    Hello

Step 1: Perform the clean boot on the computer.

From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

    Reference:
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
    1. click on Startand then click run.
    2. type msconfigand click OK.

The System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    3. click on the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.
    4. When prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

Step 2: Perform SFC (System File Checker) scan on the computer.

SFC tool scans system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

    1. open an administrator command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. at the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:
    sfc/scannow

    Hello

    1. do you receive this after you see Start button or entry?

2 have you made any changes to the computer before the show?

Method 1: Boot errors are fixed by the clean boot.

Perform the clean boot and see if that helps.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

Reference: How to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: when you're done to diagnose, follow step 7 in the article to start on normal startup.

Method 2: Some malware parody itself as InfoCenter.exe, especially when it is located in the folder c:\windows or c:\windows\system32.

I suggest you make a system full scan just to be sure.

Here is a link that will give you information on how to perform a full scan of the system:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

, Note 1: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note 2: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • Ikernel exe error installing civilization and I no longer have the cd of the system

I need help, loading of civilization. When I try, I get an error ikernel.exe (xo10000) and the installation stops

There is a certain different problems that can cause the ikernel.exe application error to live. You need to try to find out why you are suffering from this error. Take a look at some of the options below so that you can know whether or not this will cure your problem.

    1. Computer virus - a computer virus is a malicious computer program that installs on your computer without your knowledge. If you are experiencing computer viruses, then you will need to clean using a virus scanner. There are free antivirus that can be used. If you encounter problems using a scanner of viruses on your computer, then you might be able to solve the problem of starting in safe mode or to schedule a scan for the next time your computer starts.
    2. Missing system files - one of the most common reasons for this error is because some files are missing. The system files that could not be missed include Stdole.tlb, Stdole2.tlb or Stdole32.tlb. You must copy these to your original installation CD. Pop the cd of windows in the drive and start a command prompt by clicking Start, run and typing cmd. Type cd to go to the root of your hard drive.

To expand the file simply type expand d: i386stdole.tl_ c:windowssystem32stdole.tlb where d: is the letter of your CD drive, c: is the letter of your disk hard windows and stdole.tl_ can be replaced by any other missing file.

  • Remote Desktop error: the system cannot find the specified file. C:\WINDOWS\system32\ < LANG_NAME > \mstsc.exe.MUI

Came across an interesting problem this morning. After starting my PC from various applications (OutLook 2002, Management Studio of SQL Server 2008, etc.). I was able to connect to a server by using Remote Desktop (RDP, alias). On trying to connect to a second system, I started getting the following error message:

The system cannot find the specified file. C:\WINDOWS\system32\\mstsc.exe.MUI

Will always be connected to the server, I tried to launch a second instance using RDP, but received the same error message.

I googled the error and found different solutions (the best solution to examine ishttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/itproxpsp/thread/164d1e0b-51e6-4201-9dc2-3f4a0ccb14e5), however, none of the solutions seemed to work.

I tried checking the virus/malware, etc, but nothing was found. I tried to re - load the dll and the exe (s), but still not received the error message.

The next solution was to try to see what can be changed on my system (new programs, etc.). I noticed there is an update downloaded to my system (C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log): AutomaticUpdates content success install successful and Restart required for the following update: update for Windows XP (KB969084)... the update is related to remote desktop.

I rebooted the system, still not received the RDP error messages. Is I did a complete "install updates and shut down ', and then restarted my system that started working again.

For the record, here is some information on my system:

    XP Professional: Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.091208 - 2036: Service Pack 3)

    c:\windows\system32\mstsc.exe: 6.1.7600.16385

I wanted to just post this in case someone else runs into a similar problem...

    Thank you!

  • scvhost.exe application error the instruction at "0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".

It is more than one answer to a question, but I hope it will help all those poor souls who like me have been trawling around trying to find an answer to this problem where a dialog box appears with the application and then dreaded svchost.exe error crashes the computer if you click on the OK button.

Sound familiar?  Well I had this in the past and have only partially successful to get rid of him (repeated restarts finally allowed me to start without getting the error).  This time, however, it happened every time.

Finally, I followed the problem down this time to the update of Google and the location where the automatic updates are saved because only it uses the BITS service to download these updates.  I know that this problem is also associated with WindowsUpdate and with another automatic update service (Adobe (I think).  It seems that the folder where the BITS service (Background Intelligent Transfer Service) needs (which is not surprising) downloads permission to write and sometimes this permission can get disabled (i.e. to read-only).

So I went to this place, allowed him to leave, write and hey presto - end of problem!

Here is a link to the Google page that explains how to fix the problem more in detail (it's down to the place of the last bullet):http://www.google.com/support/installer/bin/answer.py?answer=96616

I think this will help a lot of people, not just those with Google update problems, but those with Windows Update and Adobe also - probably other downloaders of background update too - I bet they use all BITS to download updates in silent mode.

It is a very easy solution; No software to download, no to search in the registry, no copy of the system files.  Why everyone not found it before?

I am answering my own question because it already provides the answer.

Sorry, it's the only way I know to get this solution here quickly and easily where people can find what they want easily.

    Hello

    · When you receive this error message?

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

    · What is the service pack installed?

    · Do you remember any changes made on the computer before the show?

    · You have to install automatic updates on the computer?

Run the verification and virus scan online if any malware or virus detected on the computer activity. You can run the scan for viruses online from the link below: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
