• I hate the android keyboard

  I used google voice a lot which means I was txting one storm since I have this tablet (about a month now since the release)

  My rants, it's that I really despise the AutoComplete. I tried gokeyboard also and it seems just as bad. I know part of the problem is we can't follow with how fast I type, but even when I slow it sucks just major ass.

  Try not to bash (because I always intend to use this device) but compared to my windows phone does not compare the AutoComplete. Is there an alternative? For example on my Winphone, I rarely if EVER send typos in your emails or text. And with this tablet, it is very common. Here's a simple example

  I've tried spelling geeze about 5 times and he kept suggesting / auto fill "itself" rather than "geeze" and I have disabled AutoComplete after feature space etc.

  How to work on android keyboards. They are responsible for AutoComplete, or they are good for different page layouts?

  How much of my hate comes

  (1) android suck in auto complete vs

  (2) screen touch lenovo is of lower quality

  And is there a solution, so I do understand not so frustrated?

  Are what tablet you referring?  HP made several now.

  If it's the Slate7, you can erase it and start again by turning it off, then hold down the power button / stop, HIGH volume, and volume DOWN until you see a menu text.  Release the buttons.

  Navigate using the volume button and select "wipe data / factory reset".  Scroll down to "Yes."... "on the next screen.

  You should have a Slate7 brand new when it finishes.

• Android keyboard works do not - any help gratefully received

  I just bought an asus TF700 for home and to use for the job.  Really satisfied with the product,

  Access the table of work top of page with the software vQuest, countertop came without problem but the keyboard dock has not answered, at least numbers responded and came on the screen, the mouse worked, but all letters are dead, i.e. press a letter nothing on the screen.  When detached from the keyboard screen appears and works very well.  Anyone know if I can fix it myself or a central fix is needed?  The OS is Android ice scream sandwich.

  Is this due to a Web site? Through Webaccess, you can change that setting so I have previous it connected as a default. The default id is 280761.

  In the meantime, the solution is to connect through the vworkspace application itself.

  Your Admins may allow a direct access via the vWorkspace app. If they do that, the keyboard works (and they can still set to use an RSA token)

  They may have allowed this already so you better asking them how to add and configure the farm through the App.

• No keyboard when running Android BlackBerry 10 Simulator application

  I have my first Android app running on the Simulator BB10 Dev Alpha (10.0.10.261), which works well, other that the keyboard does not appear. My application contains code to show and hide the keyboard at opportune moments, but this does not display on the BB10 Simulator (works fine on Android devices). Is this a bug with the Simulator? Has anyone else had correctly show/hide the BB10 to their Android keyboard?

  He had some problems with the management framework of the Android inputs on older simulators.

  Try it on the most recent 10.2.1 simulator (https://developer.blackberry.com/android/tools/) operating system or newer (https://developer.blackberry.com/devzone/blackberry10devalpha/devalpha_update.html) and see if you can reproduce here.

• Slate 7: not silent keyboard

  in the General settings I turned off the sound when you touch"(Tone EIB Beruhrung). It works fine except when you use the keyboard: he the sound continues unless I put the full slate on mute.

  Go to settings > language and input. Press the button to the right of the Android keyboard settings. Uncheck the sound on keypress.

  If you have any keyboard additional apps installed (I use CooTek), you may also need to check the settings to disable the keyboard when you use app.

• AT100 - after ICS upgraded the Swype App keyboard does not load

  Just upgrade my AT100 at ICS.
  Everything seemed OK until I have to enter text, and then got an error message indicating "open English WE failed."

  Changed to the Android keyboard and that works fine, but prefer to use Swype.
  Any suggestions?

  Hi, have you tried a factory reset? Restoration of ICS to its factory State should solve the problem.

  Also is there a way to disable the default android keyboard? It is grayed out so I can't do anything with it.

  Not sure about your first question, the second question is easy. Tap Settings > App > all > keyboard Android (AOSPS) > disable. It will even remove it of all parameters. I hope this helps.

• Cannot type data or input on the keyboard of the Xoom

  I recently ran into an issue where I'm going to enter the information in the Google search box or bar web address Chrome and I get no response. The keyboard appears (swiftkey for Tablet) and I can type but not character. I thought it was a swiftkey issue, but when I switched to the stock Android keyboard, still nothing. I thought it might be a problem of Chrome as well, but when I tried to enter the data in the address bar of the stock browser, nothing appears or the other. I did some research on the net and the best remedy I found was to clear the cache in settings > app > all > android keyboard and then perform a soft reset. This gene has occurred over 3 times in the last week and honestly, I haven't the time to empty the cache and perform a soft reset every time he decides a malfunction. Everyone knows about this problem? Is there a fix permanent/remedy?

• Question about phone and / or Android 1.5

  I am a heavy Texter and text on a daily basis, probably an average of about 250 + texts per day. Also, I noticed and I took County, after about 4 hours of texting the android keyboard and also the swype keyboard, affecting the time key to key response starts to slow down and get slow and ultimitely is unbearable to the text with. Even with the home screen and sliding screens from left to right, and as I said it doesn't happen only after some hours of use of the phone. So, I have to restart the phone and repeat for it keep to become lazy and unbearable to text with. I usually reset every morning or when I wake up. This is nothing compared to my sisters Mytouch, which is in fact older than my phone, it can affect his day at the time and not get done with the delayed touch response. I also noticed that his phone is running Android 1.6.

  Now my concern is, if I'm the only one knows this or is it due to a defective phone. What is the Android obsolete 1.5 that many people are talking about who is performing on the phone in this way.

• TPT folio case Icelandic keyboard

  I just got the keyboard for my TPT folio case. I'm very expressed my keyboard itself but finds it difficult to get a trace of Icelanders to work for her.
