Analyze the demo - Normal improved vs Mode

My PC has done an update for Windows 8, and now the screen is in demo Mode with half of it being in normal mode and the other half in enhanced mode. Where can I change this?

Thanks for the quick reply, it was a setting on my monitor. We were able to change back to the normal mode using the touch buttons on the screen, rather than via the control panel.

    Hello

    The demo 'mode' issue has already been discussed in this thread:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=72362

    As reported by another user, the reset should help resolve this problem.
    You will get a list of Toshiba service issues that are necessary to improve the service. You have to accept that and then you should be able to connect to the TV of cloud

    Hello there is a problem with this laptop, the work of keyboard in the bios and in safe mode and during my convalescence... but it does not work in normal mode. (F12 wifi light is white)

    Thank you very much

    model: 15-r203nv rev: 2213-120 products: L0E81EA #AB7

    Hello

    The fact that it does not work with a clean install starts to point to some kind of hardware problem, although it is strange that he will run in Mode without failure.

    Click with the right button on the taskbar, select Manager tasks, click the Startup tab - right click on each entry in turn and select Disable.  Once completed, restart the computer and see if there is no change.

    An update of the bios (F.39 Rev.A) is also available on the Product Page , which can be useful if you have not already done it - if you decide to apply, make sure you unplug all the devices (including the usb keyboard) before starting the update.

  • How to analyze the data of 10 bytes encoded in the HH306 of Omegatte data logger/thermometer?

    I am trying to write a simple code for a HH306 of OMEGAETTE thermometer/travailleursduweb.com data recorder.

    That is the problem. I communicate with the device via RS - 232, using Labview 8.5.1 and windows xp. I ask her for "all the coded data", which is actually the only option. He returns 10 bytes of encoded data, the manual describes the meaning of each byte and I understand that. The problem is that I can't analyze the information for use in labview, for example: I want to extract the temperature and simply display it.

    on request, I get: 10bytes (read as a string from the serial port read buffer): display HEX: 02 00 A8 48 FF EF B6 49 B6 03 is perfect, and what I expect.     Display codes: \02\00\A8\B6H\FF\EF\B6I\03 The Normal display is a series of special characters, I don't understand, especially since I don't think they are ascii characters that must match returned hexadecimal numbers!   For the life of me, I can't understand how to extract the information (what are the 48 6 hexadecimal display) of what is returned. All string manipulation functions seem to work only on what is given in Normal view. (The 4th and 5th byte of the data are the codes of the BCD for temperature: for example the temperature was 64.8 degrees farenheight when I took this reading).

    Can someone help me to analyze the data returned by this device?

    Ok... I think that I thought about it. I found this: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/77C8F61D36F5A23086256634005ACB38?OpenDocument.

    I guess the normal display garbled is corresponding to each hexadecimal ascii characters. I'm just not used to seeing characters beyond the decimal number 127 ascii or hex 7F.

    So, basically, to analyze the 10 bytes of data:

    (1) break the string read from the serial port in the 10 ascii characters (using String subset vi)

    (2) son of each output string in the left input of 10 separate Type vi Cast.

    (3) wire a constant U8 in each terminal 'type' VI Type Cast.

    cables of 4) the chain of each Cast of Type vi output to the input of a number hexadecimal string vi.

    (5) concatenate or use as you wish as hexadecimal numbers (now in string format) which cause.

    See you soon.

  • Why the Sony A7 in M mode only-2 or + 2 in the light meter, not give up to the - 5 or + 5

    IM starting to expand my skills for photo shooting more and as much as I can using the Mr. I realized that the light meter will typically from-5 to + 5. During shooting in mode M, the indicator does move to the number of +-2 position, so between-2 and -5, + 2 or + 5 indicator disappears. Is it a setting or feature that I missed, seems to be a waste if I can't really control the complete appearance in M mode.

    Hi wesleyhall08,

    Welcome to the community of Sony!

    When shooting in M mode, the meter that you are related to the is the manual counter, which is located in the lower center of the screen between opening and ISO. This watch-2 or + 2 only and normally will blink to let you know if the picture you take is already underexpose or overexpose. He's not going to-5 or + 5 and it's normal.

    When shooting in other modes as a mode or S on the other hand, this light meter becomes exposure value. This means that you can change the exposure of the image by changing the value and it will-5 to + 5. Note that when you press the Fn key and change the value of exposure it allows you to move from-5 to + 5. But when the camera is set to M mode and you press the Fn key, notice that the EV is changed in MM and is grayed out choices. This means that you will meter the camera manually by adjusting the shutter speed and aperture. The MM or meter manual serves as a guide to whether the exhibition is balance, underexpose or overexpose when you use mode 0 M. you gives a balanced exposure, -1-2 gives you underexposed and + 2 + 1 gives you over-exposed image. + 2 flashes, this means that the image is overexposing way and if it flashes-2, it means that the images is much too dark.

  • 24 Gz, the transceiver casuse in safe mode reboot

    Buy a panel of key wireless mouse and Microsoft.  When I inserted the 24 Ghz transceiver into the USB port to connect the these with my PC, the screen is empty and restarted at the start screen, and then to a black blank screen, which has asked if I wanted to restart normally or in Mode safe mode with some other options.  Even if I ask him to restart normally, it keeps going back to the 4 choices.  Once I remove the transmitter/receiver, it starts normally.  Anyone have any ideas on that.  Also tried a transceiver from a Logitech Keyboard with the same result.  Two of these transceivers has worked well in other units in my office.

  • Anyone have information about the software to improve the performance of a computer called "MECHANICAL SYSTEM"

    original title: windows xp

    has anyone information about the software to improve the performance of a computer called "MECHANICAL SYSTEM"?

    It is located on the website at WWW.IOLO.COM.

    Maybe someone of expertise of knowledge about this software?   or maybe someone has experience with this product?

    There is a similar product, without the costs?

    DO NOT BUY OR INSTALL "SYSTEM MECHANIC".

    IT will bog your system with errors, which would mean probably a complete restoration of your system.

    Dell recommends and sells it from their technical support group and SHAME on THEM for DOING SO.

    THIS SOFTWARE IS A TRAGEDY IN THE MAKING.

    Go to PC Mag reviews and you will see for yourself that there is a very LOW RATING and under normal conditions, you need software to mess with your registry.

    I know someone who has installed this program and we always try to fix all of the errors generated by mechanical system.

    We did a complete restoration and stil having problem.

    Thus he PURCHASE a CERTAINLY DO NOT GOLD INSTALLER CE PROGRAM.

  • Won´t work of the detonators (connect) in MTP mode / winamp disorder

    Edit: re-installed winamp and tadaaa: recognized mtp device. BUT: as soon as winamp has loaded, it crashes. Winamp simply closed, no error message, nothing. PLEASE, I BEG YOU! Any program to manage the * beep * playlists! (any prog that doesn´t just crash)

    I tried to connect in MSC and that works perfectly, but almost all of my stuff is saved in MTP mode via mediaplayer (which is exactly what will not work) and I want at least to remove. The player is revision 1, firmware version V01.02.26E and I am trying to use it under XPsp2. I have tried several mediaplayers, same result: will not work. Is it possible to control less and access the files saved in MTP mode with ANY program? Reverend last firmware enabled to use normal folders as you now so no need overall of the PSG-crap anyway. OK, I was able to just cables it and be done with it, but then the data I want to keep is also party. Please tell me West a way to solve this problem without putting in the shape of the cursed thing. Once again: if I switch to MTP and just plug it in NOTHING happens. Winamp simply said: no portable device connected.

    FOUND a SOLUTION! WMP10 is the way. (or at least now it works) I installed WMP10, then is gone to the materiel management where he showed the "rocket" with a yellow questionmark, right click, reinstall the driver, search online and go. He found something online, installed and my winamp trotted. Can I change all the stuff normally. Looks like it s only the WMP11 DURATION as f * s autour in the background. Here´s what you need to do: ditch WMP11 and WMP11 runtime via management software (if that damn profane your hard drive), drivers for PSG in the management of the gap material, get and install WMP10, then go to hardware management and would search for drivers online. Install these drivers, start winamp and you need is winamp with the support of the PSG. HA, I m proud of me.

  • Programs can not be started, or no response after the computer was not awake mode "Eve"

    Dear Sir.

    My lap top is under the VISTA system. Now the problem is that all programs can not be started or no response after the computer was not awake mode "Eve". I have to restart the computer to recover the computer to normal state.

    Please please let me have your advice to return to my email address: * email address is removed from the privacy *.

    Thank you very much!

    Eric

    Hi Eric,.

    You can follow these steps:

    Step 1: perform a clean boot to verify if an application or service is causing the problem.

    See this article for more information on the clean boot:
    How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
     http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Steps to perform a clean boot:
    a. click the ORB start on your desktop
    b. type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
    c. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
    d. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
    e. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box and then click Disable all.
    f. click OK.
    g. When prompted, click on restart.

    NOTE: Please check that you start the computer in normal mode after a repair. Follow step 7 article.

    Step 2: Configure the power settings for keyboard, mouse, and other devices.

    a. Click Start, click Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then click keyboard.
    b. click on the Hardware tab, and then click the properties button.
    c. click Change settings.
    d. click the power management tab and verify that the allow this device to wake the computer is selected.
    e. If "Allow this device to wake the computer" was not selected, select it and click OK.
    Follow the same steps for the mouse as well.

    If the problem persists, disconnect all non-essential devices (printers, scanners, USB drives). Restart the computer with only the original mouse, monitor, and
    connected keyboard. If this solves the problem of sleep/wake, one of the devices was causing the problem. Replace a device at a time and test to see if the
    problem occurs again. Continue adding devices and testing until you find the device that causes the problem.

    Refer to this article for additional troubleshooting steps.

  • Won't start at all. just a black screen. Only the satrts upward on safe mode

    Won't start at all. just a black screen. Only the satrts upward on safe mode

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.
    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
  • Unable to connect to the internet, except in safe mode
    I worked with the cable co and co wireless router and they said that I must have some settings on my computer that let me access the internet unless in safe mode.  It seemed to have happened right after that I tried to hang a new wireless router.  Once I followed the steps for the wireless router, I got a message that there is no internet connection.  I know that the modem works, because I can hard wire on my laptop and log in safe mode with network and be well.  There must be a setting that I did not find, but which must be modified to allow access to the internet the way "normal".  Anyone have any ideas?
  • Can I downloaded the demo of Photoshop CC for the second time?
    I downloaded the demo of Photoshop CC last summer, but decided not to subscribe.  Is it possible to download another trial, if there is a feature in a future update I would try before you sign up?  It has been suggested that you can provide 30 days have elapsed since the previous trial.  Is it true?.
    Not normally, but I think that they reset the CC trial a while back because of some new features. Try it and see.
    And actually when you think about it that it is a logical side effect of the CC model. It makes sense to give from time to time to give people the chance to try the new features (which previously would have been in different versions).
  • run to analyze the ratio is 49 any problem
    Hello
    run to analyze the ratio is 49 any problem?
    I guess that you are looking at a Statspack or AWR report?
    First, it is important to understand what is the Execute ratio analysis.
    It is calculated as:
    round(100*(1-:prse/:exe),2)
    So the idea is, for a given SQL statement, in an ideal world, analyze you once and run it several times. If you do this, your analysis Execute ratio will tend towards 100%. 100% is a "perfect score".
    You analyze more, compared to the executions, the ratio will fall. If you analyze once per run, your analysis Execute ratio will increase to 0%. It's not good, but it could actually be even worse than that. Some applications of brain dead actually do an analysis more than executions. If this happens, your analysis Execute ratio will be negative.
    Thus, the 49 is "bad"? What is bad? Well, it depends. While it is true that any analysis Execute ratio that is less than 90 could potentially be improved, the question really is how much that will benefit your system?
    So, you should ask yourself a few questions. First of all, you have even a probem performance? If not, then any effort spent tuning system is almost certainly a waste of time. If you do have a performance problem, you should be profiling critical, in order to analyse and understand business processes where they spend their time. If one or more, bad execution, critical business process spends too much time on the analysis, then it may be worth looking at what is happening.
    In general, such as Parse Execute, buffer cache hit ratios, etc., are almost never useful in isolation. However, if all you have is an AWR or Statspack report, and you try to understand if the ratio Execute analysis needs attention, then you should look at some other numbers in the report. Review the Top 5 timed events; If none of them have nothing to do with the analysis? If this isn't the case, then the analysis probably isn't a problem. Look at % of the Non-Parse CPU; If it is very high, said in the early 1990s, almost certainly analysis isn't a problem important, so who cares about the Parse Execute ratio?
    Finally, if you do think that, in your case, Execute ratio analysis is a problem, it is important to know that the only way to improve it is by reducing the number of analysis or to increase the number of executions. And, the only way to change the number of analysis or executions, by changing the client program. There is no instance level control or a parameter that will have an impact on this statistic.
    Hope that helps you understand how to interpret this statistic,
    -Mark
