Any replacement of decibel meter app in the store window?

Hello

I find the decibel meter app on the store of the window of my windows8 pc does not. And its Web site is down too. Is there a replacement for this app? I want to compare the level of noise tested with an android tablet. Also, I would like an easy way to download the app on the app store. I most often use an account is a local account. I don't like the email account logon.

I love Windows 8 and applications. I have a great demand for engineers at Microsoft. I want the ability to delete the apps from the "My apps" section in the Windows store. I already know that's not possible, so do not post telling me it's impossible. The only answer I want to hear from microsoft is 'the next update will have a fix' or at least 'we are working to solve the problem."  I know a lot of people who would greatly appreciate this ability! • Wich App on the store Windows running on my Surface RT RMVB files?

Currently, my RT Surface DO NOT open all the RMVB files. How can I fix it? Help, please!

Correction on my last comment, RealPlayer Express is available at the store AND it is supported by the RT.  If you can't find it in the store, go to http://www.real.com and click the big button "Windows Store".  Will need you a sample page and from there it réacheminera you to the location of the store where he is.

Useful to note that if you get a warning from the store to say that «you need an Internet connection...» ' just click 'Try Again '.  For some reason, he is "confused."

You would replace your location in the control panel settings to access the applications not available in your area... If your current region has a limited choice of applications, these applications are simply not available for this region (defined by the developer/publisher

Open the store, open the charm of search, look further.

You can even do the opposite. Open the charm of search anywhere and then select the store in the list of available places under the search field.

In addition, you can also simply open the app store and start typing. Everything you type will be automatically added to the charm of the research.

  • install apps from the store / checked / others?

    Hi all

After the successful sierra upgrade remains a question...

In Control Panel / common I could select (capitan) between 'install apps from the store', '... certified developers', '... from other

On the Sierra, I only have the options "... the store," '... of certified developers

The last option "... others" was gone.

Can this last option 'install applications from others' be re-activated?

I had a couple of applications that require one '... other What will happen in the future when there is the need to reinstall?

    Greetings from the Germany

    Chris

This is a "feature". In Sys Prefs, you can choose between the store and known to the developers. You can always choose to open a pkg app or an unknown dev by ctrl-click Installer, and then by selecting open from the menu. You will get a dialog with an option to open the application. Once this is done, your Mac will approve the app.

It is possible to completely disable a guard, but this is not recommended. Here's how: http://www.amsys.co.uk/2016/09/disable-gatekeeper-macos-sierra/

Open the store and open bar charms and select "settings".  Then click on 'your account '.  You must finish setting up your account before you can get apps.  Although the apps you're looking for are 'free', you will not be charged for them, but the account setup must be run.

    Hello

We recommend that you try the following troubleshooting steps:

Method 1: Try to disable the proxy connection (if you are using a connection through proxy)

Follow these steps to disable the proxy:

    a. click on the gear icon in the upper right of Internet Explorer and then click on Internet Options.
    b. click on the connections tab, then click LAN settings.
    c. uncheck use a proxy server for your LAN , and then click OK.

Method 2: Run the troubleshooter of App

Refer to this link: solving the problems of the App.

    Method 3: Reset Store Cache

has. press the Windows logo key + R to the start screen.
    b. type wsreset.exe in the immediate window and press enter.

Method 4: Temporarily disable the antivirus program

Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats.
In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • After you perform a restore, Bing apps are now gone and appear in "all apps" in the store under a profile that I can't access.

Original title: Windows 8 Bing apps not available in the Microsoft account

My problem is that my Bing Apps.
I have upgraded to Windows 8 Pro 7 without problem. I ran the application Bing weather and asked that he finds my location - it was more than 100 miles on. I couldn't remove it then uninstalled the app hoping I could reinstall, but couldn't figure out how.
Then I did something obviously stupid, that I did a restore. I thought that by 'all the apps' WIndows 8 did not have programs, but it does of course (a slight rewrite would make that more clear for those of us who do identify not all apps as including programs).
OK, I had to reinstall programs, a nuisance, but that's all. However, all my Bing apps are now gone.
They appear in "all apps" in the store, but under profile DOUGW-PC (the name of my PC) I can't access. I can't find a way to install them on the only account I can access.  And I paid directly for a couple of them.
Not a good general experience despite the fact that the upgrade went well.
    Doug

This has happened to all of my Apps - those who came with Windows and those that are installed on the APP store. The convenience store showed no problems. Reinstall does not help and I could not uninstall, as they were not available.
However, I found a solution - a real uninstall instead of the uninstall normally, using a PowerShell script: http://www.howtogeek.com/138752/use-powershell-to-remove-multiple-modern-apps-from-windows-8/ I managed to uninstall those I wanted to use, and this time when I reinstalled the they all revealed in the tiles of departure.

I wish that Microsoft could understand that when they say that this update will remove all applications from other web pages that they are actually referring to what Microsoft has used to call programs. I thought apps were talking apps such as hear normally.
    Thanks for the reply though.

I need help please, because windows 8.1 is coming and I want to update

also I try to communicate directly with Microsoft, and when asked for the PID (ID), I insert and always gives me a server error or other problems

I need help please. Thanks in advance

I ran into the problem last night where I could not install, reinstall, or update all apps in the Windows store.  I'm still under Windows 8 and 8.1 not for reasons known but that is for another place.
This problem took me a day to find and troubleshoot, ALLL and I mean about 8 solid hours.  The error codes I received kept windows pointing store of problems with Windows Update or other corruptions of system, but after all of these solutions and executed the partner checks several times nothing was wrong with my Windows Update.  I would have guessed considering how I could still download updates from MS very well.
What solved MY problem (and I bet that most of your establishments), was actually a file permissions issue.  There are TWO, count them 2 folders that you should be sure your username has full permissions.  I saw there of the patches that speak on one or the other, but you need BOTH.  Here is the path to these files file: (remember 'C' is my root drive, is the name of each user on the system, and if you have customized your installation of windows, or the location of the user folder, you must change this path to match)
    C:\Program Files\WindowsApps
    \AppData\Local\Packages C:\Users\
Before you follow this procedure, access the Windows store and cancel all pending installations (or omitted).
To set the permissions: (if at any time, the system asks the permission of the administrator, you must grant it)
    1. make sure that you logged in with an administrator account.
    2. open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program FIles.
    3. Locate the file WindowsApps (all the way down)
NOTE: this is a hidden folder, so do not forget, you go to the top of the window and click on the 'View' tab, then check the box next to "Hidden items" in the Show/Hide section.
    4. right click on the WindowsApps file and choose "Properties".
    5. click on the security"" tab.
    6. click on the button "Advanced".
7.1 if your username is listed in the list under entity double-click on it (otherwise go to 7.2)
7.1 a - ensure the Type: is 'Allow' and the applies to: is "this folder, subfolders and files.
7.1 b - click the full control checkbox
    7.1.c - click OK
7.2 If your username is not listed, click on the button "Add" below the list (you may need to click on 'Edit' to the 'Add' button to appear)
7.2 a - click on "Select a main" link at the top.
7.2 b-"Advanced", click on "find now".
7.2 c - book here your user name in the list and double-click on it
    7.2d - click OK
7.2E - ensure the Type: is 'Allow' and the applies to: is "this folder, subfolders and files.
7.2f - click the full control checkbox
    7.2.g - click OK
    8. you should now see your username in the list of the "Advanced Security Settings for WindowsApps" with "Full control" in the access column (if you do not, go back to 7.1 or 7.2 and carefully follow the steps once again).  Click OK
    9 go to C:\Users\\AppData\Local
NOTE: AppData is a hidden folder, so be sure you have the "Hidden items" box checked
    10. right click on the WindowsApps file and choose "Properties".
    11. click on the security"" tab.
    12. click on the button "Advanced".
13 follow the same procedure in steps 7.1 or 7.2 to add your username to the list to this folder with full control permissions.
    14
    . Restart your computer.
That's it, once your computer restarts, you should be able to use the store Windows to install applications and updates.
Once you confirm that it works for you, I recommend you to create an image of the master volume of your Windows System.  All this happened to me while I was trying to get everything set up initially, but once you do, using the image as a good quick a good known Configuration reboot is a MUCH faster way to solve many problems with Windows... SAME A WAY TO GO BACK to Windows 8 Windows 8.1 IF YOU FIND THE NEED. I KNOW I DID!
    Hope that helps everyone!
  • the store Windows 8.1

Lower back when Windows 8.1 first came out I could load the ISO of the same place that I paid for my copy of windows 8.0 and I have not had any problems with the installation. Now with the only source being the store Windows I'll have nothing but issues. I can't download or if it downloads it will not install. This is a clean install of media BLUE Windows 8.0, there is no parasites, anti-virus or firewall blocks my system. I already ran the first batch of 107 updates from Microsoft, which enabled the store thinking I could download.

    I have two questions:

    (1) is there another source where I might be able to recover the ISO (I lost the first copy in a car accident)?

    (2) if the answer to question 1 is NO, so how can I get when the store let me download my machine or it won't let me install it.

    Best regards and thank you

    Joanna

There are 2 sources of Windows 1) free 8.1 must be downloaded from the store Windows 8.0 and purchase 2) a full commercial copy, digital download or disc. These are the only 2 options that Microsoft has chosen to use for version 8.1 of Windows. At this point, I would suggest you reset your computer to Windows 8.0, uninstall any third party antivirus and security and then also use their removal tool. Make sure that Windows Defender is turned on. Install all available updates. Reset your store, an essay on the download cache. If the problem persists always get back to us with error messages. Hope this helps and if you need any additional aid station and we will be happy to help you.
