing as what I implemented in LabVIEW.

  The client does not use or do not own LabVIEW.  I have to code the solution in the CVI.

  Order to simpify the explanation of what it is that I try to do, I wrote a small example in LabVIEW (see below):

  

  The code needs to parse a string to determine which data column includes unpaired.  To do this, I first removed the unwanted text on the top and bottom.  I also removed the extra space between the 2 groups of data by replacing the two separated by one to facilitate the next step.  The result string has been converted to a table 2D-string.  Only the columns you want to search for remained (total of 16 columns).  Table 2D has been transposed as the table 1 d of research searched each line, I want to look in each column.  2D table transposed in its entirety was sought of all no corresponding values, which fills a table 1 d of boolean.  I converted the table 1 d of boolean to a number to see if data 'no match' has been found.  If none have been found, the value would be zero.

  I need help to encode this in CVI.

  Ray, aspect string makes me think that it's a memory dump, while I designed a solution that analyzes the values of the whole of the chain and operates on them, instead of working on the string itself. Take a look at the attached example which should be what you're looking for. feel free to add comments or ask for clarification on some instructions if you need.

• Custom step problem

  I have a number of custom steps (not inherited, no source code) that we use with TestStand 3.0 and 3.5 versions.  I'm trying to import them into TestStand 4.1, but I have problems.  I know that the location of the files has changed under TestStand 4.x.  They used to live in the TestStand folder, now they live in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 4.1\Components.  I copied all the DLLs, INI, ICO, files in the correct folders, but some of the measures do not appear in the context menu when you add a step.  I have added custom, four steps two I have visible, two are not.

  The management mode that Custom steps has changed in the TS 4.1?

  Have you added your pallets of type under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 4.1\Components\TypePalettes?

  Your pallets of type and the types of step appear in the Palette of Document Type?

  You may also right-click on the palette to insert a step and choose Customize... to update where your step types appear in the Insert palette.

• How to analyze the data of the cDAQ and Signal Express, especially after analysis?

  In the first series of tests of my instrument, it took longer than expected for the race.  Thus, the data was saved in 6 days.  The file is too large for export to Excel.  At the beginning of the project, I was as ignorant as I could go ahead and add analysis and the scaling of measures.  By the scaling, I mean my data of switching current dew points or whatever it is that I record.

  How to evolve the data to read the output data as expected 4mA = point of dew of-20 C or 0 PSIG?  Can I pre program this to be recognized for each event?

  For real analysis I am doing – I would first analyze the data I recorded and choose different points to send to Excel to graph and analyze.  Is this possible?

  Secondly, I would like to know how to scale and analyze my data in the project without having to do this later analysis in the future?

  I have a cDAQ-9172 with LabVIEW signal Express 3.0 that uses four modules - 9211 2 modules of thermocouple, my 4-20 1-9201 module +/-10V module and 1-9203.
