The oil paint filter has been removed in CC 2014 and 2015 of the CC.  You need CC (v14.2.1)

Install from your desktop CC Panel.

  • want to oil paint filter

How can we get the filter of photoshop cc oil paint 2014

    It has been removed.

You can always run under Photoshop CC 14.x, provided you have not already removed it.  Yes, it is a workaround pretty badly integrated, but it is available.

May I ask in what capacity you have used the filter?  Was - for smoothing the edges without the fake texture effects, or add effects to an image to make it look like a textured oil painting?  I'm just curious.

  • Not able to install Action PS of the oil painting in Photoshop CC 2015 64-bit

I just bought the oil paint PS Action modules and I am not able to install it in Photoshop.

I use Windows and I have the latest version of Photoshop CC 2015 64-bit

When I try to install Action PS to paint in oil with Adobe Extension Manager, I got an error message.

    Can you help me please!

I suspect that your problem is that the installer of the action is not compatible with Photoshop CC2015. Modern versions of Photoshop do not use the old Extension Manager and so if the developer has not updated their actions, you will not be able to use them. I tried to find your action but it seems around a bit, but it seemed likely

  • Photoshop "Use OpenCL" gray and also grey filter oil painting

I try to get the PS CC oil filter to be accessible, but it is grayed out.

So far I tried to move the RGB/8 bit image.  The other piece of advice was to go in Edition > Preferences > performance > Advanced Options and check "Use OpenCL."  That is also disabled.  Advice on accessibility that were to download the most recent driver, then restart the system, then the Psalm I made, but "Use OpenCL" remains gray.

I use 250 GeForce, update driver 341.92.  Does anyone have this combo with the accessible oil filter?  Or "Use OpenCL" accessible?

Thanks for any ideas on either the option of checking "Use OpenCL" or another idea to be able to access the oil paint filter.

Unfortunately, you are right that the oil painting should OpenCL to check.  I just had a quick glance and 341.92 does not seem to be the most up to the version date of the driver for your card, even if I had to guess your operating system and if 32 or 64-bit system.  It seems highly unlikely that there is never an another update driver for such an old card, so your options are limited.  You can replace the video card, but that could be problematic.  You must be sure that your motherboard would support a particular card, and after the hassles and expenses, you have no guarantee that oil painting then works.

So probably your best option would be to install CS6 from the application manager, which was the original version of the oil painting, and switch between CC and CS6 when you need to use the oil paint.  There are many other modules and extensions that would work in CS6.  Trevor Morris Dmonzon tools, for example.  It was one of my real favorite.

Note that your graphics card must support OpenCL 1.1 or later and must be greater than clgpu OpenCL scores [0]. CLBandwidth = 1.2e + 10 and clgpu [0]. CLCompute = 5.0.

  • Shaded in Photoshop CC 2015 oil painting

Hello, I have a big problem on my Adobe Photoshop CC 2015. Since the last update, in which the filter "oil painting" was available, I can't access it.» My computer meets all the conditions and all drivers are up to date. I could identify that OpenCL is disabled and the same cannot can not turn! Thanks in advance

Uninstall and reinstall Photoshop from Adobe only and this time do not change libraries.

    That's why you have problems.

  • the new oil paint filter is not highlighted in my new version of photoshop

Hi everyone I have just updated my photoshop but the oil filter Marie-Claude is not put highlight how do I fix it

    Hello

    Greetings!

Is is actually a requirement for OpenCL to oil painting.

    It requires 1.2 OpenCL

If your graphics card supports OpenCL support, it should work.

Check in the preferences-> performance than if the graphics card is checked or not.

  • Oil paint filter grayed out after updating Photoshop CC2015.1

I opened raw and tiff and jpg files. I duplicated the background layer. Tried two 8 and 16 bits. I converted to smart filter. The oil paint filter is always grey. Am I missing something?

    Thank you

    Mike

Yes, looks like this card supports up to OpenCL 1.0 according to "clgpu [0]." CLDeviceVersion = "CUDA 1.0" "in the system information.

You will need a graphics card and a driver graphics card which supports OpenCL 1.1. https://helpx.Adobe.com/Photoshop/KB/Photoshop-CC-GPU-card-FAQ.html#topic-3

    Kind regards
