Reset the Microsoft connected account password

HP recommends using a Microsoft account connected (MSA) to log Windows. To reset your password for an INT account follow these steps:

Open an Internet browser and go to the Microsoft Web page to reset your password : https://account.live.com/password/reset.
Select I forgot my password, and then click reset password.
Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password.

When the password is reset, you will be able to use your Microsoft account with the new password to connect to Windows 10 and Windows 8. Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet until you try to connect.
