  When we connect using any user of domain/local, we are unable to find the application installed in the 'Apps' & If connect us with the id of the Local Administrator we can browse for apps.

• Failure of KB974431 update with 8007000D on a clean install of Win7 Pro 64-bit

  I just finished a clean install of Win7 pro 64 bit and everything looks on with the activated product key.  I'm applying 50 some important updated via update, but I have one that fails each time, KB974431.

  According to this thread: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/thread/27737d55-9c10-44b5-b701-6ba147c78364, another person having this problem had luck manually download and install the update.  But it did not work for me (I created a new thread because his son was in the installation forum).

  KB94431 was also causing problems for people who concoct a C004F050 error as in this thread:http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/thread/ff57f326-0f1d-412c-a4d0-14de1eaf0836/ although I didn't have this error, I tried running sfc/SCANNOW and he did report that he "finds corrupted files but could not solve some of them."  I don't really know what I should look for in the CBS.  By suggestion of the thread, I installed 64-bit Windows Update Agent and Windows Update is represented nothing doesn't.

  I think I have a corrupted file update is already downloaded that Windows is trying to use each time and it fails.   They seem to live in files Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and Windows\Servicing\Packages.  Although I can change the permissions to delete the file in Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download (and I've tried it without change of failure), access is denied whenever I try to touch the Windows\Servicing\Packages or its content.

I pressed install again then it says "this application will be downloaded on your device shortly." Just like earlier that day, then I pressed OK. A took my phone to check the application installed, but I couldn't find it. I've been checking everywhere but no trace of it. I tried other apps and it was the same thing. Then I did a factory reset or however, it's called (the one with the phone being erased memory) and the problem was still there. I just reinstalled my phone software and the problem persists. Someone knows how to fix this? It's a bit disappointing that what happened first day.my conjecture is that the app would not allow the phone, so maybe that's a problem suddenly on my PC?
