Different behavior between cRIO 'Run as Startup' and debugging run

Hello

I have an application that does a lot of things, including playing a card NI 9213 Thermocouple, which lies on a connected to a RT cRIO target expansion chassis. The application is run on the target of RT. My problem is related to a behavioral difference between opening a connection to the channels of thermocouple in debug (by clicking on the arrow on the VI run) mode and the opening of the connection through a Build specification (by clicking Run as to start).

During execution, the VI wrote in a text file on the hard drive of the cRIO. I enclose the text files, one of the debug mode and a Run as startup mode. I have only two thermocouples connected (ch1 and ch15). From the text file, you can see the connection opens without error in debug mode, but get an error in startup mode. I've also attached an extract showing the VI that I used for the test.

A few notes:

Nothing to do with the VI is changed between each type of race.

The Build specification has the attached VI selected as startup VI, everything else is default

Someone else out there has had a problem similar to this? I feel like the debug mode should act identically to the normal start deployment. Otherwise, what's the point?

Thank you

I solved the problem! Or at least worked around it by setting a different bug. This another bug happened to be the same words that were this bug, to run as a startup. I'll summarize for you:

I love trolling Facebook as all with much too much time on their hands. I discovered something funny going on.

I have 2 laptops. An an XP dinosaur Firefox running (x 86 plus recent 33.0?), the other running every night. I now use every night.

When I'm on Facebook on ol ' faithful, I want to copy/paste of emoticons (smileys) from other sites. That has always worked smoothly.

On my x 64 on a nightly basis, Facebook seems to flow normally but the "symbols" site won't allow me to copy. Just a small black square appears when I try to select an icon.

That's the problem. The 'broken' site contains as well, because I run every night - W8.1 and WTP, both x 64. or every night is not able to correctly interpret the site?

I'm writing a flash framework that is used to load other SWFs as 'applications '. The framework provides a simple API by setting certain functions to the _root, so that loading the applications may call using _root.whatever (...).

It's all work beautifully... except for one thing:

I want to allow access of applications loaded at named singletons by application. This method works perfect when run locally.

BUT: When downloaded and executed in a browser the singleton objects returned by the functions in 1. swf are still undefined.

I know, by means of debugging statements and a debug output window when running remotely the singleton object is definatley not created only once and subsequent requests for it return the object created.

    Here's what's happening.
the main frame, 1. swf is loaded
This in turn loads (for example) app.swf
App.swf contains two movieclips, both of which call
    _root. GetSingleton (This, "Globals");
Where the function getSingleton was placed on _root by 1. swf loading.
However, although the output of debugging for the function getSingleton shows that it returns an object at the time wherever he will return in the app.swf clips, the object became not defined!

I've seen this kind of behaviour before. Return values of functions sometimes just go missing in transit and becomes undefined. Does anyone have any ideas? I don't think it can be a security problem, because all the SWFs are loaded from the same server.

    And the answer is:

    Do not use getURL("javascript:...");

because it has broken and will cause very strange behavior. for example:

for loops (x y) terminate unexpectedly
return values of function calls goes missing

    Use:

    ExternalInterface.call("function",...);

    Instead. It works fine.

  • Network of ESXi - different behavior when installing adapter

    Hi Experts,

I came across a strange problem on the network adapters section:

    • I was installing the ESXi 5.5 in a standalone Machine (re-usable)
    • When installing, it showed me the error on non detected network cards and I checked the compatibility of the guide and found that it was not a supported network card.
    • Then I installed 'VMware Workstation 10' on the same machine on the host operating system
    • I have created a virtual machine and tried to install 'ESXi' inside the virtual machine [just for curiosity\
    • He installed perfactly without error / warning (s).

My concern is 'how and why ESXi comes with two different behaviors between installation Metel naked Machine v/s install inside a virtual machine on the same physical host.

Thanks for your response in advance and I apologize if I am not able to present the screenplay with clarity.

    -Kuldeep Singh

Under vmware workstation, the virtualized esxi uses the virtual NIC (probably E1000) driver, which is supported.  The host operating system uses its own realtek driver.

When you try to run ESXi on bare metal, it doesn't have a realtek driver, if it fails.

    It is a driver problem.

  • Start-up delays between the Windows startup and the logon screen

I have two PC's that have essentially the same Intel motherboard, but with different form factors. The smallest has a less powerful CPU and a slower hard drive. Still more has a significant delay between displaying the logon screen and Windows startup. Between the two, the display shows a cursor that cannot be moved through the mouse for 30 seconds or more, while on the smaller than the slider shows only for about a second.

I realize, the problem could be many things, but I'm guessing that material or a device sound driver. I watched the event logs, but I couldn't see anything strange. I expected to see a "CPU does not ' or"USB 3.0 controller has a hardware problem"kind of thing. I ran Intel IPDT but he did not find a problem. Device Manager displays all of the problems. There is no graphics card on a system. I unplugged the USB cable to the printer, but that did nothing. No games are installed on a system. Nothing seems to be overheating. There is no network drive. All drives are SATA and BIOS is set to AHCI.

Someone at - it the words of wisdom about what should I look for in the event logs?

    If it were my system:

    1. I'd be more suspicious of malware, run ADWcleaner and have a good antivirus program
    2. I would use the manufacturer of my disk drive hard testing program to ensure that it is not a failure
    3. I would like to be sure that none of the drives are more than 75% in use
    4. I would check my memory using the auditor memory Windows 7
    5. I would like to install and run Autoruns to check what is in the startup process
    6. AND, above all, focus on the applications installed.  Some of them are notorious resource hogs who insist on running at startup.
    7. Remove Programs/applications from starting unless I really need to start

Common unbelievers that cause slow-start ups:

    • Garmin Express

    1. Windows Media Player has stopped working.

    2. Windows Media Center Store Update Manager no longer works

3 Kbd.exe stopped working and was closed

4 search index has stopped working and was closed.

5 Svchost, a few things of Protocol and other

Here are some of the examples, I have seen many others.

As I said, the computer became very slow to start once it arrives on the desk.   I ran registry cleaners, disk cleaners, defragmentation... etc, etc.  The loading of any program from the desktop is extremely slow, but once they charge they seem to work well, except when they are required to "load" other things.

I'm not a computer expert, but I do ok with repair of problems on my PC and others.  This however, left me speechless.  It seems to be a problem with Windows programs by default and, possibly, a hard drive problem.  Any help would be appreciated, and if there is more information that anyone might need, I will be happy to provide it.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

You see the 6TO4 card in Device Manager? (right click on computer, properties, Device Manager)

We will disable this.  This is for IPV6 to IPV4 translations and not in wide use at the moment.

In Device Manager, right-click on the Microsoft 6TO4 device and choose Uninstall.

Now, we will turn off the connection of the difficulties:

    • Click on Start, then network.
    • Click network and sharing Center , near the top.
    • Click manage network connections on the left.
    • Right-click on the network connection that has problems, and then choose Properties.
    • Clear the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) check box, and then click OK.

I'm developing a web application, and I see the difference in behavior between instances of Firefox. My computer is running the same version as a co-worker, and yet the behavior a button seems correct on his and seems wrong on mine. I tried to reset my Firefox, and this does not solve the problem.

I'll post what these things look like now, if I can.

is windows configured to display items to 100% in Control Panel > appearance > display?

  • Why is a different flat variant in 2012 of LabVIEW and LabVIEW 2011?

    When I flatten a variant of this way in 2012 of LabVIEW, the hexagon I get is 1200 8004 0000 0001 0004 0000 0001 0000 0000 0000.  When I do in 2011, it's 1100 8008 0000 0001 0004 0000 0001 0000 0000 0000.

    Why the difference?

I'm having a flattened cluster that contains a variance between executables in two different versions of LabVIEW by using TCP and I get an error on the unflatten of the chain.

This behavior is by design. Now, we include the version number in the flattened chain so that we can change/add to the representation in the future, and new versions of LabVIEW will be always able to read flattened strings that have been flattened in the past.

If you want to flatten a Variant to an older version of LabVIEW, you can use \Utility\VariantFlattenExp.vi.  It must be a version number under hexagonal - to flatten for the 2011 version, you used above, switch to 11008008 in hexadecimal.  If you group for this version, it will be able to be read by versions 2011, 2012, and all future.

See if it works (I'm not your configuration): Command Options Panel\Folder.
Select the VIEW tab, uncheck the RESTORE PREVIOUS FOLDER WINDOWS at the CONNECTION.

Here's another option to remove this problem: http://www.technize.com/my-documents-folder-opens-at-windows-startup/.  Make sure that you are in the registry and I would only delete the Documents folder reference rather than all - but it is up to you.  I would like to make a registry backup system and the restore point before starting this procedure to be on the safe side.

    ==================================================================================================================================

Here is another similar option worth a try, if others do not work (same for system restore point and registry backup):

    Click Start > run Regedit > move > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ logiciels\ Microsoft\ Windows NT\ CurrentVersion\ Winlogon

In RHS Panel, change the value of "Userinit" to: C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe

If this does not work, go tohttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and run Autoruns and click all.  You are looking for something, with the documents folder, and when you find it, uncheck the box to prevent it from starting at startup (it probably isn't there because it uses a different process to open it, but it's worth a try since different processes was the one before this one and if you are here it means that you did not).  Check the entire list as there may be several entries.  When you're done, click OK and restart.  The file should no longer start.  If by chance you find explorer.exe listed there, then try disabling that and see what happens.  This can cause a lot of problems, so be ready to CTRL-ALT-DEL and file run Explorer.exe to restart the program and then go back and check the box - it sure is not the solution.

If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
