App verification after reformat

Last year I bought my first Macbook and "Scrivener" from the App Store after get the hang of the OS and the app I have reformatted my HDD to clean, install the operating system from scratch.  Now, whenever I run the app, Scrivener he must check online.  The exact wording of the line is as follows:

'Scriviner' was purchased via the App Store on a different computer. To use "Scriviner" on this computer, sign in with the Apple ID and password used to buy it.

Every time the power or the internet came out I can't check the application, which means that I can't use it at all.  How can I convince my Mac it's always the same computer? The worst can I buy the app again somehow and just learn that you never reformat a Mac?  On my PS4 there is an option to "Make this my primary PS4," is there anything like this for Mac? I can't imagine the MAC address or the serial number of the computer has changed during a reformat and new OS install, but anyway the computer thinks it is changed.  Which refers the operating system to see which computer it is?  What reference is stored by the app store to find out which computer on which it has been downloaded?

I use El Capitan 10.11.3 version

I have only one Apple ID and I can confirm that I bought the application on this computer using my ID

The program worked offline before you reformat the drive

I am the only user/login to the computer

Scrivener shows in my purchase history

Scrivener appears in my search for Spotlight and can be launched when I'm online.

I deleted the app and reinstalled again for good measure.

I don't know how frequently the application should check (because it does it automatically in the background when internet is enabled) and once I have check online and turn off the wifi it will work for a few days, perhaps before they have to be retested.

Thanks in advance for any response.

Maybe something stupid, but don't you contact the developers?

  • cannot change region on the App Store after the cancellation of the apple music membership

I can't change the country on the app store after the cancellation of subscription music apple (turn off auto-renewal), still getting the same message "To change stores, you must first cancel your membership of Apple's music"

    Hello, TanBrar.

It seems that you are unable to change your country on your App Store because you always get a message to cancel the Apple music, even if you have already done.  The following Knowledge Base article provides clarification on the manner in which the process of cancellation of Apple's music ends:

Manage your membership Apple music on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or PC

Disable the automatic renewal, cancel your membership

If you wish to cancel your subscription of Apple's music, turn off the auto-renewal.

Your membership may be renewed if you don't turn off your automatic renewal 8 hours or more before your renewal date.

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    1. In the music application, press your profile icon in the upper left corner.
    2. Click on View Apple ID. You may need to connect.
    3. Under subscriptions, click on manage. If you have more than one subscription, type on your membership (membership of music Apple) to see your membership options.
    4. Under renewal Options, disable the automatic renewal. Confirm your selection, and touch done.

If you don't see the option to disable the automatic renewal, your subscription will automatically stop at the end of the current billing cycle.
    5. Press done to return to the screen of your account and then press done to return to the application.

As shown in the image and the description of step 4, the subscription stops at the end of the billing cycle. After this date, you should be able to complete the change of your App Store:

Change your iTunes Store country or region

  • need to reinstall updates after reformat

I have to go to the cumbersome process of reinstall all updates when I reformat the hard drive of my laptop?

Lenovo has created three partitions on the hard drive installed. The smallest drive C contains Windows and software pre-installed. And I was told that the C drive should NOT be resized if not the OneKey recovery no longer work. But we are given the D drive which is MUCH bigger to contain all my personal data.

updates take up a lot of my disk drive of the insignificant C, 19 GB space, which, in the end, let me about 700 MB to work with installing progs more. with do I find n reinstall every single update after reformatting the hard drive or do a system restore point? in this way he doesn't eat any more space in my C drive good?

If not, grateful if you can advice me how to handle this accordingly.

    Hello Vanity.sha,

Thanks for your reply.  A new installation of any operating system takes about 2-4 GB of space in the partition & after OneKey recovery on system should have been about 75% of free space available. I think there could be some unwanted files & folders on your system, so try to free the C: drive & then try to deploy the update for Vista.

In addition, Microsoft & 3rd-party application has the ability to store the program files on all available disks, you can install these applications depending on the free space.

    I hope this helps.

My multimedia audio controller, Device Manager has a yellow question mark and a code 28 by the bit of General properties. It's a Dell Dimension 2350 with SP3. Just let the Hardware Wizard find the driver for me?

Click on the link above, all your system drivers are here.

Expand the Audio, there is only one pilot, click on download, note when you save the file in.

Double-click the file to install the driver.

Save the link above if you need others.

If you have the CD Drivers and Utilities provided with the system, the drivers are on the CD.

Yes, you can leave the installer for you, also Windows Update installs for you, but it is preferable to install yourself, Windows makes mistakes!

  • Rig crashes even after reformatting, heavy registry problems.

Hello, I am building this computer in Dec 07, and it was working well until recently. I came one day at home in a very annoying virus and decided to just reformat since AVG and such could not find it. After that I managed to do reformat there great for about a week, then I started to have increase the registry errors, files missing, things like that. I tried to correct as I will, but many seem to just keep coming.

I am now at the point where I can't complete the Windows Update, is now telling me to do it because when it restarts the login screen does not load. I'm that attribute to a facility missed some video drivers. When I will not start I have 5-6 errors in a line saying that various registry files are missing. I tried sfc/scannow, and it fails to end at 52%, as many others. /CHKDSK does not resolve the problem. Run the Vista installation CD and tried all the options such as the Startup Repair and repair memory (forget what it's called). My internal Sata HDD is also detected as removable storage among other issues. I'm running out of ideas as to why it is so bad that my HD or RAM is corrupted somehow. Any comments would be great.

    Hi Stolemyname,

    1. are you able to boot into Windows?

    2. have you made further changes on the computer after reformatting the hard drive?

I suggest that you scan and remove any viruses or computer malware infection and check if it helps.

The scan below only works on the 32-bit version of Windows

    http://OneCare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm

You can use the Microsoft security essentials to scan your computer

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security_essentials/

Also, check if the problem persists in safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Restart the computer to return to normal mode

  • After reformat Vista become Windws NT

After reformatting my laptop, I tried to reload Word Perfect 9.  I get a message that it does not work on NT, my Vista became NT, how can I change this back?

    Thank you

WordPerfect 9 is about ten years.

Windows Vista is derived from Windows NT, and WordPerfect programmers could not predict a decade that a version of Windows may be appointed so they probably went with what they knew at the time.

You can try to install the program in compatibility mode for a previous operating system.
