BlackBerry Z10 passwords password Keeper app restore

Hello

I use a version of the OS BB Z10 10.2.1.3062

I did a fulle backup my phone earlier in the year (July)

A couple of weeks my phone has started to give me problems and I had to reboot.

I decided not to do a full restore.

I tried to restore my password for my password Keeper application, but it did not.

I also tried the suggestion in

http://BTSC.webapps.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/ViewDocument.do?externalId=KB33623&sliceId=2&cmd=displayKC&d...

but it did not work. After the restoration, the app will be available, when I open it, it will ask me to enter a new master password and there is no password in the vault.

Please help

Thank you

If you did a custom restore, you should restore 'Data Device Settings, calendar' & Contacts, to recharge the password keeper.

    Hi James,

Yes, 10 BlackBerry devices have password Keeper. You just need to download from BlackBerry App World. You can find it here:

    I hope this info helps!

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now, try again the password Keeper password.

  • Sync blackBerry classic password Keeper cloud

Another small problem with my classic Blackberry...   When I use my password Keeper (a few times a month), he eventually sync when I need to quickly check a password.  Then I need to wait for what seems like an enternity finally confirm my password.

I searched for a way to disable the synchronization of clouds or determine a way to reduce its presence.  For now, I just turn on airplane Mode, then use this feature.  Unfortunately, I lose all connectivity when I'm looking for a password.  Of course, there's a better way to solve this problem?

Your passwords should be read as long as it's syncing. If they are not, check BBWorld for an update to the password keeper.

    Help?

    Hi @robert45

Unfortunately it is not possible to import passwords from external sources like your iMac.

The only option is to manually add the entries, sorry!

  • Smartphones blackBerry and password keeper profiles

    1. Why are disabled profiles and this should be turned on?  It is an x on the top left speaker and also in the menu.
    2. Password I guess I put by mistake a password to protect passwords in the guardian and now do not remember what is the goalkeeper. I have a lot of passwords and want to use this facility. How work and how stop he asks me a password to open it?

    Shane Aurousseau

    1. you cannot disable profiles ' ", but you can choose or change profiles. The red X by the speaker means that you are in a quiet profile (no noise, no speaker). Open your profiles and choose another, as normal or another.

    2. you can't make it stop asking, but you can repeatedly enter the wrong password for password keeper (10 I think) and it will clear all information in password keeper only. Cool, you can use the application to define once again, a NEW password that you will remember.

Keeper password and several other minor applications were missing - when I tried to "install" via the Mac desktop, I was unable to do so.  The installation failed because of "unresolved dependencies.

My solution has been to use Desktop 6.1.0.35 on a Windows computer.  Password Keeper has been installed without difficulty and all is well so far.

  • Keeper password blackBerry Z10

I have a Z10 who, over the last 2 weeks, I tried to make it work. They even sent me another phone that I tried to install my backup, but I still get questions with impossible to send texts, used address book full charge, the battery will drain in 2 hours with the phone just sitting there. I think there is a problem with my backup, and the only thing I care to save it on my phone is the password keeper. Is it possible to just back upward and on the phone after you have reset to its default value of load?

Here's what I'd do. to do this, the unit must be on Mac OS 10.2 or higher. Can you check the version for me in circles > on? What version of the OS?

Once this is done, if your owner password data on the phone now, connect to BBWorld and make sure you're on the latest version of PK. It must be 10.2.0.44. If this is not the case, the update.

Once you have this laid open version PK and slide down and go into the settings. Click on export passwords and save the file on your map of media (not the memory of the device.) If you don't have a memory card and have only access to the memory of the device that you want to transfer this file to your computer or save it somewhere so that you can come back after a reset.

Once you get your passwords exported to a file, do a cleaning of security on the device and start fresh. You can then return to PK and import back in passwords.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones after switch of the device to the same model, BB missing Apps (like cards and password keeper)

I had problems for a long time with my keyboard on my BB Bold 9900, so finally I was given a used to toggle Bold 9900. I have used the functionality of the switch device of BlackBerry Desktop (v7.1) software and was off and running on my 'new' "BOLD". Finally, I noticed that the cards and password keeper are missing on my new phone. I did a lot of digging through our corporate HelpDesk, phone call from mobile provider support, and if Google search (incl. various BlackBerry support forums). Nowhere is that I found a solution that worked.

A number of sources did the download card www.blackberry.com/ but that results in a message of "Opinion sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry Maps."

When I look in the Applications tab of BB Desktop Software, BlackBerry Maps is not listed (is not password keeper).

Two of my phones are running OS 7.1 Bundle 2840. Carrier SaskTel (part of the network of Bell Mobility).

    Any ideas?

From what you describe, something is not right when you installed/updated / switched devices. Thus, a clean reload of the OS would be the right thing to do. The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:
