So far, the GPU is not officially supported with Premiere Pro.

But you can always install or use Premiere Pro with these cards. (NOTE: it might give you some performance related issues)

These cards are still in the testing phase and once our team of engineers is done with all the tests, it will be updated on this document:

  • How to remove pieces of my Nano 6th generation?

I spent several hours of frustration tonight trying to solve the situation I am with my camera.

I want to delete songs from my iPod Nano 6th generation to make room for other songs in my library.  And, unfortunately, I have not read a single post, so far, that has helped to solve my problem.  If anyone can help after reading the information I provided below, I'll be most grateful.  Be specific if you provide specific to follow steps.

    Relevant information (see image below):

    • I have the latest version of iTunes installed on my laptop (12.4.3.1, 32-bit).
    • In preferences, I chose the option that prevents the automatic synchronization.
    • When I select the Nano connected in "Devices", no summary tab displays. I can't find this tab anywhere in the table of edge poster or under any section of the main toolbar on the top and left side of the page.
    • When I select 'Music' in the devices menu and select "Edit Playlist" in the center of the window of 'Music', I can't delete the control of all the listed songs.
    • In the right window which displays the songs on my Nano, I am unable to highlight and delete any song to this list.

    Thank you!

    Andi

There are several different issues here; rather than write a long response, I'll respond to a few key points that can be confusing...

When I select the Nano connected in "Devices", no summary tab displays.

In current iTunes, the screens of the iPod (including the abstract) settings are accessible by clicking on button iPod.  The screenshot below shows the left upper corner of the window of my iTunes, with the camera button circled in red.  (I see in your screenshot).

Click this button to display the settings for the abstract of the iPod.  The other configuration screens (for example, with regard to the timing of the music ) are accessible from the sidebar along the left side of the window (under the name and the tiny image of the iPod).  Thus, instead of the former "tabs" go anywhere at the top of the window, use this sidebar.

Is the iPod puts to manually manage music (check box) in the settings summary form?  If this is the case, you should be able to select the song (or songs) on the list of songs from iPod, then press the delete key to remove the iPod.  In the sidebar of the iPod as on my device, click on music, to see the current list of the songs on the iPod.  (You can also use the list of songs that you have demonstrated in your capture screen).

If this list is grayed out, the iPod is probably configured to use automatic synchronization (so you can't manually delete the songs).    In the sidebar of the iPod, under settings, click on music, to display the parameters of music from iPod.  If Sync music checked it, the iPod is currently set to use automatic synchronization.

Please post back with all of the remaining issues.

  • IPod Nano 6th generation not recognized in itunes

I have a new ipod nano 6th generation is not recognized on my itunes - although I've followed all the advice on apple's site, which has spent more than two hours with apple engineering staff in their stores. They are clueless or advise that it is a matter of windows like the ipod works on all other PCs and other ipods are recognized even on my itunes.

The error message I see when itunes opens is "an ipod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the ipod and try again. If the problem persists, uninstall itunes and then reinstall itunes.

I tried various online forums and although I found some people with the same problem it seems to be no answer.

It has also been suggested to me that it may be a driver problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • How can I erase all the files on my iPod Nano (6th generation) and start over?

I can sync is more manually all the files that I need on my iPod Nano (6th generation) to my Macbook (OS 10.6.8) because it is full.  Instead of delete folders and songs about the Nano, which would take forever, I'd rather delete it all and start by cleaning up the folder that I keep in my iTunes library (11.4), then by loading all on the Nano.

    How do I:

    (1) delete all music from the Nano?

    (2) see how many in the iPod folder in my iTunes library Macbook so I know what to remove?

I know this must be a simple process, but it's been a long time I did!  Thanks for any help out there.

When your iPod is connected to your MacBook, open iTunes, click on your iPod in the sidebar and in the 'Summary' tab, click 'Restore iPod.'

If you don't see the sidebar in iTunes, go to the view menu in the menu bar, and then click see the sidebar.

  • 6th generation Nano more often used to synchronize

Just got a used iPod Nano 6th generation, and I'm in trouble.

I have an iMac 27 inch, model late 2009, running El Capitan. I have the latest version of iTunes.

When I connect the iPod to the computer via most of the USB sites, it does not appear in the Finder as a mounted drive. However, it fact appear in system information under Bus USB 2.0-> Hub-> iPod. The system seems vaguely aware that there is a connected iPod, but doesn't let me do anything with it. The iPod itself says that it is connected, and it charges with success.

However, when I plug the iPod into either of the USB slots on my Apple wired keyboard, it fact appear in the Finder. Basically, on 6 slots USB (4 on iMac) and 2 on the keyboard, it will only reveal when it is connected to one of them.

Once I got it in the right port USB, iTunes has been able to recognize the iPod. However, it seems especially want to synchronize. Usually it hangs there for several minutes while trying to synchronize before you say it's impossible: "iTunes could not copy X to iPod Y because the file cannot be read or written.". At this point, there usually is no longer appears in iTunes (even if it is mounted in the Finder).

Sometimes successfully, it syncs, but 90% of the time that it just hangs up. I don't see a model when this happens. I wrote this, I was able to do accept a synchronization of two podcasts and a song, and then it stopped working again.

I tried to reset the iPod and be in and out of disk mode. I was unable to restore factory default via iTunes: nothing happens for awhile, then iTunes says that it cannot.

I tried to manually add files to the iPod by dragging on in the Finder. This usually causes Finder hang and then must be restarted. In some cases, I can't even restart Finder until I pull the cable the iPod, as the whole system crashes.

I used on the iPod disk utility, to fix all the errors (he found) and to clear its contents.

I wonder if this is related to the USB cable, but I guess my thought is that if the cable was defective, wouldn't I have not have done until now? It shows in the Finder, cool and sometimes allows to synchronize a file. But I could well be wrong. Before I go buy a new one, I thought I would check here to see if it could be something else.

Any help is appreciated. I have this during 4 hours, try different things, read troubleshooting guides, forum posts, etc.

Your Mac is old enough to have ports USB 2.0, so your 6th gen iPod nano should work well with it.  My Mac mini's 2011 (last iTunes and OS X running); It works very well with my old iPods; most of them are older than your iPod nano.  It should work on the direct USB ports on your iMac.  It is strange that it works a little better on the free USB port on your keyboard.  Normally, I would suggest using a direct USB port on Mac when troubleshooting.  And your USB cable is probably fine; I would bad cable try another cable or using your cable power with another Apple device (if possible).

First, you must use the procedure to Reset SMC (System Management).  It serves as a general hardware reset for the Mac.  For an Intel iMac, it's basically unplug the power cord from the iMac and reconnect it, at the end of a specific procedure

Reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac - Apple Support  (see Reset the SMC on Mac desktops)

You can also make the correct procedure to Reset NVRAN ("PRAM") ol ', just in case...

How to reset the NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

NOW, you can try some real tests to narrow down the cause of your problem.  These are separate test.

    (1) stop (power off) Mac and disconnect all the USB devices.  You can leave your connected USB keyboard/mouse.  Do this Reset (reboot) of your iPod

Learn how to reset your iPod - Apple Support

Start the Mac, launch iTunes and connect the iPod to a USB direct on the Mac, by himself.  Is there a difference?  This is to exclude a conflict between connected USB devices.

    (2) the iMac in Safe Mode startup

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning - Apple Support

In Safe Mode, the extensions of the system of third parties (such as device drivers) are not loaded when you start.  In addition, the third party background processes that launch automatically when the connection do not run.  This is to exclude a conflict with a third party software that may interfere with the iPod.  Your iPod should (normally) always connect with iTunes in Safe Mode.  Try things like the synchronization and restore in iTunes.

    (3) create a new 'Test user' account in the users and groups System Preferences pane.  I have a user account on my Mac named Test user.  This user account can be Standard (not administrator). Disconnect , then reconnect you user account.  Do not use Quick user change.  In the new user account, run iTunes and connect your iPod.  iTunes uses a new iTunes library.  Add a few songs to test the library.  Try things that don't work well in your usual user account.  This is to rule out a problem related to your usual user account or iTunes library.

    (4) you can do another test, if you have something like an external drive that can be erased.  Use the Setup program for El Capitan downloaded from the Mac App Store to install an external OS X "fresh" on the hard drive system, after erasing it in disk utility.  Startup test of external drive system.  Launch iTunes, plug in the iPod and try even.  This is to rule out a problem with your existing system of El Capitan, which can inherit problems that you apply updates over time.

In each case, if the iPod works normally for this test, you have reduced the cause.  You can then focus your troubleshooting to find the exact cause.  Please post back with new discoveries...

  • iPod Nano 6th generation works with ElCapitan?

IPod Nano 6th generation works with El Capitan?

I can't seem to connect to iTunes 12 to download music?

My nano gen 5 works.  And my iPod 3rd gen since about 2003 "classic" works with the latest OS X and iTunes.

If you did not for a long time, remember to close the Mac (power off) and start it again.  iTunes has some background processes that identify when an iPod is connected, and they may stop working properly if the Mac worked without reboot for awhile.  Also, if you can, try to use another USB cable, where one of the uses has become defective.

Look at the screen of the iPod when you connect it?  What did he say or do, just after the connection (if any)?

  • iPod Nano 6th generation of devices

I have an iPod Nano 6th generation. I would like to continue to use it to play music during the night while I SLEEP. I got an iHome unit, but who has just died. I have two conditions for a new device. The device must plug into a wall outlet and charge the iPod Nano.

Can someone suggest a new device?

There are two separate functions here.  Charging the iPod and speakers are active.  The iPod has two connectors for audio output and power, so do not force yourself to a single device.

Use a common USB adapter, (that plugs into the wall), as the type that comes with the iPhone or other device and standard USB cable to charge the battery of the iPod.  Connect common self-powered speakers, as the type that people use computers, making headphone iPod.  That is how I use my iPod touch on the bedside table.

  • New Ipod Touch (6th generation)... Brick!

New Ipod Touch (6th generation).  Right out of the box and as expected, another update Super bricks my new Ipod Touch.  My question is HOW?  And before you ask, YES everything has been updated to the latest version (itunes, Java, QuickTime, IE, Windows and other applications you can think of).  I purposely keep a copy of an older version of Itunes on an old laptop running because this is the only version that will recognize my Ipod when happen (both latest and Itunes).  Given zero has no effect.

When say you that the device is brick what is on the screen today? It does not force a reset? Try If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch does not illuminate, If iTunes does not your iPad, iPhone or iPod , or If you cannot update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

    See this note about QuickTime.

  • Is the argument of the iPod Touch 6th generation have a SIM card?

IPod touch 6th generation have a SIM card and it can make phone calls with the devices iOS?

No, it's an iPhone without the "phone".

  • I don't want to delete off my ipod 6th generation, I want to just remove and store.

There is not a lot of space on my ipod touch 6th generation and I just want to know if I could somehow, not erase all my music and movies but store them somewhere on my ipod.

You "store" your music in iTunes app on your computer, your images in the Photos application and your data synchronized to your computer applications (calendar, Contacts, etc.).

I guess that the music on your iPod was purchased from the iTunes Store. When you connect your iPad to your computer, you can choose to transfer all purchases, or you can connect to the iTunes Store on your computer and the re - download everything for free purchases.
