• APEX Logout / Login issues.

  Hi all

  I use APEX 5.0.1 and created a custom authentication based on the table.

  In the table, there are USER ID and CUSTOMER ID columns.

  For example: Userid = USERTWO

  CUSTOMER ID = CLIENT-ABC

  When we connect to the application usually in the upper left corner, it will display the USER ID that currently connect in the application as below.

  

  Issues related to the:

  1 is it possible instead to display the USER ID, I want to display the CUSTOMER ID? If so, how?

  2. when we logout, is possible that we can close the page instead of back to the page to login or to redirect to another URL?

  Please give me some advice / guidance on these issues.

  (1) content here is defined in the list of navigation bar, located in the shared components. This entry will probably be user & APP_USER. as the label if you can change this to your own domain.

  (2) would be probably a few ways to do this, even if I never tried. The logout url is defined in the current authentication scheme. You can change this option to include a request in the login page that will trigger a dynamic action to close the window.

  That is to say:

  f? p = &: LOGIN::CLOSEME AUTH_APP.

  Then add DA with condition

  : ASK = "CLOSEME."

• ApEx Workspace default Login stopped working?

  I have several workspaces. I'm sure that, up to what a couple of weeks whenever I opened my ApEx for the development of the field of the workspace would be pre-filled with the last workspace I was in. Now he is still by default in a particular workspace, 'imr_ws', but I usually work in "bud_ws".
  
  This is clearly not a crucial issue - more than one gene. However, can someone confirm for me you were the domain of the default workspace to the last workspace whenever you open a fresh connection to ApEx? If so, is it possible to make do again?

  User name and the name of workspace the workspace login page fields are filled with the information stored in the cookie named ORA_WWV_REMEMBER_UN. This cookie is sent to your browser when you connect if the site administrator has defined the Set Workspace Cookie on Yes option by using apex_admin to Home > Service Management > Security.

  You can have spaces to work as much as you want, and to create a WS is a 2 minute process.

  Keep in mind the following restrictions, however, can help you decide how much you want WS:

  -If you want your users to connect only once and access all the applications they have access, without the need to connect again for each application, all applications must be in the same workspace.
  -Referencing (re-use) of objects of applications (templates, LOVs etc.) can only be made between applications in the same workspace.
  -Developer accounts must be created for each workspace that developers need to work, which can be difficult to maintain.

  For these reasons, here we have only one workspace for all our applications. In addition, developers can have their own private workspace, if necessary, to experiment and to test.

  There may be other things to consider, but those who are most important to me.

• Problem with website security cerificates. Said the security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website address.

  Problem began the week last with Verizon's Yahoo email. I can't access it. I get the message on the certificate.  Said the security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website address.  can hnts in and out of yahoo, but can not get by e-mail. I have Windows vista 32-bit home. Have tried several things offered by yahoo... Delete history, cookies, defragment the drive hard, etc. Then they said need to ask Verizon. Community sitting there, no response. I had a help line, but what they had me try did not work. Could not do the download help remotely, I tried Java plugin download, has got an error 12031, and a Microsoft fix it but none of it worked. Could not load. Then they said it was having problems with Microsoft windows problems. Error files, corrupted files and certificate & register...  I did a few other things too but do not know if someone can help me... Not even if I am in the right place.  I really hope that someone can help you.

• Connection of Jasper is my apex workspace

  I've been reading upward on reporting solutions other than BI Publisher (because of cost) and would like to have a game with Jasper Reports on my Oracle (my environment in https://apex.oracle.com/en/) workspace.

  I installed Jaspersoft iReport Designer 5.5.1 and am trying to connect via a JDBC connection (do not know if I should use another connection) and tried on by following the steps of the presentation on the Integration of Jasper Opal-Consulting - free tools - reports

  Can someone tell me the values that I have to enter in the following areas:

  JDBC driver: Not reimbursed as PostgreSQL (org.postgresql.Driver)

  JDBC URL: Defauled as jdbc:postgresql://localhost:5432 / DatabaseName

  
  

  The workspace is obviously in apex v5, but the environment in which I will eventually want to work with is v4.2

  PS - I tried to add PL-jrxml2pdf to my workspace, but it fails (support items do not have installed).  Tried to install it in 4.2 (our production environment), as well as objects of created support OK.

  Don't think that you will be able to connect to your instance with jdbc on apex.oracle.com.  My suggestion would be to download XE and make your tests in this way.  Oracle does NOT allow access via external things like that...

• After mistakes XDB, cannot enter the APEX workspace

  Hi all
  for some reason, I don't know why, I got error XBD then try to connect:

  A user name and password are being requested by http://localhost.com:8080. The site says: "XDB"

  Then, I unblocked the anonymous user schema and renewed his password. He brought me to the Apex login page but with no image (text only). However I couldn't logged into the workspace.
  
  So I thought that something was corrupt, even though I had worked before and I had not changed anything from there.
  
  So I did this chained attempts:
  1 password unlocked and renewed account XBD
  2 password unlocked and renewed account APEX_040000
  3. run @apex_epg_config.sql $ORACLE_HOME
  4. explicitly specified the location of the image when l'execution./apex.war listener
  
  But none of the attempt to correct the problem. Has anyone had this problem before? What is the cause? How can I fix? Help, please...

  Hello Val,

  Note that there is a difference between the use of the EPG and auditor of the APEX. Both are web servers to host an instance of the APEX, but in fact, the two are independent services. If you use the EPG, you must load the images of the APEX in the XDB as well. This is usually done when calling/apex_epg_config.sql, but I don't know if you set your ORACLE_HOME in the directory that you have unpacked the APEX installation package to.
  Also, make sure that you have unlocked the ANONYMOUS database user, which is used by the EPG. (see [url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17556_01/doc/install.40/e15513/otn_install.htm#CHDEIGGI] Installation Guide for APEX)

  Anyway, you shouldn't start simultaneously APEX earpiece and EPG (XDB HTTP Server) on the same port, you will have a port conflict then. Change the port for the listener to the APEX or the port for the XDB HTTP server.

  For the listener of the APEX, you can add the parameter = apex.port to the commissioning, for example

  java -Dapex.port=8081 -jar apex.war
  

  For the EPG, you can run

  exec dbms_xdb.sethttpport(8081);
  commit;
  

  If this is configured properly, without conflicts, you should be able to run EPG and APEX listener next to each other.

• BlackBerry Z30 Blackberry Z30 e-mail ID login issue (red exclamation)

  I changed/created new connection (address e-mail/password) on the site Web de Blackberry information. Then I security wiped the phone back.   I'm having serious problems, get the coming newly installed v11.1.2.3.0 workspace page because it is always with a white page with no content whatsoever (see photo), regardless the following URL being launched in a MS IE or Firefox (with Remote XUL Manager) browser session:

  I did some research, and then applied a number of recommendations in various positions in this area and other forums... to no avail. The same behavior is shown as shown in the attached photo.

  
  On server side, all Services related to Oracle Windows are running without any problem. On the Oracle WebLogic Server, what follows is servers are displayed:

  -AdminServer (Admin) race and healthy listening on port 7001 with no grouping;

  -EPMServer0 healthy running and listening on port 9000 in the EPMServer cluster on machine GAZSYDHYP03;

  -FoundationServices0 race and healthy listening on port 28080 in the FoundationServices cluster on machine GAZSYDHYP03;

  -Planning0 healthy running and listening on port 7001 in the cluster of planning on the GAZSYDHYP02 machine.

  -Planning of the depenses1 healthy running and listening on port 7001 in the cluster of planning on the GAZSYDHYP03 machine.

  
  Regarding OSH, I've set up to point to a shared location that is accessible to all the servers in the //GAZSYDHYP01/SharedFiles/Data/OHS directory (see also "console ~ OHS ~ 1.log content file ' and 'mod_wl_ohs.conf' sections below).

  
  What is interesting is that the EPM System Diagnostic Utility on the server GAZSYDHYP03 running, produces inconsistent results: sometimes and no changes whatsoever, I'll have green results in all areas while other times, I'll have most of the results in the red.

  
  I thought that OHS has been crashing then restarting on its own so I followed the recommendations included in Doc-ID 1533185.1 , Doc-ID 1345355.1 ... but to no avail, even after restarting the servers.

  All,

  It has been a few days since my original post and thanks to a very professional Support Oracle, it has now been resolved by using what you have me approaches\steps undocumented (see order below). I strongly recommend talking to Oracle Support before running the following steps:

  1. on 3 servers, stop all services of Windows Oracle-related;

  2. on 3 servers, open a DOS window as an administrator and remove all Oracle Windows services by using the command "sc delete "; confirm that Windows services all related to Oracle had been removed by updating the 'Services' dialog box open by clicking Start > administrative tools > Services;

  3. on 3 servers, remove the C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects directory and all subdirectories underlying;

  4 using the application of MS SQL Server Management Studio, log on to the database server then drop used databases; Re-create the databases again according to the specifications (i.e., in accordance with the section "Preparation of a database" Oracle EPM Installation & Configuration Manual);

  5. on the FNDHOST1 server, run the EPM system configurator and install groups of applications at the same time (for example, Foundation Hyperion then EPMA and then Reporting and analysis then EN WA, etc.), and then deploy.

  6. on the ESSHOST1, execution of the EPM system Configurator Server and install Essbase before you deploy and start the Essbase Windows service;

  7. on the PLANHOST1 server, run the EPM system configurator and install planning prior to deployment and the Windows schedule service startup;

  8. on the FNDHOST1 server, start all Windows services in the correct sequence when searching in relevant to each Wndows Service log files if the Windows Service in question has been started correctly. Start the service Windows in the sequence; Once all the Services Windows will have been started correctly and confirmed as such of their relevant log files, run the Oracle WebLogic Server administration console and check if all the Applications Web in Java have been started correctly;

  9. on 3 servers, launch the EPM System diagnosis application and confirm that it's all green, all areas;

  10. in a session of MS IE browser on the client computer, launch the page in the workspace by using the URL http://gazsydhyp03.mycomp.com.au:19000/workspace/index.jsp ... and voila.

  As mentioned above, the above steps are rather radical approach and it would be better to talk to a knowledgeable person to support Oracle before performing the steps listed in question.

• APEX workspace database privileges

  We have a production environment 4.2 APEX where the development of the user interface has been uninstalled some time ago.  I installed today and tried to create a pattern, however, there is a permissions error.  Under the INTERNAL user > "Workspace of database privileges", is to show missing DB privileges:

  I know it's my problem, however, I do not know how to change these permissions.  Granting the foregoing to 'APEX_040200' failed.  Can anyone help?  I spent hours trying to figure it out!

• APEX dynamic Action issue with custom button template

  A new day and a new problem. -.-

  I wanted to create a dynamic action, if a button is clicked and got the error "the selected button uses a 'button model' which does not contain the #BUTTON_ID substitution string #. So I googled a bit und found issue with action Dynamics apex. I thought that this would solve my problem and I looked in the model button to find this:

  It is a decision of implementation in Firefox. You need to add a CSS rule for the style of the text placeholder in Firefox:

  I have a requirement for a login page of custom Apex in which connection area must be located on the right side. The rest of the page is a background image. I know how to change the page template to add the background image, but have been unable to do in the region of connection to right-align.

  OK - for this theme, add styl e = "" float: right; " " immediately after the div id = "login" text (i.e. in the same tag)

  (extra space in 'style' added to stop the tag are used in the post)
