• Component of the application defined by something other than the URL?

  Hello!

  Is it possible to filter or set a component application based on something else then the URL?  In order for me to express my question I will give a brief example of what we're trying to accomplish.

  I was asked to create Application components for 2 "organizations" that use a single Site.  For simplicity, this site is example.com.  I have the component of the overall application defined and I am metric gather for everything in the application.  These two organizations have access to this site using different URLS (a federated connection) and it's the only time that they hit different URLs.  It comes through the customer1.example.com/ and the other through customer2.example.com.  Once they connect then the two, they don't see example.com.  Client 2 is having terrible performance (according to them) and customer1 is having good performance and our overall number reflecting more closely the Customer1 is experienced, but we need a way to report only on client2. I spoke with the owner of the site and asked if it would be possible to modify their application works to include something in the URL that identifies the organization that uses the site, but they say they cannot do.  However, I can bring in added a cookie or something in the session to help me identify the organization that accesses the system.  Is it possible for me to make two different application components for these clients?  or can I somehow filter all out an application component that is not a particular witness?  Or y at - it another way to solve this use case?  Please let me know if a clarification is necessary.

  I was able to find a solution to my problem.  Thanks for the suggestions, etc.  Creation of filters of the transaction did not exactly what I was looking for, and I was unable to get a list of subnets etc to split clients by.

  Finally, I learned that I could set up a 'Variable' on the FxM rule.  You can create a rule that will have the data of each shot, like a query, cookie, or fluctuating demand etc. and you can turn and it have to be part of the URL that is stored in the database of FxM.  Then, you can create an application component based on the converted URL.  This has quite amazingly and is exactly what my clients wanted.

  For example if there are several "customers (as in organizations)" who visit a unique site, and you have a cookie that contains a distinct value for each agency, then you can create a variable rule around this cookie and add the URL.  Here is an example.

  Let's say the cookie is

  customer_id

  and you have

  customer_id = 1

  customer_id = 2

  etc.

  Then you can have a Variable rule allowing such keys on the cookie name customer_id

  Simple as that when you create it then the success that pass through the FxM will start adding this cookie to the URL that is stored.  This does not affect FxV (it can if you select the check box).

  If you then configure a new component of the application, you can set up a regular expression like this:

  . * customer_id = 1. *

  Click on the test button and you will see a URL like this:

  Example.com / [customer_id = 1]

  Example.com/blahblah [customer_id = 1]

  Example.com/index/?foo=bar [customer_id = 1]

  Example.com/etc/etc [customer_id = 1]

  I hope that makes sense!  It worked really well for me, and I hope that someone else is trying to do something like that will be able to find it.

  It seems that you hope to have possible several layouts for specific products which unfortunately is not available at this stage.  There are only 2 small product dedicated page and 1 presentation of great details.

  So eager to pack the product article to another model, you can assign the product element to a specific catalogue for the single model, but available would be consistent with what I noted above.

• Higher resolution than the standard resolution is bad for your mac?

  So my mac works normally on 1440 x 900, but with an application, I can go to full screen resolution supports and which is 2880 x 1800.

  So I was wondering, is - this bad for my mac? Is it bad for the map display, battery, processor, video or something else?

  If your Mac CAN operate at a higher resolution, everything that said is the lowest resolution you were using before was not the maximum resolution for your Mac.

  On CRT screens, you could push a little and squeeze more pixels horizontally on the screen than recommended.

  LCD flat screens have a pixel on the screen corresponds to a pixel in memory, the maximum resolution, and no compression is possible. Try to post more than that and he either cut them off or the screen goes wonky.

  Normally 1 year warranty is free (many sellers are doing the same thing, by law I think). Providers can offer an extended warranty on SOME products, also free (actually included in the price). 1 year is the norm for your machine, you will need to contact HP (or online help) to buy additional coverage. • Customize the Standard login page

  I use 24 cloudy theme on APEX 4.2.6.00.03.  Just try to do a few things that quickly brought me into an edumacation rabbit hole.  But I like to keep things simple.

  Try to change the background image on the standard login page (not in the region, not the image in option left in the area, I mean background image in the classical sense of HTML) which doesn't seem to work in the same way as the other pages.  It seems to relate to the theme & model page.  To replace the model of 'Login' to 'default theme' Page displays the background as planned for my setup below.

  On the attributes Page for the default login page so any application (e.g., p.101) using this theme (have not tried others).  I have change the HTML header on the page to be:

  Probably your CSS rule is not applied due to rules theme appearing later in the cascade or with the greater specificity. Correspondre correspond to the specificity of rule of theme by adding that he uses the ID selector, then override the waterfall using the! important directive:

  I have an application that uses two tabs; The Parents tabs and Standard appear on page 65. The Standard "Remote management" tab is set to be the active tab of page 65. But when I click on the tab Standard 'On-call' I should go to page 34, as shown below instead of stay on page 65. For example, to click on the tab 'Settings' set standard, I should go to page 17, but I stay on the same page.

  

  The tabs are always been a nightmare for me. Could you please help?

  Standard tabs do not perform a redirect, they submit the page. Use the debug mode to see what happens when you click on the tabs.

  You and everyone else. Why not get rid of them? On APEX 5.0, you can switch to the universal theme and replace tabs by a side or a menu in the top navigation:

  I have a requirement in iExpenses, where I need to restrict the types of files that can be attached to an expense report.

  For example, the types of allowed files are .txt, .jpg and .pdf - other formats like .doc and .xls and any other type of file should not be granted.

  Customize the page to extende the controller to the header: level of commitment to set.

  Instead of the standard gamepad - oracle.apps.ak.attach.webui.AkAttachUploadCO, attach your custom controller.

  Custom controller will have the code to check the attachment MIME type and throw an error if not valid.

  2. While doing the extension must also worry about the maintainability of the code.

  I recently downloaded a program called PDFlite to view the PDF files. He seems to have changed some settings on my Firefox, I does not allow to do so. I am today and there was a Bing toolbar, which I disabled it without problem.   I was wondering what is the standard way to backup / restore application options (scenario: options backup to memory card, the user reinstall OS, reinstall app, restore options)

  I would rather not put up my own encode / decode routines if possible.

  I've seen several approaches used in real-world applications:
  * csv like data file
  * binary storage (Berry, weather)
  but I'm not aware on how they have been implemented.

  Any ideas / suggestions?

  I think that most people will write their own serialization code to convert objects into a form of byte (as you saw csv, or own format or XML) and then put that somewhere - like your own server for application aware network or SD card.  This approach works, regardless of the method, users of user to switch devices.
