I get this error, Thunking spooler APIs from 32 to 64 process ceased to function, that when I try to print my bank statement which is in the format pdf from my Bank Web site. Otherwise I am able to print from other applications, including Microsoft Office 2000 applications. I am running Vista Home Premium 64 on a laptop Dell Inspiron very new. I already uninstalled the printer several times and that you have downloaded your uninstall cleanup utility, none of this has worked. In addition, no other threads in the forum seem to be like mine. I was able to print from this site as a first step, but are not able to since a few months now. Is this a compatibility issue with the software that is using my bank or is there another problem. My wife has a similar laptop with XP OS and I can print the declaration of his fine form.
Thanks for any help on this matter.

I just had the same problem a couple of days.  After uninstalling my printer drivers and reinstall, I always had the same problem.  I tried a few suggestions on these posts, but still nothing.  When I opened my printers in the Control Panel, I found three other printers listed two for quicken and Microsoft office, I deleted these (but not my original HP inkjet printer) and it worked. Hope this helps someone else.

  • Print to PDF - Thunking spooler stops working

When you print a document in Word 2007 to create a PDF file (I have Acrobat 9), I now get an error message that says "Thunking spooler APIs from 32 to 64 process has stopped working".  The PDF is created, but that part of the document is printed.  I did that for awhile on this system, XP Edition Vista 64 family, without problem.  But recently it started and I can't create PDF documents in Word 2007.  When searching on the microsoft.com site, I can't find anything on it.  Thanks in advance for any help.

    markbgardner,
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum.

If it is a 64-bit version of Vista, then your problem may be related to the try to print from a 32-bit program on a 64-bit operating system.  There is a fix for this problem here:
You experience problems when you try to print a document in a 32-bit program on a computer that is running a 64 bit version of Windows Vista
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/941962/en-us

If that solves not, try to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver.  It is possible that the drive got corrupted.

Also try to run a System File Checker:
To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
Right click on cmd in the list programs, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
At the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:
    sfc/scannow
When the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.

If this does not work, you can do a system restore to a point in time where he worked:
To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:
Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
In the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
In the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
    Click Finish.
The computer restarts and system files and settings are back to the State they were in when the restore point was created.

  • AP thunking spooler does not work

Unable to properly print a verification email, for example aircraft bookings, etc. Error message is: THUNKING SPOOLER APIs FROM 32 to 64 PROCESS has STOPPED WORKING. Help, please.

Read the following article to see if it applies: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941962/en-us.

If this does not work, go to start / Control Panel / Printers and check for all printers that are not your printer (or other printers you use).  Delete the others that you do not recognize.  See if that fixes the problem.

If this does not work, try to bypass the spooler to avoid this error msg (this is just a suggestion - I don't know if it works in this case).

Start > Control Panel > printers > right click on printer icon > advanced > print directly to the printer. (this allows to bypass the spooler).

Although this may not solve the problem with the spooler, it may at least allow you to print (which is a start).

    I hope this helps.

  • AC100 - the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly

Our AC100 suffers from frequent and annoying messages: the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly (well it is said in Dutch, so I hope that the translation is good). After googeling I found many people with the same problems (but for other devices as a computer of Toshiba), and it seems that the only solution is to reset the original settings (after having a back-up).

But since everything downloaded widgets and applications will be gone then, I'm looking for another option. Does anyone have any experience with this message? How you solve the problem?

And who knows how starts this problems?

    Hello

I also recommend the return parameter of the Android to the factory settings. The widget could be saved on external source before setting the notebook to factory settings.

  • Windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working

Is a general Vista problem and also a general problem of Thinkpad, but it has what I feel to be a frequency among the W500s so I thought to post it here.

In recent weeks, I got this error (Windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working) several times. A lot of googleing will tell you that it can be caused by a number of things, for example other video programs, Nero burning software, video codecs and burning software and the ATI catalyst control center.

For me, uninstalling the ATI catalyst control center and the rest of the correction of the error of video card drivers. Resettlement has reduced. Uninstall them and then only by reinstalling the driver first, then check catalytic Center later after another reboot all reinstalled successfully and also got rid of the error.

However, two days ago I updated my lenovo Power Manager and after the next restart, I started getting this error again. I tried the trick with video drivers, but this time I was not so lucky. Uninstall them completely is not even get rid of the error. I think only it is the new power manager I uninstalled everything and somehow got rid of the error.

I'm about to reinstall the power manager and I hope he's not bring error.

Another thing, I found that can cause this error:

I'd just do a fresh install of vista and lenovo apps + Manager supply and everything worked. Since I never use the optical drive, I went to the Device Manager and disabled, which gave me the error Rundll32.exe about 60 seconds later, and this caused again Manager power to stop working, even after that it recharges.

I finally understand that disabling my optical drive Springs somehow this error on me which then also stops Power Manager. The optical drive from the reactivation got rid of the error immediately.

  • Windows host process Rundll32 has stopped working ONLY at startup on the desktop.

When I start my Dell Inspiron 531 after that sign in the screen will Dim twice for a few seconds then the Windows host process Rundll32 has stopped working window appears. If you close another small window exactly the same error message mentioned above tells you that Windows will look for a solution but NEVER done. I use AOL version 9.0, I can sign and the big surf for dial-up access. I tried to download free Kaspersky on their site and an error message said it was incomplete or corrupted. I have Windows Security Essentials, Stopzilla, CCleaner, Glary Utilities, you run sfc/scannow, it cleaned up a few files and he tells me that he has no integrity problem after 4 scans. The big short PC but what the _ is causing this Rundll32 error and why is there NO information specific on how to solve this problem? Also Internet Explorer cascades tiles and diverts the PC sometimes force a quick stop, it's really weird to see, very rare but happens. Systerac Fix of Windows crashes after starting an analysis on current user files, really strange, as if something is trying to stop him on purpose. I wish that Microsoft would really worry about the Rundll32 error of work ceased and tell us customers how to fix this shit it is very boring I'll tell you. I want that my host process Rundll32 to work as it did for the past 2 years with no error message at startup. He never gives me these messages while I use the Internet. There are many pages of misinformation out there, can some Microsoft Engineer please give me that a definitive answer in particular to the Windows host process Rundll32 has ceased to function the error at startup ONLY and tell me how to fix Rundll32 file or the process, it would be greatly appreciated? • Vista print spooler stops

The print in Vista spooler stops when I try to print. He said the strategy adopted by the DEP. All printers disappear. I have to manually restart the spooler service (it is set for the recovery of the car) and it can print for a bit, but the spooler stops again.

    Hello

Since it is a DEP issue with a printer that could be a problem of IE (which concern Explorer and other functions of the system),
a spooler problem, or both. Frankly I don't know that I have 1 but I'd probably use these
    Methods.

EricLaw IEInternals - a peek at Internet Explorer from inside. -Understanding DEP/NX
    http://blogs.msdn.com/ieinternals/archive/2009/10/10/understanding-data-execution-prevention-crashes-in-IE8.aspx

The problem might actually be an add-on or another program to the origin of the problem and you should check that
    1st.

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you have NEVER on it
machines, including those that you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

Start - all programs - Accessores - system tools - IE with no Addons - does this work better?

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security - reset all Zones by default level - apply / OK

    not better?

Close IE and try again IE or IE with no Addons

IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install
"(and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again)." Search for other possible problems.

Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right. Permit
are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program to ask about it here.

Could be that a BHO - BHOremover - free - standalone program, needs no installation, download and run - not all
are bad, but some can cause your question. (Toolbars are BHO)
