Another exhibition undetected. Win7 64 bit.

Hi people,

Processor Intel i5 750 2.66 ghz

Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 mATX

4 GB of DDR3 RAM, 1.5V 13333 mhz

PSU 450W Corsair VX series

500 GB Western Digital HD

NVIDIA 8600GT

I met a problem after I reinstalled Windows:

Previously, I had 2 monitors connected. The primary is a monitor 23 inch connected via DVI, the secondary image is a LCD TV 32 inch connected via VGA.

Before the reinstall both monitors worked well even if the second (VGA) screen would show the startup (BIOS, boot Windows etc.) before moving on to the primary level (DVI), when the office appeared. When I reinstalled Windows this time, I have everything unplugged bar the main monitor, mouse and keyboard. Now the main monitor works fine (and also shows the boot process), but Windows is unable to detect the second TV. Using the control panel > display > adjust the resolution and clicking on detect I get the message "another view undetected." NVIDIA Control Panel also fails to recognize the 2nd screen.

I deleted and reinstalled the latest Nvidia drivers, but the problem persists.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Seaneyb,

Please see article with some useful information:

  • C# 2008 - unregistered control error TestStand2012 ActiveX on Win7 64 bit OS

    Hi all

I hope someone can help with pointing me in the right direction.

I have a c# 2008 TestStand2010 ActiveX control (on the form) application. It is originally created in Windows XP, 32 bit and it works fine.

Now, I try to take the program to another PC with Win7 64 bit and TestStand2012.

I recompiled already successfully the solution with TS2012 on Win7 64 bit OS and I put "Any CPU" configuration manager "x 86". But when I'm debugging or running the program, I always have an exception ' class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0 x 80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).

When I remove the TestStand ActiveX control on the form, the program works very well. So I was wondering, if TestStand2012 is available for 64-bit? I have install TS2012 directly from the CD. Is there another TS 2012 special package for 64-bit? or the CD version is 32-bit and 64-bit?

If nothing wrong with the software, I missed something in the settings of c# language? Any suggestion is appreciated.

Thank you and have a nice day.

He now works then? This should work if you have set to x 86 platform. There must be a problem with the way you set the platform. Look at the example of c# UI project. It already does. Maybe you do not run the executable right. The exe file is built in a different directory for each default platform.

Assuming that you are talking about Adobe Acrobat 7 Standard, it is far from being compatible with Windows 7, if problems are to be expected.

When registering, if I leave the hearing program (for example, to use my browser while making a recording) recording immediately stops.

    Anyone encountered this?

  • Satellite L500D - 11 p & Win7 64 bit

Hello everyone I just bought the Toshiba Satellite L500D - 11 p Notebook PSLK3E-00N00TGR with a Win Vista pre-installed 32-bit & 64-bit. I want to install my own OS Win7 64 bit. First of all, I hate Vista, then I want to use 4 GB of Ram on this point, so I need WIn7 64 bit OS. But his Support Page of the driver:

    NES http://de.Computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=de&mode=allMachi & action = search & teddProduct = 856 & selShortMod = 892

There is no Win7 64 bit drivers for L500D - 11 p. Will there be a period of time, or is there another possibility Toshiba itself will correct that emit little, oder pourrais I just use the 64 bit Vista driver for Win7 64 bit OS?

    I don't know why there r Win7 32 bit drivers, but not Win7 64-bit available.

Specification of the material of this Satellite L500D - 11 p is almost the same with respect to the following model:

    Satellite L500D-144,
    Satellite L500D - 13H,
    Satellite L500D-14W.

These 3 NBs have preinstalled Win7 64 bit. Can I use instead their Win7 64-bit drivers? As I said that Win7 64 bit OS is preinstalled, similarly, 64-bit drivers but the drivers download page there are also no Win7 64 bit drivers for these 3 NBs. How is this possible, if they have even their all preinstalled and work? I'm a little confused, maybe more than just a little. But if the 64-bit r only preinstalled and working, where did you get em Toshiba or going where I get them and how much better, where will get 64-bit drivers for Win7 for my Toshiba Satellite L500D - 11 p?

    > These 3 NBs have preinstalled Win7 64 bit. Can I use instead their Win7 64-bit drivers?
    Of course you can do!

You can try all the unique drivers that have been released for other series as well.
I mean, in the worst case that the pilots would not work, and you wouldn't be able to install it
What do you have to lose?

In my opinion you should try it.

  • DCR-SR85 is not recognized by Win7 64-bit

    I have a DCR-SR85 camcorder and currently a Win - 7 64-bit computer.

DCR-SR85 have the USB port and the AV/R. When I connect the camcorder to my computer with the USB cable, it automatically displays a menu for USB (HDD) CONNECTION, connect USB (MEDIA) options PRINT & BURN DISC. Based on the results of USB-PLUG just 'preparation' options to display on the LCD of the camera - but nothing else happens and the computer does not recognize the camcorder.

I tried with several USB Ports, Win 7 (32 bit as 64-bit) different computers, different USB cables - its all have the same result.

All my other devices recognized by using these cables & USB ports, no problem.

I've seen a compatibility page Streaming USB is not compatible with Win 7 but only see PMB or PlayMemories are compatible with my model of camcorder (DCR-SR85) & Win - 7 (32-bit as 64-bit), so I assume that the USB cable should work.

Some experts can shed light on how solve my problem and get the camcorder to be recognized by the computer, via USB CONNECT?

    Hi Shaun,

    Appreciate your response.

As mentioned in my original post, I already tried with several USB cables as well as another USB Port on my computer & different computers (unfortunately all Win7 - 32-bit or 64-bit). None of them helped.

I also tried the factory reset option - also not helped.

As mentioned, when I connect via USB & select CONNECTION USB [HARD drive], the screen of the camcorder shows just "PREPARATION" - what needs to be done to fix this & happen to recognize each other (computer & Camcoder)?

I have several years of content captured on my drive hard camcorder and will hate to lose them.

You will appreciate all the assistance to be able to access them again - other than just viewing on the camcorder.

Installation driver Plug & Play doesn't work - it can not find the proper drivers.

If I try to install the latest HP driver for win7 64 bit (from the HP site), it stops during the instalation (windows program stops due to unknown issues).

If I try to install the 32-bit version of the driver complete Solution from HP site, it let me to the HP install window. By clicking on the "Install" button, it stops saying "Setup is not supported on this operating system, or the system does not meet the minimum requirements...". »

    laptop: HP 6570b

OS: windows 7 64-bit, selected, automatic driver update drivers on board cooler

    What to do next?

I found no error in the event viewer, at least not a red icon.

But I find the solution - in another forum thread. Here.

    1. I have connected the printer to get the error message,

    2. then downloaded and UNPACKED (no) LJM1120-COMPLETE-Solution driver installed (32-bit) here.

3 went to Device Manager, find the printer,

    4. right click to get the link submenu "Update driver."

5 choose the unzipped directory driver and let it update driver from there.

    Printer solved.

Then did the same thing to scan, points 3 to 5.

CTRL-Alt-Del does not bring upward the more after XP Task Manager - it brings up a different menu options:

The options presented are also slightly configurable via Group Policy, if your system is equipped with:

When you press a key on the keyboard, it should light up on the screen keyboard on (by pressing Ctrl):

Of course, we don't know anything about your system (desktop, laptop, keyboard, PS/2, USB, wireless wired keyboard) so you may need to see if another keyboard works, another USB port, batteries, etc...

  • Crystal Reports on Win7 (64 bit)?

An application that we use contains the version 8.x of Crystal Reports. We plan to upgrade PC to Win7 (64 bit). Crystal 8.x will work correctly under Win7 (64 bit)?

I have also a few applications with Crystal version 8.x.  I have no problem with Windows 7-32 bit.  64-bit gives me fits now.  The problem is passing the path to the workgroup system Crystal file through the registry so crystal is able to access the database, which is controlled by the permission of the user.  Another application using Crystal 8.x, using ADO to pass recordset to Crystal runs without any problem.  Thus, it seems to depend on your data access method.  Hope it will be useful to you.  Kind regards.

    =====================================================

Updated - I found the answer to move the info to the 8.x Crystal via the registry - entries that would normally be in the HKLM\Software\... Key should be moved to the HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node... Key.  The keys to this location are sent to 32-bit programs that run in the 64-bit environment.  So now, I have no problem.

You will need to buy a license to activate this copy of Windows 7 Professional. It doesn't have a product key, you will need to have that already.

You can even buy an edition much cheaper if you like Home Premium, since it will be for domestic use.

Because Windows 7 is in limited stock because Microsoft ended sales in October 2013, this created demand due to its rarity. This means the retail boxed copies request a bonus, while the OEM System Builder copies remain affordable.

    Full version (retail):

-Includes the rights of transfer to another computer.

-Does not require a qualifying earlier version of Windows.

    -Expensive

    OEM System Builder version:

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

  • Should I apply the different computer names to my Win7 32-bit and 64-bit installations?

I have Win7 Pro x 64 (64-bit) retail installed on my first hard drive and Win7 Pro x 86 (32 bit) OEM on my second hard drive (such as insurance, in the case that some of my programs and games do not run in Win7 64 bit).  At the beginning of each installation, Win7 request your screen name and the computer name.

Given that the two Win7s are installed in the same machine, and I have another hard drive as my Backup Master, should I give my Win7s the different computer names?  I think I have to, because I think I run the risk of my backup of 64 - bit crushing my 32-bit backup and my 32-bit crushing my 64-bit support. whenever I run a backup of a BONE followed by another...

If you have both installed on separate partitions/hard disks, they are considered separate or computers, facilities so yes, both must have unique names.
