Another issue of HD configuration

It's my system...

CS5 Production Premium

Windows 7 64 bit

HAF 932 X case with 4 fans

Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R v2.0

I7 950

EVGA GTX 470

G.SKILL PI Series 6 GB (3 x 2 GB) 240 - Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) desktop memory model F3-12800CL7T-6GBPI

Hyper 212 more cooler with an additional fan

1 Velicoraptor 300 GB

4 drives of 1 TB of F3

1 WD Black 1 TB 32 MB cache

1 WD Black 2 TB 64 MB of cache

Coolermaster 1000w PSU

I need some advice on how to implement these discs

That's what I thought...

WD's bike for the OS

WD 2 TB of storage

WD 1 TB to save

and don't know about the 4 F3

Can not afford a controller now map.

I have many hours of footage-SD to load, as well as new HDV files

Also, if I read correctly, I should configure them with no partitions?

Thank you

First of all, make your memory sticks 3 x 4 GB. 6 GB is not enough for correct performance.

Use your F3 4 in two tables in raid0 on the mobo. Look here for the distribution of the types of files: Forums Adobe: generic guideline for disk configuration

Partitioning will only cause wear on your disks and make it slower, so do not use partitions.

  • Another problem with the configuration of Cisco VPN Client access VPN Site2site

    We have a Cisco ASA 5505 at our CORP. branch I configured the VPN Site2Site to our COLO with a Juniper SRX220h, to another site works well, but when users access the home Cisco VPN client, they cannot ping or SSH through the Site2Site.  JTACS contacted and they said it is not on their end, so I tried to contact Cisco TAC, no support.  So here I am today, after for the 3 days (including Friday of last week) of searching the Internet for more than 6 hours per day and try different examples of other users. NO LUCK. The VPN client shows the route secure 10.1.0.0

    Sorry to post this, but I'm frustrated and boss breathing down my neck to complete it.

  • Issue of cluster Configuration

    Hello
    I have a 3-node cluster and 1 of the present has more cpu rather the other 2.
    Is there a document that suggests that all nodes should be equal?

    Hello

    This question you can get you anwser using this note:
    RAC: Frequently asked Questions [220970.1 ID]
    Can I have different servers in my Oracle RAC? Can be from different vendors? Can be different sizes?
    ...
    Oracle RAC supports a cluster nodes with different hardware configurations. An example is a cluster to another node with 6 CPUs and 3 knots with 4 processors. This can easily happen when you add a new node after the cluster has been in production for some time. For this type of configuration, clients must take into account some additional features for optimal cluster performance. The servers in the cluster can be from different vendors; It is fully supported as long as they run the same binary files. Given that many clients implement Oracle RAC for high availability, you must make sure that your hardware vendor will support the configuration. If you have a failure, you will be supported for the hardware configuration?
    ...

    Kind regards

  • Another issue of XML

    Hi all

    I wonder if you can help me with the following: I a member of the distribution which is powered with phrases of the text in an XML database.
    Once the phrases have been loaded into the cast member I have a script that feeds on the first line of the Member of the cast with phrases (name: questions) to another Member of the cast of the stage.

    Member ("Q"). Text = member("questions").line [1]

    Now on my scene, I also have a button that needs to load the next line of the questions in the Q member member until there is no lines in all. I think I should load all of the rows of the Member questions in a list and then pull each expression in the list until eventually there is no sentence at all. However, I do not know how! Any ideas?

    Thank you very much

    I don't know why you don't know the first line of the text of member ("issues")
    When you create your list (perhaps because you have already assigned the)
    (question?)
    I would say something like the following:
    --
    myQuestionList property

    on beginSprite me
    myQuestionList =]
    tText = member("questions").text
    maxLines = tText.line.count
    Repeat with i = 1 to maxLines
    myQuestionList.append (tText.line )
    end repeat
    Member ("Q"). Text = myQuestionList [1]
    end

    on mouseUp me
    TPO = myQuestionList.getPos (member("Q").text)
    If apt< count(myquestionlist)="">
    Member ("Q"). Text = myQuestionList [OPC + 1]
    on the other
    -no longer available issues
    end if
    end

    However, I think that the logic to display of questions could be better
    partner with the text sprite which displays (objects issues
    Maybe should also be responsible to themselves as possible).
    Then the button could simply say the display object to display in question
    the following question:
    -issue display (#text sprite)
    myQuestionList property
    myCurrentQuestion property
    myMember property

    on beginSprite me
    myMember = sprite (me.spriteNum) .member
    myQuestionList =]
    tText = member("questions").text
    maxLines = tText.line.count
    Repeat with i = 1 to maxLines
    myQuestionList.append(tText.line
    )
    end repeat
    myCurrentQuestion = 0
    me.mDisplayNextQuestion)
    end

    on mDisplayNextQuestion me
    TPO = myCurrentQuestion + 1
    If apt< count(myquestionlist)="">
    myMember.text = myQuestionList [mutual FUNDS]
    myCurrentQuestion = TPO

  • If I move to another country, can I configure my Apple TV to work with the services available in this country? Also can I change the language settings

    haven't bought an Apple TV still, when initially setting up can you allows you to select your county and languages so where ever you move, you can use it with services available on site?

    Yes provided services are available in a given country, however if you plan to buy stuff in iTunes purchases are linked to the AppleID used in the country of purchase which you can not migrate/transfer to another country.

  • Another issue of Unicode

    Here is the story so far:

    By activating the Unicode through the LabVIEW.ini (UseUnicode = true), I was able to develop a certain package of beautiful translation.  Moreover, when I create an executable file and run it, it works also.  But when I deploy it on another computer - that is, by running in the release folder or actually the installation with the installer - it displays garbage.  Not even the Chinese garbage - fair squares that I think means are nonprinting characters.

    Anyone know how to get around this problem?  I'll be actively trying stuff and update you on my progress.

    Oh, dev machine is Win7 and target is Windows XP.

    You have good languages enabled on the XP machine?  I * think * they are disabled by default, but I have not touched XP in quite some time.

  • Another issue a DHCP 50 option

    I went through the manual RFC to incorporate "the customer asked" the IP address.

    With 50 option, should I send/ask another thing?

    N ° the DHCP server must serve all customers the same.

  • Update issues - stuck on configuring updates step 3 of 3

    original title: update problems

    I installed an update and it now loads to the screen is blue and says "Configuring updates step 3 of 3-0% don't turn off your computer.

    Then the computer turns off and turns on and displays the same screen. He did this even though its plugged in the power cable. It was thus for 5 hours now.

    Hello

    You can follow the steps from the link below: an update is not installed successfully when you try to install the update in Windows Vista and Windows 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949358

  • XPS 8700: Issue of drive configuration

    On my 8700 XPS running Windows 7, I intend to use an external drive connected to one of the SATA motherboard ports eSATA occasionally, but the external hard drive is not permanently attached and running.  Which of these wirings of disk configuration is not OK:

    Scenario one:

    • SATA 0: hard drive
    • SATA 1: eSATA, but normally no drive connected.  Sometimes an external drive would be attached. (this should be enabled/disabled in the BIOS every time?).
    • SATA 2: optical drive

    Scenario 2:

    • SATA 0: hard drive
    • SATA 1: optical drive
    • SATA 2: eSATA, but normally no drive connected.  Sometimes an external drive would be attached. (this should be to be enabled/disabled in the BIOS everytime?).

    Thank you!

    Hi Lone Star,

    It should make no difference. However, you can assign a drive letter on the external drive, so it does not change other drive letter assignments when you connect the eSATA drive.

  • Issue of DIRT configuration

    When you set up the DIRT on the unit 4.05, Exchange outside, I planned a regular backup with a svc account had full access to the SQL Dbs, who chose not to save messages. I accidentally checked the 'include the subscriber messages' and before I could uncheck it, the unit began to display messages (see below) and the only way I could stop the closure of the messages had to end task. Now when I try to open the DIRT backup tool, I get these messages and get there uncheck messages of "backup." The tool is configured to run with an account that has access SQL, but not message store access.

    How can I fix in order to enter into the tool of the DIRT from the unit and get the backup copy works again?

    Yes, I need to change the behavior here to throw the error message, write to the event log and deselect automatically - just have not got around him.

    You can remove the option manually in the registry - go to HKLM\Software\Active Voice\DisasterRecovery\Settings\. You will see "IncludeMessages" as a DWORD option - set it to 0. The next time you open backup DiRT that it will not try to assume you want to save the messages.

  • Another issue of display language

    I installed Windows 7 Pro to a user here at work. Apparenetly, during the installation, I chose English Zimbabwe as the display language (note that this is not the English language chosen when Windows 7 is still configure itself - Zimbabwe isn't even a choice it.)  The user has not yet noticed the difference of language; However, whenever she printed something the printer asked paper in A4 format.

    I changed the display in American English language and who fixed most of it. However, some Office 2010 documents would always ask for A4 paper.  I found a place in MS Office to change the default size of letter paper.  However, Outlook asked again for A4 paper.  I changed a setting in Outlook for letter emails so now print on letter isize paper.  However, email attachments still require paper in A4 format.  My question is, where are all the places I need to change from A4 to letter?  Is there a registry fix for this?  If I can not understand that I have to re - install Windows.  Not funny.  Or a new profile user would fix the problem?

    Thanks for the reply, Shalini.  This problem has been resolved by reinstalling the printer driver.

    According to the user, it affected all attachments regardless of the type of file.

    This is a HP Color LaserJet CM2320nf MFD.

  • Another issue of queues DSCP/QoS/CoS of 6500/7600

    OK... a little confused, thinking, that I know what needs to happen, and what is happening now, but it is true UN-certainty with that I hope that people can help.  Here are the basic configuration:

    A---|6500|--10G--|7604|---10G---|7604|---10G---|6500|---B

    You get the point.  Traffic crossing A-> B or vica versa.

    All the links of the kernel are L3/Routed, not L2/Vlan/.1q/ISL

    Traffic is marked on the Board with a political map of penetration.

    Traffic is confirmed through DURATION that it contains both CoS and DSCP/ToS, leaving the 6500 s two-way headed the core of 7600

    Traffic is ALSO confirmed through extending classes * receipt * on the other side by the 6500, that DSCP is maintained but CoS is gone/0.

    Considering that only 6708 - 10G modules allow apparently dscp values mapped to the queues/thresholds, which leaves me with the research of the queue on the penetration (for VoIP traffic priority) with cos-of-queue / beat mapping as well as output with cos to queue mappings.  Of course, this is not possible (at least on the penetration) if the 7600 are not preserving the CoS on the output of the port.

    This leaves wondering if the 7600 are same queue evacuation traffic based on internal mapping supposed DSCP-to-CoS that is supposed to happen before the queue/Scheduler.  Interfaces are all set up as "trust dscp" right now.  So the CISCO docs should be rewriting CoS to 0 on the penetration and using reliable dscp values to determine internal DSCP, which in turn should be used with DSCP-CoS map appropriate queue on exit... I am a sceptic, what happens really... and unfortunately, have really no way to verify (that I know) because the show on the 6500/7600 commands are fairly primitive about QoS stats...

    Then, we have been re - think about it and thought that maybe the thing to do to solve this problem is to:

    -Trust cos instead of dscp

    -enable transparency dscp (no rewriting dscp) so it is kept on the side of the switch output

    And so by doing this it would be:

    -use CoS to tail of penetration

    -use CoS to output queues

    - And to preserve the original CoS and DSCP/ToS values

    Would that be correct?

    Two other config options I thought were:

    -queue only mode

    -mpls cos spread (although I don't think that would do what I want, but rather simply spread non-existent MPLS EXP bits)

    Any help would be greatly appreciated... I read so many different docs now, my head is swimming

    Couple of caveats-

    (1) all the below apply to pre IOS 15, as I have no experience with which it may be different

    (2) I have not used a 7600, but I used the 6500 much but both share a large number of the linecards and I suspect you're referring to this kind of linecards.

    The main problem is that the CoS value is contained in the 802. 1 q non-native added tag VLANs on a trunk link. But your links are L3 if there is no value CoS to preserve.

    This creates two problems for you-

    (1) input queues. On penetration, the queues are CoS based which means you need to a CoS value to assign packets into queues. On the 7600 s you're obviously not see a CoS value for the reason explained. Now, you can use a political map and a service policy to classify and mark inbound traffic. But, as far as I know, you can set the IP precedence or DSCP marking in a map policy on traffic of the penetration. Some cards like cards ARE for the 7600 support defining a CoS value but I think they are the exception rather than the norm.

    (2) output queues. You are right in what you say, IE. You can trust the DSCP/IPP incoming value and then, assuming that the line card doesn't support based DSCP output queue, the 7600 may derive a value based on the internal DSCP value CoS and then put in the correct output queue.

    Yet once, however, without a trunk there no value written in the packet CoS.

    I entirely agree that it can be very difficult to tell exactly what the 6500 in terms of marking internal etc. This is one of the great frustrations with the 6500.

    Hope some of that helped.

    Edit - the only way that you can trust CoS on penetration as far as I can see is to make the trunk links IE. you use a vlan dedicated for each interconnection and allow only that vlan on the link. Then you simply transfer the IP addresses assigned to the physical ports for the SVI to the new VLAN on each switch. You should make sure that the vlan that you authorized through the link was not the vlan native because you need a tag to add.

  • ENVY 17 issue of Eyefinity configuration

    Hello

    I wonder how can I run my HP ENVY 17 with Eyefinity in Battlefield 3 and other games. I have three monitors and they all work perfectly in Windows 7, but only one monitor is used in games (I even tried Dirt 2).

    The computer I have is an ENVY 17/CTO-2000.

    I look forward to hearing from someone.

  • Another ISSUE of CARD GRAPHICS... (had to publish a new, as suggested)

    im getting desperate now and any help will be greatly appreciated.

    im a little on the same boat as the op, I have is a m9515y and have been wanting to update my video to a GTX 460 card. I have however to get a BLUE SCREEN everytime installation card.

    My OS Vista Home premium 64-bit, 16 GB ram, antec 650 watt power supply, 2 hd sata configured as IDE (also tried to set them up in RAID).

    Ive tried to use a different power supply, a GS600 as it is the same power supply that I used on my box of WHS2011 the GTX460 is running without any problems. only difference is the Council, which is a motherboard intel and only 8 GB of ram. CPU is core 2 duo.

    What is the exact make and model of the GTX 460?

    I suggest first pulling all but one of your modules memory of 4 GB and a train departure

    You have connected to the video card PCIe power connectors?

    What is the exact reference of your diet?

    Best regards

  • Another issue of tab...

    I have another question of tab that drives me crazy.

    tabb.jpg

    On this photo. I can't seem to do the field highlight 9th in the tabulation.  No matter what I do, there are 35 and I can't understand why.

    Why some numbers appear blue, while others appear Brown?

    I've even re-created the field in the table and tried to place it like that.

    Thanks for any help.

    Gretchen

    The gray fields are automatic tab order and blue are the custom tab order. Do not know how you have both, you custom tab order?

    Sometimes it will get bugged, try to set to auto and then back to Custom.
