  I can made a bad impulse buy.  I bought a RSV4000 for the only reason that I was hoping that I could simply put in place a vpn user id and password and easily connect my iphone and android for my home network when I am absent.  Some of my apps are lots of my local ip and dns scheme. After a full night of reading, I just learned that the VPN connection requires a client or another router.   If I'm right, I need to buy another router to do this.  What would be the easiest to put in place.  I don't want to rely on my windows or the apple servers for the connection, so I want to completely manage the router.

  Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi John, it's probably not the router for you. I would recommend something like the RV042 for the PPTP service. This will make your life a little better.

  Here's how our box of the LATTER is configured:

  On a computer windows laptop (using port 443), I can log in fine, I get the Web page of vWS, I can connect, then I can see my apps and I can click the launch successfully.

  I can connect on my android or iPhone, fine (using port 47443), I can connect to the app of vWS, I can see my apps, but when I try and click on one to start, I get a "there are no available terminal server to connect at this time.  Please report this message to your administrator systom.  It's using the same user, so I know that the application is configured correctly because it works very well on a laptop.

  Any ideas what I did wrong?  In the android/iPhone app in the location settings I set it up like this:

  Dealer name / IP:

  TCP Port Broker: 47443

  NAT: checked

  RDP over SSL: checked

  The secure gateway name/IP:

  I understand that it is a different game for each platform, but I was wondering if anyone here lived in app making use of Flash has any advice to develop for two platforms with minimal changes to the code - it means not having to change your main base code too and Moreover, what you find you should not change between platforms?

  I am particularly interested in catering for different size screens. Ideally, I'd like the app to stretch to fit the screen for example great iPhone/iPad/Android etc, but keep its proportions. But I noticed in the demo applications in the book, you stipulate the window for example;

  Just use stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.ShowAll.
