  So my 5s will not store all photos taken with the built-in Photo App. I can shoot and store the video with the built in app but no pictures. If I use the photo taking function in the Facebook app, the phone will take and store the image in the area of the Photos on the phone, no problem.   I just got a new laptop Windows 8. Right out of the box, a bunch of applications to be updated, but they all get stuck on "pending" and will not download. I am very disappointed by the lack of "out of the box' maneuverability. How can I get these applications to update and download?

  I found these steps on a different thread and gave them a try, and subsequently my updates downloaded and installed properly.  Force the update service to create a new folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution seems to fix the problem:

  2. Type the following commands to four in the command prompt:

  Of all the tips above and in another thread (corrupted profile user, indexing, security and permissions - which I tried!), uninstall Kaspersky (on their website, you can not do it from the control panel) without a doubt for me. Because I don't feel comfortable with Windows Defender alone, I installed McAfee and continue without any problem with the Apps.
