Application of Windows 8 mail connects to Exchange 2010, but triggered security events

After setting up my email account in Windows 8 I get complaints from the it Department. The case is that every time the e-mail client connects to the exchange server (2010), it sends the email address as username instead of the real user name. Does anyone know a solution for this?

Hi Marco,.

Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community Forums.

  • Windows could not connect to the Service Notification of system events

Yesterday, everything was normal before turning off my computer. However, I saw a message "that Windows could not connect to the Service Notification of system events" after I turn it on now.

My operating system is "Win7 Ultimate". What should I do to fix this?

    Hi Aporch,

You can check if System Event Notification Service is enabled and set to automatic.

    Here's how you do it;

    1. Select start > run > and type services.msc.

    2. scroll down until you find System Event Notification Service and make sure that it is running and set to automatic.

Also make sure Remote Procedure Call following the same steps above.

    3. restart your computer.

If this does not help, try this:

    1. click on the Start button.

    2. type Cmd in the search text box.

    3. press on Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run command as administrator prompt. Allow elevation request.

4 type netsh winsock reset at the shell command prompt, and then press the Enter key.

    5 restart the computer

  • Windows Live Mail with Googlemail - can receive but not send

    Hello

We try to access our emails from work (all transferred to googlemail) using Windows Live Mail.  I followed various tutorials and have set up new accounts on IMAP, port entering with the port 993 out 465. I made sure the right boxes are checked. Messages download fine but just won't send... I have a number now sitting in my Outbox.

I get the error message is Windows Live Mail error 0x800CCC0D, 11003 socket error

Can someone help on this please, I tried everything and am now ready to throw my computer out the window.

    Thank you

Not sure if anyone is still looking for an answer to this question, but I thought I got this post just in case.

First of all... Microsoft had it wrong. You need not configure GMail as an IMAP. It is a misunderstanding that began with the introduction of Windows Mail (who said laughingly in the help files it would not work with gmail at all) the settings that I used successfully with Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail are the following.

If implemented the first use manual configuration to pop. If an already existing account setting just right click on the account name and choose Properties.

    Incoming settings:

    Name of the server: pop.gmail.com

    Port: 995

    Select: SSL

    Use clear text authentication

    The outgoing settings:

    Name of the server: smtp.gmail.com

    Port: 465

    Select: SSL

    Letter: My server requires authentication.

Note: Select SSL before you enter the port number, because by default it automatically by default (inbound/outbound of 995 25) port number.

    I hope this helps.

  • Help, please! Windows Live mails in the sent folder, but not received by some clients

    Windows 7

    Windows Live Mail

    POP3

Out going Server Port is set to 25

    Microsoft Security Essentials

We had a problem where some - not all - of our messages are not received. When these messages are sent, they do not throw a notification saying that they cannot be delivered and they appear in the "sent" folder as usual.

We are a company that sends quotes to potential customers, so we really need it is resolved as soon as POSSIBLE. We will send about 10 quotes per week and at least once a fortnight we will have someone complain that they have not received their e-mail while the others will be fine.

The emails that we send have attachments so sometimes fall into undesirable people, but sometimes they are not either and we must resort to getting a second e-mail address to the sent message.

If anyone can help me with this very frustrating problem, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you

Thanks for your replies, but I have now solved the problem by changing the port from 25 to 465 number.

  • Windows 8 "not connected to the network" but it is, shows computers and can connect to the internet. How can I fix it

I used the Windows 8 Pro Upgrade on a Windoxs XP pro installation.  Everything works except that the network and sharing Center indicates that the computer is not connected to a network, but it is.  I can files in front on other computers on the network (at home) and I can access the internet.  The active profile is public, although it should be private. I created this to access the homegroup during installation.

I'm trying to get a first HD Homerun operation and if Media Center does not have any network, he sees no tuner either.

What can I do to get this working properly.

    a. no red X

    1. I tried to download a different driver, but it didn't work at all so cancelled.  To check if it was a pilot, I bought a usb wireless adapter.  I've disabled the ethernet connection and used the wireless connection.  The results are the same regardless of which connection I use.

    2. ran every convenience store without success

    3. services were what they were supposed to be

4 safe mode is worse.  No network connection (cannot see other computers in all), although internet is accessible

5 start gives the same results. "You are not connected to a network" yet the computers on the network are visible and accessible top records.  Internet is available.

I installed the software very little on this computer (just installed Win 8 last week.)

The only installed software is software HP Officejet L7680, Brother HL5250DN & first Silicon Dust HD Homerun software driver. I'm trying to set up basically as a DVR, so very little will be on it.

The only thing I can think is that I started with the installation of XP has been implemented using a VPN to connect to our network at work. This means that the computer should be part of the field it. Is it possible victory 8 retrieves these settings and now here's what's causing my problems? (I think that very few came from an installation of XP, but I noticed that some parameters met).

I plan to start again and re-installed Win 8 a last ditch effort... If you can offer any suggestions on repairing this conditioin, please provide me with the best way to re - install Win 8 as a clean install (without the things I installed). I'll then make sure that the network is working correctly before installing anything.

    *************************************************************************************************************

A follow-up for this reading. My problem was apparently caused by the upgrade of XP and usinging Dungeon files and SETTINGS. Although there are very limited items brought back an installation of XP, something is buried somewhere off network connections.

To solve this problem, Windows 8 has a new feature called reset. This essentially Setup all over again if you choose the option to delete files. You must enter the product key again when you do this. This is a clean install.  I had to update the graphics card drivers, add Media Center back, install HD Homerun Prime, run the Advisor of cable, making the TV configuration and finally got it works as I had expected.

Hi, I have a similar problem. I have three e-mail accounts and only two work. Wouldn't sync my Yahoo account and I already tried your suggestion. Whenever I try to sync this acct it is said that my email is not available. I don't use the other two accounts if I really look forward to trouble my Yahoo account which is my main ACCT. I hope that you still have other answers.

    Hello

If you use a Microsoft account, run the Microsoft Account troubleshooting utility and check the issue.

I want to send a picture to my yahoo mail account and when I right click on the image for the image to my account yahoo e-mail sent my application in windows live mail account set up and because in the past when I was with another computer with windows 7 I have been unable to add my yahoo with my hotmail account account while I was trying to set up the windows messaging system. So, instead of trying to do it again. I thought it would be best to use this forum to solve this problem. Is this something that everyone has problems with?

It is not because of the difference in operating systems, Vista vs. Win 7.
    The question is the same.

For Hotmail, no configuration in Windows Live Mail problem.

For Yahoo! Mail, you will have to pay $ 20 to upgrade your Yahoo to Yahoo! Mail Plus.
