• BB 10 Dev Alpha Simulator 10.1 beta - screen resolution

  I couldn't get my Android app BAR file to install on the current version of the BB 10 Dev Alpha Simulator (10.0.10.261) so I tried to install the Beta 10.1 Simulator and my app installed first and short big.  The only problem is the screen seems to be much smaller than the 10.0.10.261 version, I read in the release notes that the resolution is only 720 x 720.  Is it possible to change this?  Or can we expect a resolution screen than the final version?

• Exec format error when try to debug on 4.6 FB Playbook

  Hi all

  I recently got a new Macbook Pro and have Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 and Playbook SDK 2.0 installed. But when I tried to debug my application on the device, I got "Exec format error" after my application on the device. The application icon is not clickable b/c, it blocks every time.

  The dev env everything is new. Lion, the new cert and debugging token system. I was able to debug my Windows PC unit. So I think that the camera is good.

  Anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

  PS, FB 4.6 was able to detect the device successfully and download the token of debugging on the device (via USB connection). So I think that the communication between Mac and Playbook should be good.

  U can not find the icon of the mode of development in the Simulator. What you have to do, it is after switching to the mode of development for sure, go into settings,-> select network from the drop-down list-> note in ipv4 ip address... And it's ip address, you use the mode of development.

  If your application manifest patch completed successfully, you should be able to use adadmin, I guess.

  Can you post every steps you performed with the controls probably. Automatic configuration of installation completed without problems?

  I know it's hard to fix something like that, but maybe that someone has faced problems with graphicsview?

  Well, got running and have really no idea what I did. Let's see if I can fix the remaining bugs.

  Edit: once I got the correct libraries loaded, I think it's mistakes in qml who crashed the app.

  I tried to transfer my PB to BB10 application and has encountered a problem with dropdown lists jQueryMobile. When I clicked on one of them I could not do anything else in the application (web Inspector remote display any errors in the console).

• Impossible to get apps working on Dev Alpha WebWorks

  I was not able to get any application WebWorks has been working successfully on my alpha dev device.

  I downloaded the bbjs.ui repo and you want to run a few samples. Therefore I replaced the WebWorks js with the last 1.0.1.17 file in the source for the project and made the index file to the new js file. Same thing as even the other sample applications, I tried.

  Found the problem. Ripple has a bug long pending that deploys the bar Simulator instead of the bar of the unit regardless of whether the IP of the target is for a device or a simulator.

• Cannot open applications on BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Simulator

  I try to use the Alpha of Dev (10.0.10.261) Simulator, 10 BB with VMPlayer 5.0.1 on Windows 7 64 bit.  The Simulator seems to start OK, even if I have to choose (option 2) safe mode when the virtual machine starts because the normal mode always hangs when starting.  The splash screen appears followed by the home screen with the default application icons.  The home screen responds to clicks, but whenever I try to click on an application to launch (settings of the calendar/contacts/etc.), the icons in the home screen slide off the screen to the right and then reappear about 6 seconds later and the application does not start.  The same thing happens if I click on 'Settings' in the options slide down from the top of the screen.  Y at - it something I am doing wrong?

  In my Dev Simulator, since today morning, I get the error "Could not resolve the host name", whenever I have to load a url in the browser. I've seen a lot of posts where people have reported that for the PB.
