Applications install on win7 or xp64

Hi all...

I can't get all the apps that contain controls of Measurement Studio to install Win7 or XP64 VS2005. Try all the other XP machines I have work fine. . also any application I compile and install without Measurement Studio using another supplier of components or controls work without any problem.

I use VS2005 deployment projects and making sure that I understand the merge modules as described in the help sections Measurment Studio. I think I see the problem is that Win7 is looking for a different version controls NOR that of the deployment project is the installation. In the application and the application of the dll Directory match the versions listed in the journal of Fusion. Tried several machines to perform the build, but same problem... any ideas? Amhaving a permissions problem that the GAC is not updated by my deployment package?

Included below are thefusion journal and list of GAC for NI Ms.

Thank you

There could be more than 1 question here, but I think they have the same cause - you run a 64-bit on 64-bit OSs application and referencing MStudio assemblies that do not support loading in the 64-bit process.

(1) I see the error code returned is:

HR = 0x8007000b. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

This can occur if you are running a 64-bit program that attempts to load an assembly that supports loading only in a 32-bit process. Measurement Studio for VS2005 supports 32-bit only. I see that your application references MStudio for VS2005 assembled under the "." 20' in the version number (.20 means holders of .NET Framework 2.0 assembly).

When you say that this fails on Win7 - it's Win7 32-bit, 64-bit, or both?

If only 64-bit, you can try to rebuild your application with a value of x 86 to see if this solves the problem of the target platform.

Then, you must decide if you need your application runs as a 64-bit on 64-bit OSs process. If so, you will need to use MStudio 2009 for VS2008 to get 64-bit support.

(2) it seems that MStudio UI assemblies are not in the GAC. How to generate registration GAC? You go in the GAC by using Windows Explorer, or have you used the command line? If the command line, this subdirectory GAC did navigate you to (e.g., GAC, GAC_32, GAC_MSIL)?

  • Satellite C660 - need help with the fresh install of Win7

After a problem with my 660 SatC, I decided to Nuke the hard drive and do a fresh install using a W7 32-bit disk created from the web (there is a free library of Windows 7 iso images (sorry I forgot name).)

So I got the drive and the drive that has the drive, W7 is now saying that it can't find the device driver for the DVD drive it has been operating just to show him the first screen of W7.

Looking for drivers for the DVD player but no joy on the web.

    Can someone help me please?

Maybe stupid question on the start, but why you do not install original Win7 64-bit? I assume that you got your machine with preinstalled operating system.

    > If I had the drive and the drive that has the drive, W7 is now saying that it can't find the device driver for the DVD drive it has been operating just to show him the first screen of W7.
Sorry, but after reading this sentence I m completely confused and do not know how to understand it. If you have created the bootable installation disk, I hope you were able to successfully install Win7. After the first boot, you continue to install all the necessary drivers, the tools and the utilities that you can find on the download page of Toshiba - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

Optical disc drive using Microsoft driver and there is no some special drivers for this device. It must be recognized automatically by the operating system preinstalled.

  • Failure of KB974431 update with 8007000D on a clean install of Win7 Pro 64-bit

    Hi all

I just finished a clean install of Win7 pro 64 bit and everything looks on with the activated product key.  I'm applying 50 some important updated via update, but I have one that fails each time, KB974431.

According to this thread: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/thread/27737d55-9c10-44b5-b701-6ba147c78364, another person having this problem had luck manually download and install the update.  But it did not work for me (I created a new thread because his son was in the installation forum).

KB94431 was also causing problems for people who concoct a C004F050 error as in this thread:http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/thread/ff57f326-0f1d-412c-a4d0-14de1eaf0836/ although I didn't have this error, I tried running sfc/SCANNOW and he did report that he "finds corrupted files but could not solve some of them."  I don't really know what I should look for in the CBS.  By suggestion of the thread, I installed 64-bit Windows Update Agent and Windows Update is represented nothing doesn't.

I think I have a corrupted file update is already downloaded that Windows is trying to use each time and it fails.   They seem to live in files Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and Windows\Servicing\Packages.  Although I can change the permissions to delete the file in Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download (and I've tried it without change of failure), access is denied whenever I try to touch the Windows\Servicing\Packages or its content.

The only installed software were the latest EVGA nforce and drivers for video card, Norton Security Suite and the SoundBlaster last for my sound card driver.

    Any suggestions?

OK, start at the stop of the snap-snap-in services.msc WindowsUpdate service and rename the folder C: \Windows\SoftwareDistribution\ to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution_old\ restart the service. Now look again for updates. You are now able to install.

Product keys are not sold without installation media.

Don't buy product keys for sites that sell just a product key - they are not authentic.

You can buy Windows 7 Upgrade here (or at a local store):

There is no discount on a second license of Windows 7 If you already have a Windows 7 license.

  • Can't find applications installed on the mini pro: S

I bought this phone yesterday and the first thing I did was last updated for the software. It went well. Then I installed some applications via PC who worked as they should and went out for a walk. Later, I checked my phone bill, and it was abnormally huge so I guessed that some background applications use internet to do what they must do and put me in this situation. I couldn't stop my Bill raise and said that at one of my friends who helped me in calling his friend and asking him what to do because he has the same phone. He helped me by telling me to turn off "Data Enabled" in settings/WIFI and networks mobile/networks/data access via the mobile network (data set) and my money leak stopped. It was great. When I came home later, I wanted to continue with the installation of games and apps from Android Market via a PC, but I could not. On the web site, I selected an application, click on install and new window pops up telling me that my phone is supported. I pressed install again then it says "this application will be downloaded on your device shortly." Just like earlier that day, then I pressed OK. A took my phone to check the application installed, but I couldn't find it. I've been checking everywhere but no trace of it. I tried other apps and it was the same thing. Then I did a factory reset or however, it's called (the one with the phone being erased memory) and the problem was still there. I just reinstalled my phone software and the problem persists. Someone knows how to fix this? It's a bit disappointing that what happened first day.my conjecture is that the app would not allow the phone, so maybe that's a problem suddenly on my PC?

the "active data" function controls your internet connection through carrier network

you need an internet connection to download the app... it may be the network of the operator or WiFi
first day that your data transfer has been enabled for all the applications that u installed by means of pc have been downloaded

but then you turned off your data traffic

now that u installed apps (((after you disable data traffic))) through your pc would be in the queue of download >...
as soon as you swith on the traffic of data, all applications will be uploaded, but again you will be charged heavily for the transfer of data from the android market on your mobile... so its best to do with wifi or activate certain data plan on your mobile

conclusion: you need an internet connection (wifi or carrrier network) to download applications...

  • Disk DVD - RW does not work after a clean install of Win7

I did a clean install of Win7 on my Acer Asprire 5738 yesterday, and I noticed this particular problem today, I needed to use the DVD player, which is a Slimtype DVD A DS8A3S ATA device.

The problem so far, is that it is a law to disappear each time the hard drive turns down, so, for example, I put a game disc, for the installation, the drive appears in my computer folder, the drive will turn up, and start the installation until it, lets say, I need to insert a license key... the disc will spin down and slowed down and then will disappear from the system.

I checked the properties on the material tab and it shows 2 devices, one is the device which is installed, that is, Slimtype DVD A DS8A3S ATA

    Manufacturer: CD-ROM Standard

    Location: Location 0 (channel 1, Target 0, Lun 0)

    Device status: unknown

under this scheme, the other is listed as a WDC WD2500BEVT - 22zCT0 ATA as a type of hard drive

    Manufacturer: (standard disk drives)

    Location 0 (Channel 0, Target 0, Lun 0)

Status of the device: this device is working properly

I don't know what is the 2nd unit, that I have only one hard disk, and also, I do not know why the transition from vista home to a full HARD disk format and then install win7 would cause such a problem...

any help would be greatly apreciated

    Hello Nostrildarmus,

I suggest that you run the CD burning, DVD and Blu ray discs convenience store which will automatically diagnose and solve common problems related to CD/DVD players.

    a. open the reading and burning CD, DVD and Blu ray discs store by clicking on the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting.

    (b) in the left pane, click Show all and then click on reading and burning CD, DVD and Blu ray discs.

You can also follow the link below and run them the Fix - it will automatically correct problems associated with CD/DVD drive:

  • Debug an application installed from a signed .bar

I sign my app with RSA keys to operate. If I generate the signed .bar export the project with the unit and then debug configuration I install it on the device.

The question is: How can I debug my application?

Obviously I can't just run the application in debug mode because in this way the application does not work as signed bar.

Is it possible to attach the application installed with the bar to a debugger?

    Thanks in advance.

When the application is built in release mode debugging is disabled. Core files would be generated, but they are generated in sandbox APP output mode (not that you can see the use of the system target file browser). The only way to access them is through your application itself (the next time that the launch of the app, it has access to its directory of newspapers in his sandbox).

I have 32 GB of RAM installed and win7 uses only 16 GB of it. Why? Thank you in advance.

Because you're using Home Premium 64-bit?
You need 'Pro', 'Enterprise' or 'Ultimate' 64-bit running 32GB or more RAM.

EDIT: Home Premium is limited to 16 GB of RAM.

No, no backup, including apps, would be a backup Image, and using these would push the PC to the current position (or at least at the position during the creation of this image)
