Animation - what Illustrator, I should use?

I have Illustrator as part of master CS6, I bought for InDesign, Photoshop, and first. While using the first, I had to draw regularly on yet and Adobe After Effects, Audition, but I have yet to open Illustrator. I hope someone here can save me time advised me if Illustrator is suitable for my purposes. I'm not a professional, just a passionate amateur, but I don't want to use software quality and the equipment to do the best job that I can.

Background

I use first mainly to convert my audio-visual presentations to the HD format. In the 1980s, I was just in slideshows of three screens. It will be a challenge to transform a 4.5:1 16:9 format, but as my partner says it will keep me out of mischief. As part of the transformation, I will be the introduction of a small number of video clips (where my need of creation) and also short animation sequences, probably 10 seconds maximum. I have little idea of what software to use for the animation, but all the software in my collection of what Adobe illustrator seems at least to have the right name, so here I am.

A few thoughts

I have a friend, Steve, a watercolor and sketch artist, and he's very anxious to get into the animation. Showed me a few short films he did on his iPad with his finger. I told him: 'we can do better than that. " My idea is:

Buy a Wacom Cintiq 22HD with all the fancy pens, plug it into an iMac and open the appropriate software.
Sit Steve in front of the Cintiq and let it go.
Steve wields the pen to generate the outline of the first image. No coloring in, not background at this point, just a "test in pencil" kind of thing. Something like the sketches of Chuck Jones for a Road Runner cartoon, except best (I can dream, I can't?)
Steve could generate 24 fps for smooth movement, but we could decide to take only 12 (or 8) per second and software have interpolated for missing executives - if possible.
When we are satisfied by the "pencil test", the background and coloring are made.
When finished, the project is imported to the Prime Minister to be part of the audiovisual sector.

Illustrator or something else?

Illustrator is suitable for what we want to do? If this is not the case, what would be the most suitable software? We won't make things complicated as the 3D animations, simple - a character in motion in a context that may also be moving.

Illustrator is not suitable for it.

According to the style of the last animation, you can use illustrator to build assets to animate in another program like flash. but of the adobe family, flash is what you are looking for.

I haven't used in a while so I don't know how the sketch is good about it. will touch you with vectors so there not all the charm of a pencil test. but there skins chronologies and onion and twin animated for animations of transformation as something that cross the screen, rotation, morphing, etc. scaling.

Flash animations tend to look very steep in my opinion. the best example I can think of a flash animation, which is not without a soul would be 2d sequences in kung fu panda.

There are programs that are better suited for traditional animation (at least in sensation). Totally forgot that I used at school. I mean flipbook. anyway. for pencil tests in my opinion really improtant is the drawing of the sensation. There are a lot of animation 2d there software but they are for the most part any vector and offer not bitmap of good drawing tools.

at school, we used to draw on paper and photography. Some people spent about things like toon boom, which I do not remember if it is the only vector drawing.

I chose to photoshop which is very heavy for animation because of the configuration, but fantastic for natural drawing. everyone in class thought I hosted with pencils and markers of China.

I say that the configuration is painful because your executives are about layers. If you find yourself with hundreds of layers. I then changed the opacity of my layers of onion. the timeline was also a pain because you really do a bit of math to get the right images per second. I ended up losing a few images in the final product. as you build your layers, the preview of the animation slows down.

anyway. My 2 cents. FlipBook has bitmap drawing tools such as photoshop, but as I remember, they were not that great. It also allows access to photoshop to draw you into photoshop and updates of fram inside flipbook. It would have been ideal, but at the time, it kept crashing on me when I tried it. I don't know if they fixed.

.mov is not a format very widely compatible. Anyone who designs will require a third-party video player, such as Apple's QuickTime. A better solution is to save all in another format, such as .mp4. (Keep in mind that I know almost nothing about iPhones). Maybe you could use a Media Converter. (be careful with these)

Well, looks like you have a copy of the full version of Windows 7, go just to do a clean install on the new hard drive and turn it back on by phone.

I recently spent from mac to PC and must make files to use on my machines to editors who are pimps. I need to know what output parameters, I should use to pull them into my graphics without any problem and must also ensure that the alpha channels are also available in the CF.

It's a QuickTime .mov file. Now, you can do it is a PNG with AE sequence if you wanted, but I didn't think this is what you wanted. Select QuickTime as the format and PNG in the codec section. If you make sure you choose RGB + Alpha in your output module, you will also get your alpha channel.

Hello! I'm currently editing using Adobe Premiere elements 12 gameplay. However, every time I import images, Adobe freezes and basically crashes. I am aware that there are parameters of different project for editing (see image), but I'm not sure which ones I should use.
In any case, the file I'm editing is a 720p30 file that is saved with a HD of Capture of game Elgato. However, despite having chosen AVCHD LITE 720p30 (what I usually chose), the program seems to explode every time I have to import the images. Help? I can add more details if necessary.

Important aspects of your 720p30 files are video compression, audio compression, and file extension. In addition, in this case, the first factor is probably if the video was recorded with a variable or constant cadence.

If you don't know a frame variable or constant rate, then download and install the free program of reading on MediaInfo (tree) properties and look for the 3 frame rates: minimum speed, cadence and frequency of maximum image to confirm the variable rate rather than constant. Just be careful with your choice in the download and install MediaInfo since he is known to travel with unwanted baggage.

Factors in your planning...

First elements 13/13.1 does not support Windows XP, Windows Vista or Mac OS 10.7.

First items 10, 11 or 12/12.1 on a Windows computer is 64-bit application when it is run on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64-bit computer. Otherwise, it's a 32-bit application. This has implications on important it resources, particularly for your biggest projects in Premiere Elements.

Video mobile phone registered with a variable rate is a consideration for any version of Premiere Elements. If your cell phone video shows with audio out of sync and you use the hand brake to correct this condition, you should get good quality of the handbrake H.264.mp4 (just make sure that the export rate is comparable to that of the original in addition to changing the frequency of images to a number (use same as source) and selecting constant for this frame rate).

I'm a little confused about what color modes to use in Indesign. For example, I was convinced that the default color mode is CMYK. However, when I click on the 'race' or 'fill' to bring up the 'Color picker' window 'saw the RGB color space". Is this good? The swatches Panel contains colors CMYK only, so as you can see I'm confused by that.
Another question I have, is if I print an Indesign using CMYK document, however my document contains a photoshop RGB image, how will it be affected? Should I change the RGB image in photoshop to CMYK before points in Indesign?

I see slightly different colors by changing the colors betweenproof and separations preview if I chose a proof profile that differs from the profile of work document. Without seeing your monitor, it is quite difficult to know if what you see is accurate. You asked beforre if a new maonitor is calibrated automatically and the answer, which I forgot to provide, is not. The best way to calibrate and profile your monitor is to buy an instrument, either a spectrophotometer or colorimeter cheaper and software calibration. Here, the standard of the industry seems to be the Gretag McBeth EyeOne colorimeter, which sells for about $200. There are other options of other providers that are less expensive.

On your Mac, I think that the profiles are porbably stored in the ColorSync folder. You can search for files with the .icc extension and you will find them wherever they are.

What color profile is used when uploading to Flickr?

I use the Flickr Lightroom (Version 6.6.1.1083169) come with Lightroom plugin to transfer your photos to Flickr. All my photos are taken in RAW on a Nikon D750 format, converted to DNG on import. I never had any problem with my photos on Flickr, but I was wondering what color profile Lightroom applies to the pictures uploaded on Flickr? Is it possible to upload photos with a different color profile, say Adobe RGB on Flickr? If yes where can I specify it? (If I upload photos with profile Adobe RGB on Flickr, I understand that displays that can not handle the profile might make wrong.)

All things internet should use sRGB as sRGB color space is the internet standard.
