  We have implemented the same exact requirement to retrieve the IP address of the client (WebUtil provides a function for this) and write it in the field v$ session.action (this can be done using the dbms_application_info package DB). We are so in shape 10g v assessment $session.action instead of v$ session.terminal.

• View saves the different host name in AD

  We run v5.3 Horizon in a vSphere 5.5 environment. Lately, I noticed that when I'm building a large pool, sometimes registered in DNS host names do not match the display generated on the virtual computer names. We use the clones related with a delete on logoff, no disk configuration persistent.  What components are involved in the disappearance of the name? It's between the composer and the agent of the view on the VM? I don't know how this could be getting screwed so intermittently.

  Finally, this problem disappeared for us. I believe that view 5.3.4 was ok and so far 6.1 also appears to not have this problem. I'm not 100% sure it was a problem of the Horizon, but that seems more likely.

• I'm looking to get a new computer.  Where should I start or how can I do to get all my current products, plugins and software on the new computer?  I currently have 5 Lightroom and CS 5.

  I am looking to update my computer in the next few weeks and was wondering how to make the transition of all software (CS5 and LR), plugins and Setup on the new computer.  I have specific plugins that I bought for PS and Magic Bullet Looks for AE.  I was also wondering what I have to do with LR.  I almost 750Go of media on a raid drive on what will be the old computer.  The majority of my media is stored on a disk external segate so that used that big of a problem.  What I was going to do with your old computer is to add a few extra hard drives searched the home and do a system drive.

  Where should I start and what other issues should I have?

  A lot of times depends on what operating system you are using (Windows, OSX etc.) and if you want to keep all your data from your old computer or only parts of adobe.

  The perfect way to do it would be to do what we called a metal backup naked using software such as shadow protect and then install the image it creates on your new system. With this method you keep everything and just change material making sure all your settings are always the same and be able to continue as if you had not changed the whole computer. The only difference you'd see is a strong increase in speed.

  In order to use the JavaBean, must be added the clientinfo.jar (and the full path) to the CLASSPATH = parameter in the default.env and also to add the clientinfo.jar to the archive = setting in the formsweb.cfg. This change should be made on the Application Server and if you want to run your form from the forms generator, then you must make the change of your local files as well.

  As François mentioned, you ignorant error FRM-13008 design if you want because it doesn't affect the generator of forms and not the runtime. If you would rather the error, you can add the clientinfo.jar and the full path in the Windows registry in the FORMS_BUILDER_CLASSPATH string.

• Problem to simply restore the wise accounts on the new computer (a XP, now Win7)

  I had XP in an old computer, with a version of simple Sage Accounting 2006.  My backups were all conducted in the Flash Drives.  I installed the wise 2006 program on a new computer with Win7 Home premium, and the program has been installed in "Program Files (X 86)".  When I try to restore my accounting backup of Flash Player made off the coast of the old XP machine, it restore in the new Win7, although it reads the disc and confirms that the information is there.

  Both machines now have a downloaded update of the program simply 2006 (Rev. 4) in a separate 'data' transfer all my data files have been moved to the new machine.  Older versions of business data will open OK.

  A message I get sometimes as to why it will not restore is "a required data file is missing.  Check your data folder to ensure that the file is there.  When the backup is read from the Zip drive on the new machine with Win7, it indicates: name Date modified Type size

  May be falling on my own solution.  Trying to save on a new Flash drive file under different name, so I could just open in the new machine, received a message that file was incomplete, get out of old machine before it's through.  Always had backups showing the 2 files in the cabin.  When I left it any longer, he had a 3rd data file.  My backups were probably incomplete, throughout and I didn't.  Thanks anyway.

  Problem

  Impossible to re-create this path with Windows 8, 64-bit configuration.

  a. when I try to download a driver always end up with a file called UPD-pcl6 - x 64 - 5.6.0.14430

  This seems to be a universal PCL 6 printer driver, can successfully decompress the file and create a folder

  b. during installation, I can see the desktop ICON printer (name: \\central\HPLaserj); So far so good

  c. process is unable to locate a driver and ordered to locate manually.

  d. accessing the HP Universal Driver files fails because a driver is not found.

  e. caraa attempt enter fails because you can't enter address above (\\central\HPlaserj). Cannot enter HPLaserj for the address, which obviously does not work.

  f. when the installation showed a list of drivers, the only one that I found was a universal PCL 6, which is what I thought, I tried to download the original.

  This set up has worked successfully to Windows 7 64 bit. It seems that I need help much more expertise to guide me through this whole upward.

• LR CC: How can you add labels 'ABC' to multiple slides and how to apply the different transition and pan / zoom to select slides?

  I want to add different labels to most of the slides.  The 'ABC' option adds the same label to all slides with includes date shot and camera settings that I don't want.   I also want to control the slides have pan / zoom.  Seems to be something pretty basic that I'm missing?

  1. by clicking on [ABC] creates the text box.  By clicking on the menu dropdown determines what appears in the box.

  (and you can create multiple text boxes with different information!)

  "Custom text" will appear the same on each slide. The other choice pull metadata each individual slide - "Filename", "Caption", etc.

  The dialog box "Edit...". "you can create a combination of metadata to display in a box.

  In the dialog box "Edit...". "Alternatively, you can create something like this, where the text {Custom} is the same before the {file name}... etc.

  

  

   

  2 pan/Zoom is a feature very poor slide show-it is fixed and will apply to all slides without any possibility of control. Better to leave off...

  How old is the machine?

  Like you have to re - insert the date on each startup my imidiate answer would be battery CMOS is dead and must be replaced.

  The battery is located on your PC motherboard. It is easy to access on a desktop computer, but more difficult on a laptop. Basically, it's like changing a watch battery; the only difference is that the battery inside your PC is slightly larger, around 1/2 in. or more.

• The virtual computer name gets a snapshot object

  I would get all the names of VM with at least a snapshot. And because the cmdlet get-snapshot does not work well in 4.0u1 I want to use it.

  I get all snapshots with:
