• Compatibility of theme 12 theme APEX 3.2 & 4.0 new themes

  We have successfully upgraded a development environment to 4.0.1. The application that we have improved using the APEX 3.2 12 theme. Most of our users still use IE 6, so we are limited in the new themes we choose because they must also be compatible with IE 6.
  
  Can anyone suggest which of the 5 themes compatible IE 6 of APEX 4.0 would put more closely matched to the old theme 12 of APEX 3.2? The least change the better on this first round.

  You will get about all the new features. You will obviously get more "modern" model based DIV structure And you won't have the region display model selector (and related features). But apart from that, you should have all the available features of 4.0.

• Themes suddenly stopped working after trying the new theme

  I installed a theme in TB and it looked nice, so I decided to try it in FF36.04. It worked, but when I tried to go back to my old theme (same author), it did not work and the area became top black with just the usual text. I tried to go back to my old theme (same author) that has worked well for years. When I went to modules. themes, it enumerates the different themes, but doesn't display photos. If you go to the specific page of the theme (by modules) it doesn't show the author's name and the theme as well as the button disable/remove, no picture or any other detail. It is the same for all themes.

  I tried adding a new topic randomly and it worked and displays the image on the themes tab, but others do not always work. They show different colors if I activate different themes, which I assume is the background. I tried all the usual things, which dates back to default (seems OK), tried to restart FF, laptop computer reboot, etc., but nothing don't is my old theme back I've had for years.

  Because a new theme worked, I could probably delete all my old themes and go and download them and install them again, but something went wrong and I would like to fix everything what it is, rather than leave perhaps a hidden problem.

  Any suggestions?

  • • • Edit - just updated to FF37.0.1 and no change. I have however noticed that the theme I've tried to add to the original (that when the problem started) is not actually in the list of themes! It worked in the beginning, it was when I went back to my old theme that the problem started.

  It's the lightweightThemes.usedThemes pref that stores Persona data in JSON format, so it's probably OK because this implies a good amount of data, especially if you have a lot of lightweight themes installed.

  Firefox puts images of Persona as lightweighttheme-head and foot of page-lightweighttheme in the Firefox profile folder (default).
  The images will be resized and copied to the lwtheme folder and delete files in this folder to make Firefox to use a new character.
  The pref lightweightThemes.usedThemes must be true to make Firefox uses images of Persona.

  You can check the image files and you can possibly try to copy lightweighttheme-head and foot of page-lightweighttheme in the Thunderbird profile folder to the Firefox profile folder if they work in Thunderbird.
  You must remove the current files in the folder lwtheme to regenerate the files that will be used by Firefox.

• Add the button reload for the new theme?

  I know that I can go to the "Restorer of original theme" theme, but I don't like it. I want the button reload in the brand new theme! How can I get there? This should be a painless option to add, not force people to change the theme. I am sad to say that this is a slap in the face of the 'Œuvres the way that you do' immediate. If I want a button reload, I should be able to add it without compromising anything else the user interface. Maybe allow you to move the Refresh button in the address bar to where I like it?

  AHA... A previous thread that suggested "Restorer of original theme" was not clear. In the search to deactivate the theme presumed, I discovered that it is an extension, not a theme and that he was able to switch to the new chic look with a reload button where I like it.

  Maybe rename the extension so it is not so misleading. It seems a little weird that I need to install an add-on to get this feature of most basic functionality. Well... Solved.

  Maybe the theme installed fine in the background and firefox just needed a reboot to apply it.

• Once I finished installing a new theme, whenever I restart firefox for the third time, firefox will automatically restore the default theme. Solution?

  For eg., I installed the foxdie theme 4. He asked to restart to take effect. I rebooted and the theme changed to foxdie theme 4. But when I started the firefox for the next time, foxdie 4 theme disappeared. Firefox back to his previous theme. Its happens whenever I change new themes. Every time. With each themes.

• Photos app does not download new themes

  I'm on a Mac under OS X El Capitan (10.11.3) and in the Photos App (Version 1.3), I tried to download new themes from the book.  It seems "blocked" in the project of creation and a few laps.  The progress bar does nothing.  Can I force quit but would really like the new theme.  Ideas?

• Problem with creation of new theme of Keynote

  I am running the latest version of Keynote - 6.6.1 on El Capitan (10.11.3).

  I am trying to create a new theme to use in a range of teaching slides aprons, which includes my company logo and a copyright note. Sounds great on the Keynote itself slide, but when I try to use the feature 'Save theme' to add it to my theme selector, is not to store any new content - the image and the new text box are missing in the 'new' model.

  I did a quick search on the Internet in general and on this site, and I was not able to find any references for this as a known issue.

  Someone else has encountered this / do you know patches or workarounds?

  Objects must be placed on a Master slide must be integrated into a new theme: View > Edit Master Slide

  You can create as many slides of masters that you need to have a different content available.

  These options to see the calendar and messages are the themes of today. If your Christmas theme doesn't have a version 'today', it is not an option, you can add or switch. Inquire about this with your developer of theme where you bought or got the theme.

  have you tried to connect to the Adobe Color CC and see if you can find them on the site? Have you checked that you are in the right library? I hope looking at Community under your themes page you will recover what seems to be lost. Keep us updated!

• Cannot apply the new theme

  I work in Captivate 8 and I had 3 themes work interchangeably in CPTL file. I changed the theme and then saved the file CPTL and now I get an error message that it cannot apply again theme. Is there a way to fix this?

  This phenomenon happens only for a single file or all files cptx whereby you try to apply a new theme?

  If it is only one file, which probably means that it's corrupted. If this is the case for all files, try the usual steps to erase the corruption of Captivate:

  • Clear the cache
  • Update the Preferences folder (there is a file in the tools subfolder in the CP installation folder) that takes care of it)

  When you have installed the patch to CP8, upgrade to 8.0.1.242, did you delete folders preferences and page layouts?
