  A few days ago my themes worked well in Adobe Captivate 7.  I created a custom theme and now I see again the themes preloaded in the themes Panel, but when I click on a theme, I get the same error message "Failed to apply the new theme" any theme choose what project I am, or if it is a new or existing project.

  When I go to the slide master it shows some pre-series either.

  I checked my Adobe Captivate theme folder and it seems that the only thing there are skins now (although I'm not sure of what was there before).  I don't know how simply disappeared.  I even tried to uninstall / reinstall the product and for some reason, it does not.

  If you are on Windows, it is pretty easy.

  Close Captivate

  Right-click on the shortcut and look at the properties.

  Opinion on the properties is a button to open the location. Click it, and Windows Explorer opens.

  Starting location in the Solution Explorer, open the folder Utils.

  Double-click the CleanPreferencesWin.bat file. (Note that you can not see the part .bat, according to your settings in Windows)

  Now close the dialog box and restart Captivate.

  I have the same problem.  I deleted previous messages from my list of conversions, and now the phone won't show new conversations with the same people that were started fresh.  I also noticed that when a person to send a message, the messages are appearing.  It is a mess!

  If you click Display > pods > list of topics, you should see the pod Willam speaks. And inside this pod, you're able to press Ctrl + A to select all subjects. And it is certainly a valid way to associate several topics in the Master Page.

  Here's another one. If you look at the recipe for the presentation of unique Source of WebHelp, you should see an option that allows you to associate a master to all subjects Page as the result is created.

• Desire x 2 cannot install the new Windows 8

  Hello, my desire X 2 8 windows came preinstalled W8 32 bit edition.

  I'm trying to install Windows 8 Enterprise 64 edition to my desire X 2 b. I have my ISO file in DVD and USB, but when I boot to install, selecting DVD or USB before the HARD drive in the boot order, nothing happens and standard windows HARD disk starts. I try to choose my DVD or USB EFI but I do not see, I do something wrong? I know the USB and DVD is ok because I can install a folio 13 by applying the same USB without problem...

  Would it because they are 64 b W8? Is there a limitation in envy and only 32 b editions can be installed?

  Hello Vidya, thanks for your help. I used the download tool to create DVD and USB key. I still don't know why I can't install the USBs. I tried three different principles. None of them works.

  I am my output of an old Windows box to a new server migration and have problems with the new ports.  I have 6 installed instances and the last looks OK, but all the others get errors when all output is sent to them, even a Windows Test print. I have them all the same thing, with the format \\.\pipe\jetform\server5 configuration port

  When I installed the software, I installed all 6 instances then went through and added 6 local printer ports - it seemed to configure them OK this first time.

  My test was then on the 6th and last instance and went well.

  When I wanted to test the other forums, I found all simply erroneous jobs on the queue for the printer.

  If I have one of these printers connected to the 6th port, it worked fine.

  I deleted one of the ports that did not work and I tried to re-add. Then I got the message "the system cannot find the file specified."

  I tried to add the port via the registry - he added, but would not yet print.

• Themes suddenly stopped working after trying the new theme

  I installed a theme in TB and it looked nice, so I decided to try it in FF36.04. It worked, but when I tried to go back to my old theme (same author), it did not work and the area became top black with just the usual text. I tried to go back to my old theme (same author) that has worked well for years. When I went to modules. themes, it enumerates the different themes, but doesn't display photos. If you go to the specific page of the theme (by modules) it doesn't show the author's name and the theme as well as the button disable/remove, no picture or any other detail. It is the same for all themes.

  I tried adding a new topic randomly and it worked and displays the image on the themes tab, but others do not always work. They show different colors if I activate different themes, which I assume is the background.   Because a new theme worked, I could probably delete all my old themes and go and download them and install them again, but something went wrong and I would like to fix everything what it is, rather than leave perhaps a hidden problem.

  • • • Edit - just updated to FF37.0.1 and no change. I have however noticed that the theme I've tried to add to the original (that when the problem started) is not actually in the list of themes! It worked in the beginning, it was when I went back to my old theme that the problem started.

  It's the lightweightThemes.usedThemes pref that stores Persona data in JSON format, so it's probably OK because this implies a good amount of data, especially if you have a lot of lightweight themes installed.

  Firefox puts images of Persona as lightweighttheme-head and foot of page-lightweighttheme in the Firefox profile folder (default).
  The images will be resized and copied to the lwtheme folder and delete files in this folder to make Firefox to use a new character.
  The pref lightweightThemes.usedThemes must be true to make Firefox uses images of Persona.

  You can check the image files and you can possibly try to copy lightweighttheme-head and foot of page-lightweighttheme in the Thunderbird profile folder to the Firefox profile folder if they work in Thunderbird.
  You must remove the current files in the folder lwtheme to regenerate the files that will be used by Firefox.
