Animate CC javascript

How to join a variable in a different movieclip.

I av variable name (var foo = 1 ;) in the top level and I video call ball to the stadium.)

In the movieclip ball I whant to get access to foo. Small jets is the syntax for that?

Is there a way to declere a global variable in javascript html5/canvas?

Looks like it is the question of the day. Copy-and-paste from another thread...

Here's how variable scope statement works in canvas mode:

var myVar = "ook"; level of the extended frame

this.myVar = 'ook '; scope at the clip level

myVar = "ook"; global scope

    iCall var = AdobeEdge.getComposition("EDGE-172492634").getStage ();

    I'm trying to implement the touch events in my document HTML5 Canvas in CC animate using JavaScript.

    What I want is for a function that will be fired when the user slides to the left or to the right. It would be nice to have a few qualifiers as 30px with 2 fingers shot is when the service goes off too but is not entirely necessary at this stage.

    Initially, I was counting on using jQuery Mobile, but who is the origin of errors.

    Then, I was counting on the use of the jQuery plugins but they do not seem to work - perhaps that my application is disabled.

    I already have jQuery in my work file.

    Hello

    2 errors can be explained as follows:

    [Error] TypeError: undefined is not an object (assessment 'this.data [this.name]')

    [Error] TypeError: undefined is not an object (assessment 'a.data [b.SID]')

    (1) API of the reading edge:. data() is missing.

    Dashboard API: Adobe Edge animate API JavaScript CC

    (2) solutions.

    • You can replace. data() by. attr(),.
    • or you can add jQuery through the edge (the library panel) user interface.
  • visibility of object inside the function handling

    Hello!  It is to animate CC HTML5 Canvas.  I am sure that it is extremely simple, but please explain why does not the following:

    function hideButton() {}

    This.Button.Visible = false;

    }

    hideButton();

    At the same time, running this.button.visible = false; outside the service works very well.

    How can I correct this clip from movie?

    Thank you!

    PS is there a reference library that I can look to animate CC JavaScript?

    It does not work because the event handlers in JavaScript, 'this' by default refers to the window object, not the object that raised the event. Simplest solution is to use bind() when you assign to the event handler (the built-in code snippets illustrate this).

  • Illustrator for graphics

    Hello

    -selection tool
    -Forms
    -type
    -color picker, dropper

    Also, can someone point me to some tips for beginners who want to create computer graphics?

    Thank you very much
    Cristian

    I also did computer graphics that you won't find many in my wallet.

    For the animated graphics, you'll use Illustrator just to build the basic structure. The animation will be in AfterEffects, or with SVG tools, animate CC, JavaScript or other.

    It is possible to use InDesign to animate, but since this isn't its fundamental task, it could get very difficult for complex animations.

    Hi guys,.

    Quick introduction: I am a designer of ad display panic that recently have learned of the death of Adobe Edge animate.

    Just trying to familiarize myself with Adobe animate to than me and my designers can have a tool of support going forward.

    Any kind soul please tell me the Adobe's Flash / Adobe Edge following behaviors animate animate CC Javascript solutions (I usually reached via the menu "excerpts"):

    Selection of Action: Mouse enter

    Hi Peter,.

    If you write the code in the main timeline of your project, you can also reference pointer 'this' as exportRoot (which is a global variable already defined). It's like the root of your project and any other symbols or graphics can be referenced as his children.

    for example: exportRoot.SymbolName;     refers to a symbol placed on the main timeline.

    exportRoot.getChildAt (0);     refers to the child at the top of the page

    Your code can be used like this:

    exportRoot.StopPlanet.addEventListener ("click", fl_MouseClickHandler);

    function fl_MouseClickHandler()

    {

    exportRoot.Planet10.stop ();

    }

    With the code in the javascript, my publication settings dialog box has changed to look like this:

    I don't know how the publication process is designed to work because this is my first attempt. But notice that I can not deselect the JavaScript/HTML checkbox. Also, I can't say Animate where I want the OAM to publish file. With everything you see above, when I publish, Animate produces Javascript/HTML files in the above selected location. It took me a few moments to find the OAM file which I found, in the same folder as the FLA file.

    The process feels a little hand intuitive because I thought that I should be able to specify the location of the OAM and wasn't expecting to see what whatsoever for Javascript/HTML output. In this case, I don't need and can't use the output of Javascript/HTML.

    When you publish as OAM packet, it requires the Javascript/HTML also option to activate and so you will not be able to deselect.

    And once you click on the option package OAM in the left column, you can view several options related to the OAM publish as select generated output for OAM folder.

    Hi, if you want to select other symbols on your stage try to click on the button 'step' (in your screenshot)

    and if you have other symbols/objects on the stage that they must complete.  The case according to what you wish to achieve with the click function, you might want to learn how edge works with these objects.  Visit: Adobe Edge animate CC JavaScript API for more information on how to symbols of the target within other symbols.  You can also find out where the symbols are in their independent timelines with something like this (in the compositionReady):

    {sym.getSymbol("unravel_problem").$("exampleFirst").click (function ()}

    If (sym.getComposition () .getStage ().getSymbol("exampleSecond").getPosition () > 5) {}

    Alert ("position is greater than 5");

    } //this ends the if statement

    });

    If you want to manage several symbols/animations with click functions, it may be preferable to make use of the compositonReady function.

    Hello

    One-way ticket could be you zoom in on mouseover and zoomout on mouseout/mouseouthandler() by increasing the width and the height of the image or the specific review item.

    MouseOver-

    SYM. $("img") .animate ({width: "200px", height: "200px"}, "slow");

    mouseout/mouseouthandler()-

    SYM. $("img") .animate ({width: "100px", height: "100px"}, "slow");

    Thank you and best regards,

  • Way to disable the action if another action is executed

    I'm new to both animate and Javascript/Jquerey please bare with me if I do not explain it well or with the correct terminology.

    Basically what I'm trying to do is have a page where when you scroll over a div/symbol, it develops (by using the mouseenter action) and then contracts (mouseleave action).  I can get this animation works... kind-it hiccups when you move the mouse quickly top, causing animations sometimes lock in the State of evil, but the problem I have is when I try to add a click to the div.

    The idea, in a nutshell, is that when you click on the image, everything on the page fades and then news comes without the need to reload the page.  The thing is, whenever the content begins to fade or hide after the click is executed, action "mouseleave" on div triggers, reset the page.

    So long story short, is possible to make a div click disregard all other actions while the animation happens?  I've tried several "solutions" but none of them are perfect aren't really easy.

    More if anyone has suggestions or advice on the contribution of the bearing and off animations do not occasionally get stuck when you move the mouse quickly on it, also I would really appreciate that.

    Thank you.

    Hi, Eric.

    You can try saving the States using variables.  It is a technique I described in my blog since last year, relying on an independent schedule.  Search for "State management":
