  • App Apple Watch Timer is setting alarms

I see a weird behavior with the OS3 timer app Watch: when the countdown is reached, I get the usual "done timer' screen with the bell sounds and the haptic feedback. I type the 'Stop' and stop the alerts. So far so good, but after 1 or 2 seconds, an alarm goes off saying "COUNT_DOWN_TIME_REACHED". Of course, I know that, I just rejected in the clock application so why also the notifications of alarms app? This never happened in OS1 and OS2. Is it supposed to be a 'novelty' for OS3? Is it possible to disable it?

    Restart your Apple Watch

    1. Hold down the side button until you see the cursor off the power.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
    3. Once your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

    Then try the timer.

    Hello

Apple Watch can be placed bedside table, allowing you to use your watch as next to the clock with optional alarm mode:

    • Make sure the option is turned on: on your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to My Watch (tab) > General > scroll mode bedside table.
    • Connect your watch to its charger (with power connected) or connect it to a magnetic charging Dock Apple Watch:
      • Place your watch on the side with the buttons facing up.
    • To see the time, tap the screen or slightly shift your watch:
      • By design, when the watch is in this mode, pushing even your bedside table may be sufficient.
    • If you also set an alarm with the alarm clock app on your watch, it will warn you at the specified time.

  • Its too strong Apple Watch after alarm or timer

    Hi all

I noticed something very odd on the Apple Watch, whenever I put a timer or a clock radio, when it sounds to wake me up or to tell me that the timer is finished. It makes the sound on Apple Watch very strong after that. For example, when you receive notifications, send messages, etc. it's like the volume is two times stronger than before...

The only solution I found is to restart the watch or to go into the settings, turn down the volume all the way, and then I put the volume to full. It seems the ring timer or alarm to change the volume of the watch.

  • Apple Watch Shake to alarm screen function

    This is a feature request.

Imagine yourself in a metro/bus holding a bracelet with your Apple Watch on this wrist.

Plus you have a bag or an umbrella in the other hand. Now, you have two options to find out what the time:

    1. let pass the strap, put down your arm and raise it to see your watch dial.
    2. you could ask someone

If I could only shake my watch to see my face of the watch while I still hold the strap.

The solution is obviously a function "shake to reactivate the display. Is it not?

  • My Apple Watch is triggering security store alarms

This weekend, I'm leaving the store's security at a local store and then yesterday again go into Best Buy.  At best buy the security guy suggested that I my Apple Watch off the coast and he gave it through security and it exploded.  It is very annoying and translates to me stopped, checked I have now, I have to explain my watch is the cause.  I saw post of previous years on this subject.  Has anyone figured out why this happens and how can I stop it?

    Thank you

    KC

Have you asked these stores if they have seen this problem with other Apple watches? I guess they have RFID sensors any and they pick you up on the watch. As it doesn't seem to be a common problem in particular, I think that there is something about these particular theft protection systems. I don't know enough about for them to know if they are somehow adjustable but it might be something that you might suggest.

There is no way to disable the NFC in the Apple Watch, I know.

  • Duplicate messages in Apple Watch?

Since the upgrade to the latest os from the watch, I get two alarms when I set my timer. The first is the regular advising me that the timer is done. Then about twenty or thirty seconds later, I get another warned that the alarm is over! I use the timer application much and simply cannot meet these additional notifications? I tried to find a way to stop them, but failed.

No idea how I can get this second notification to quit advising me?

  • Bad Apple Watch - Venezuela time

recently in Venezuela, they changed the time by removing a half-hour of chavez.

Now, the phone is fine and displays the correct time but iWatch remained with half an hour of Chavez. I solved it by changing to 30 minutes in the watch of installation, but not good because the alarm clock and all the rest shows me the wrong time.

    How can I solve?

    Hello

One solution suggested by another user is to set the timezone manually in San Juan, Puerto Rico:

-On your iPhone, go to: settings > general > Date & time > turn off the value automatically > type on the time zone and the search for San Juan, PR

Note that the existing calendar event calendar, reminders, etc. may remain imprecise.

It can help to restart your iPhone and Apple Watch after you make this change (turn the two together off the coast, then restart your iPhone first).

  • IPhone requires data to use Apple Watch

My wife does not require the use of the data, but she would like to get an iphone and a Apple Watch, will work to watch if she gets only a plan and texting.  I guess some functions require access later and I hope that the WiFi would be nice.

    Hi Scott

Some of the features and services Apple Watch that can be used to involve the use of cellular data or Wi - Fi internet access.

Whenever possible, Apple Watch relies on its Bluetooth connection with paired iPhone. When it provides certain features and services through the watch, the iPhone can use mobile data / mobile or Wi - Fi. Apple Watch has no cellular function, can not use cellular data otherwise than through the iPhone.

Apple Watch offers a number of features when paired iPhone is either unavailable (e.g. disabled) or not in the Bluetooth range:

    • Play music from a playlist that has been synced to Apple Watch.
    • Use the watch for the time, as well as alarms, stopwatches and the clock.
    • Keep track of your activity (Stand, Move, exercise) with the application of the activity.
    • Follow the workouts with the application of the workout.
    • View photos of the synced photo album.
    • Use Apple pay for shopping.

If the watch is not connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth, but it is within range of a wireless (2.4 GHz) your iPhone plugged in before, the watch can connect to the network and you can also still:

    • Send and receive digital messages Touch.

  • How far can my Apple Watch my iphone work?

What is the approximate maximum distance for the connection between the Apple Watch and a 6s iphone bluetooth +?

    Hello

Normal Bluetooth range is about 10 meters/33 feet. Actual range varies in practice because of wireless interference, but you don't need necessarily to have your iPhone on or just around you (scope of arms, for example) for devices to keep their Bluetooth connection.

Your watch may also exercise certain functions when it is not connected to your iPhone, including some that are available when your watch is connected to a known Wi - Fi network.

When the pair iPhone is not included and your watch is not connected to the Wi - Fi, you can always:

    • Play music from a playlist synchronized on your watch.

If your watch is disconnected from your watch, but within range of a WiFi (2.4 GHz) your iPhone plugged in before, the watch can connect to this network and you can also still:

    • Send and receive messages using iMessage.
    • Send and receive digital messages Touch.

    Hello

There is currently no option to keep the display mode bedside table.

To see the time, tap the screen or slightly shift your watch. By design, even pushing or striking the bedside table can enough to trigger the display when your watch is in Mode of bedside table.

  • Dependence of Apple Watch

    Hi all!

Please keep w / me as this is my first day in the community & my first question :)

im confused about the dependence of the Apple Watch. I have my phone on my body so that it works?

If so, I don't understand the "freedom" of lugging the devices around.

to please advise because I almost bought one then became confused re: this.

    Thank you

    Hello

To use all the features of Apple Watch, it must be brought to your iPhone Bluetooth (for optimal performance, you must allow both Bluetooth and Wi - Fi enabled at all times on your iPhone).

Normal Bluetooth range is about 10 meters/33 feet. Actual range varies in practice (because of wireless interference), but you definitely need to have your iPhone on or just around you (scope of arms, for example) all the time for the devices to maintain their connection.

Apple Watch also still offers a number of features, even when the pair iPhone is not included:

-Play music from a playlist synchronized on Apple Watch.

-Use the watch for the time, as well as alarms, stopwatches and the clock.

-Keep track of your activity (Stand, Move, exercise) with the application of the activity.

-Follow the training with the application of the workout.

-View photos of the synced photo album.

    -Use Apple pay for shopping.

If your Apple Watch is within range of a wireless (2.4 GHz) network that your iPhone is connected to before, but your iPhone and the shows are not currently connected, the watch can connect to the network and you can also still:

-Send and receive messages using iMessage.

-Send and receive digital messages Touch.

    -Use Siri.

-Make and receive calls if you have calls enabled Wi - Fi (depending on your operator).

  • Apple Watch activity is not in the cloud?

So, I've been using a Apple Watch for a while and my number one problem is that 'Activity', I put together for the last year is not sync with the iCloud, so when I upgraded my iPhone 6 to iOS10 all my activity watch is gone. I tested this point last week and it seems that "Activity" app does not synchronize your data in the cloud, so if you lose your phone or your watch you will have to start all over again and latest data are lost. This seems to be a huge concern when I spend all this time my overall follow-up and progress. Everyone see what happens if you put to level or restart/reset your watch or your phone?

    Hello

Health and historical activity data is stored on your iPhone. It is not recorded separately in iCloud.

To guard against data loss, be sure to make regular backups of your iPhone.

If the backup via iTunes, make sure to select the option to encrypt iPhone backup (unencrypted backup excludes the sensitive data, including health and activity). iCloud backups are encrypted as standard.
