• Problem in Flex Builder user interface after installation of Flex 3

  So, here's an interesting question. And my apologies in advance if it has been reported before. But I spent the greater part of two days, installation / uninstallation / cleaning / resettlement. However, still having the problem with Flex Builder 3:
  
  After the launch of Flex Builder 3, I create a new project and "right click" on the name of the project in the browser in Flex in order to launch the 'Properties' dialog box. " Tab property page resource, various fields are truncated and drop-down list boxes are all jacked. In fact, under the Flex Build Path tab, it is completely empty. Basically, throughout the Flex Builder IDE, I have various missing fields or bizarre behavior.
  
  Then... at this point, I've pretty much uninstalled, uninstalled the JRE (think this is related to java), cleaned the system registry, uninstalled flash players, edited the flexbuilder.ini with one "-clean", installed updates for Vista (so now this system is on SP1) essentially... I have everything humanly possible short of formatting the system again.
  
  Running Windows Vista x 64; 8 GB of RAM; NVidia 8800 video card.
  
  To make sure that I wasn't completely lose my mind... I installed on a portable system and everything ran like a charm. Thus, after traveling through these forums and Google the issue to death... I can't find the answer.

  You're probably also using the logitech SetPoint on Vista x 64 drivers, who have a known conflict with Eclipse 3.3.

  (The 'solution' is one) to get rid of the drivers (but I love my DiNovo Edge keyboard!) or Eclipse use b) 3.4M4 and the plugin. However, it is not entirely taken in charge, so they sometimes issues, especially with design mode, so generally I use FB3 and switch and then run away when I need to change a setting (not optimal, I know, but not as frequent as that, once a day on average for me). Or just edit the parameters with a text editor.

  Or (c) perform virtualization VMWARE etc. and do it all in x 86.

  Looks like you have IIS as the Web server 'by default'.

  Try this http://localhost: 8080

  If that takes you to the Apache Web server, then you must set it as your default.

  News added: it is possible that both are listening on port 80 and IIS is a winner. To reconfigure IIS, open it and site web by default, you must change the site link. Http must be on port 8080.

  If Apache is already set to port 80, then you will not need to do anything else. I think that is fair. I don't know how to set up Apache to listen on port 80 if it is defined on port 8080. I do not have to look at.

  Make sure that you stop and restart your web services.

• Flex Charting 2 with Flex Builder 3

  I recently inherited a codebase that was built on Flex 2 and uses the Flex 2 graphics component. Flex Builder 3 is the only version of the currently available constructor, so what I use, but with "Flex 2.0.1 Hotfix 3" set compiler option.
  
  My problem is that the 'Flex Charting Trial' watermark will still appear on my paintings. I tried to set my Builder serial number 3 in the license.properties file as described in some documents, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
  
  My license of Flex Builder 3 Professional gives the right to me to use the graphics component?
  
  If so, the serial number of my Builder 3 should work for Flex Charting 2?

  This problem has been resolved with the help of Ryan to Adobe technical support. For any other person who suffers from this problem, the resolution is that you need a valid serial number Flex 2 w/graphics to be placed in the file '\sdks\2.0.1\frameworks\license.properties ' on the line ' graphics ='.»»

  To answer my own previous questions:

  Yes, Flex Builder 3 is supposed to give right to me to use the Flex Charting (which is integrated with Flex 3, but was an addon in Flex 2).

  No, the Flex Builder 3 series does NOT work with Flex Charting 2. You need a serial number w/Flex 2 charts.

  To anyone in this position, I would recommend opening case support tech via the web support portal and politely explaining your situation. It took a few days, but when I finally got someone who could help, the resolution was quick.

• Having a problem with Flash Builder and Extension Builder - images not apearing on Mac system

  Have a panel created in Flash Builder 4.5 with Extension Builder 2.1. Everything is fine when it is installed on a PC, but when it is installed on a Mac in the Panel images do not show.

  Mac and PC both using Adobe Photoshop CC. Both installed similarly. ZXP deposit using Adobe Extension Manager CC.

• How to install Cocomo with Flex Builder 3 as an Eclipse plugin

  I got Eclipse 3.4.1 running on my Windows XP computer running and installed a plugin of Flex Builder 3.0.2 .
  Now that I've downloaded Cocomo first wonder where to put the framework since the documentation gives advice only for the standalone installation of FB.
  
  I appreciate some helpful tips.

  Thank you for your help. I almost had with your advice. Put it all together, it is for me:

  (1) create a Adobe ID to https://cocomo.acrobat.com/
  2) unzip CocomoSDK_0.91 and place this directory in your eclipse_install_dir/plugins
  (3) create a new Flex project
  (4) add the eclipse_install_dir/plugins/cocomo... /lib/Player10/AFCS.swc to Flex Build Path / Library in the properties of the project path
  (5) change the Flex compiler / requires Flash Player version to 10.0.0 in the project properties
  (6) adds the code attached like a test application...

• Multiple annoying problems with printing!

  I'm more tired of the problems that I have all of a sudden. I just changed all the ink cartridges in my machine, but for some reason is not printing black. In addition to this I had problems with paper jams! I've never had a problem before, but now all of a sudden I'm getting jams left and right? If the above is not enough to test my patience, I now get into the tail printed after each use and removes the work so that it will pass to the next task. WTH? HP and Mac do not play well together? • Annoying problem with popups on Safari (iOS)

  So I guess I have to call in Help: since a few days, I have an annoying popup the problem that prevents me to properly use Safari on my iPhone 5 (9.2.1). It's one of those 'you have won an iPhone 6 press OK to continue' - scams and it just won't go away.

• Problem with Web Builder and MySQL connection

  I created a web service VI (see picture attached) to connect my Web Builder application with a MySQL database. The problem is that I get nothing on my exit signs during the call to the web service VI.

  Some tests I've done:

  (1) this web service VI works perfectly (I mean indicators 'value', 'status' and 'data_hora' give the desired result) when the VI run directly through LabVIEW. MySQL connection and my VI are OK...

  (2) I know my web service VI was successfully built and deployed because the indicators give me some value if I sign something for them other than my SQL output

  (for example: if I put a string constant "Hello" on indicator "valor" I get "Hello" when calling the web service VI)

  I suppose that the database connectivity kit is not supported when a VI is integrated with a web service VI. In my case, kit screws are inside the subVIs 'start', 'exec 2d' and 'stop' showed in the picture as an attachment.

  Any idea?

• I'm having some annoying problems with my PC, can someone help?

  report number. I could not find "quartz.dll" in a search of my hard drive to find out what is the cause. Restarting my PC did not help. Research online and closing a window telling me to check the updates, and there is not. Research/closing & closing the result in the same thing: the error comes back once more. Over and over again. No matter how many times I close, the error comes once more. And ONLY in the videos folder. If I get a subfolder of the folder videos (for example, where I store my video projects or AMV who made friends) the problem goes away, but hit the back or high or clicking on "videos" in the above address bar will restart the question. If I say NO 'close' the question will NOT report itself again. Minimize the pop-up and continuing on as normal work, but they are becoming very very annoying to deal with every time I have in this file. If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

  I have problems to install the Tablet OS SDK 2.0.0. It says incorrect directory when I select the directory that contains the Flash builder. I tried with v4.0 and v4.5 that I am on windows 7 64 bit.

• Annoying problem with symbols

  When I'm in a scene, and then double-click the symbol on the stage in order to change it, it works except that the background is not grey out as it should. It's, it's more difficult to focus on my symbol which is very annoying. Help?

  Well, I'm editing. I open a file with this problem, copied frames and pasted into a new document. Problem did not exist in the new document. So I started to look for differences. Oddly, the view > preview mode seems to have an effect. When set to Full, the change in place does not diminish the rest of the film. Together in another setting, such as the anti-aliasing text, solves the problem. Obviously, this setting disables the "dim" edit-in-place capability.

  I would like to know if it works for you. I'm curious why this whole shebang has this effect. I saw other comments on this question without answers, so that makes me a learned fool (I am certainly not much less to find that).

• Help, please! Annoying problem with trackpoint x 200!

  I have an x 200 with Win XP Pro. I had a driver for trackpoint uptodate (4.72) and everything worked fine - I was able to change its value in the properties of the mouse (tab TrackPoint). After that the windows update, trackpoint I just crazy. There is still a 4.72 driver installed - it can be seen in the mouse properties, tab TrackPoint is lost so the trackpoint works with the standard slow speed that windows gives to him and there is no advanced settings this tab gives TrackPoint! I noticed that tp4serv.exe, which is supposed to start than the TrackPoint tab is started when windows starts, but the TrackPoint tab isn't as I believe. I discovered that to start tab TrackPoint that I have to manually click tp4serv.exe. It is so frustrating "couse I have simply no idea what to do - I tried to reinstall the driver (it crashes), tried to return to the previous version of the driver, I installed all the updates for the update of the system updates installed Windows - still the same." I also tried to tp4serv.exe in startup - no results... I noticed some messages on the internet from people with the same problem, but with no result... Do you have any suggestions what to do?

  EDIT: For any future reference - I managed to fix it: I first fully update windows and NET framework 4.0. That I got rid the trackpoint drivers on (had to remove in the boot menu first to uninstall it without freezing system)-result 4.72 driver has been replaced by the slow, ordinary windows without the Properties tab TrackPoint driver. I have that restarted, updated the driver in the properties of the mouse - I have not installed the latest driver Lenovo 4.72, welcomed bu7 Windows Update the driver to connect to windows update (4.64 driver). Then restarted and now everything works fine - I have my TrackPoint tab at the back of the mouse properties and can adjust the speed of the trackpoint once more!

• Annoying problem with text boxes

  I want to create a text box with the white fill color and black text. The entire box is an opacity of 0% in normal mode and in overturning it would be 64%. Everything works correctly if the text font is Helvetica for example. But if it's Chin (what I want) it does not at all. The box is an opacity of 100% in all modes.
