• Approach of the album (several pieces) project?

  Hello. What is the right approach for the work of the album from?

  Let's say that I have several audio tracks for the album, most of the tracks have same basic settings/plugins/etc + automation. But they should sound compatible with each other and I really don't want to transfer settings every time that I change/tune something.

  2. is it necessary for conversion of tags shared variables, or the deprecated legacy tag screws of LV7.1 work in LV2012?

  Datasockets are the common middle only my knowledge between versions, so apart from the upgrade to the same version, they will probably be your best bet.

  I'm trying to update a dataset by using the interface method assemble. I am able to get data without problem. When I try to update the data, but I get the following error:

• General approach to the implementation of several dictionaries of color name?

  My interactive color wheel applet [url http://r0k.us/graphics/SIHwheel.html] currently has a single class providing for more than 1500 color names and hexadecimal values. I am considering multiple supply of these "dictionaries names of colors" (CNDs) - the current set, Munsell colors Sherwin Williams colors, etc... Each item in the Dictionary consists of a hexadecimal string of the value of the color and a name string. There are at least 3 approaches that might be possible:
  
  (1) store each NDT in its own file of plain text with names ending in common extension, for example ".PSF". At runtime, hunt for .PSF files in the current directory and build a GUI selection list dynamically. This would probably be my approach in other languages and would save space in the jar file. (One byte per character instead of two). But I don't even know if a cmdlet can read files in its own .jar file. If it is possible, they would be in the current directory, right?
  
  (2) store each NDT in its own class. Is there a way to simply drag the classes in a project and the parent java automatically recognize what NDT classes it there and adjust the graphical user interface to support / them?
  
  (3) store NSDC all in one class, as 2D arrays separated. It could end up as a huge (class in progress, with just a dictionary, is 78 k in size), but could be the simplest to implement.
  
  Which path would you take? Is there a better way that I didn't think?

  If you already use getResource() and you do not place random CND files around the file system, there is no reason to mix FileInputStreams it.

  Class.getResourceAsStream () is the way to support different types of loads. It supports even seen your program a jar file or a jar unpacked file. You leave there useless catch block you need to remove.

  You can use a chart of the LabVIEW intensities for this kind of display.

  Maybe not the best way, but it is possible.

  Basic principle:

  -Create the matrix of 2048 x 2048 points database

  -For each 'line of angle' calculate which pixel to replace each data point in the line

  -Because "datapoints" becoming bigger, far from the Center, repeat the action for several "sup angles. for example, to 85 deg also Calc. 84.6, 84.8, 85, 85.2 85.4

  It gives you an idea of the possibilities, but performance may be necessary.

  -Only external Calc x pixels more degrees

  -Do some kind of anti-aliasing to avoid the pixelated lines.

• Best approach for the transmission of data and images

  We you write an app that will allow the user to take a picture of a document and enter a few bits of information about the document and then send it to our server. It is a mobile extension to a larger system of document management to back office we develop in-house so the intention of this BB app is not not to distribute to the masses.

  What is the most practical approach to transmit data and images captured on our server?

  -FTP - fooled with it some and a pain

  -WebService - did not attempt

  -Send an email with the picture attached - seems to work very well

  Is there another approach, should I consider?

  If you do not already things that communicates to the Server backend, e-mail is probably the easiest way.  Crosses all the issues of the segmentation of the image that you would have to do with the Web Service or FTP.

• More quick REST API / JSON approaches to the interviews of the OPA?

  I recognize there are services / libraries that can convert an OPA Web Service deployment on the hub to a JSON / REST API.  (Examples: Mashape I used for the other REMAINS in the SOAP proxy).

  But, is there a consensus on the more common approach / best to this operation?  Is there an approach that may be more in line with the future development of the OPA hub around REST API?  I think I saw something with Oracle Cloud Computing Mobile Service, but I cannot find enough documentation to the CEP with.

  It occurs to me, that instead of researching the topic for an hour or more, I could have benefits more ask on the forum.

  Paul, my quick view is that whatever you do will be OK, because even once we add REST API, existing SOAP API will remain for backward compatibility reasons.

  It would also be impossible to build compatibility for something we have not designed yet, so I can't really all guide on what to do / avoid in order to simplify any possible future transition official rest API.

  My database is Oracle 10.2.0.4 on Solaris 8. I have a very sensitive area in my database which should be hidden. I mean - field - credit card number - should be stored hidden as same s/n can not see directly from the database by select < nom_de_colonne > in the table. The real value are replaced with hard to understand the type of value. The field is defined as VARCHAR2 (11) right now - as of now, it is stored in plain text, I need to change.
  
  Can help on what would be the right approach. I am for this task, not to worry about data etc. - Transparent encryption encryption at the level os - the scope of my task ETC is to ensure that no one can see the actual data from sqlplus. -do not even DBA. and application can show to everyone - I'm not you worry too much about it. But the data stored in db must be little hidden.
  
  What would be a good approach to this topic? I've read about dbms_crypto but the column that stores the encrypted data is the RAW data type. It seems that involving a lot of overhead in maintenance. Can one come up with own masking system and that would be good or is there a best practice on what can help?

  Yes, it restricts access to the data. But as I said earlier, this is what it looks like you really want to do. You want to allow only one type of session to view data (sessions created by your application). You want to prevent other types of sessions to see the data (sessions created by developers using SQL * more). You can encode any restriction you would like in your policy VPD.

  I have a website that I need to be presented in French and English for the customers. I have a professional to do the actual translation, the question is actually geared toward how to pages.

  Currently, I decided to do the following to achieve the desired result - is - what the right approach (industry standard)?

  1. build a home page in French with all navigation to web pages dedicated French

  2 build a second home page of UK in English with all the links pointing to pages in English

  3. build pages in French and English and name them site/en & site/en etc.

  4. place on every page (French or English) pointing to the English & French homepages thereby giving the user the version option to display an icon.

  Clearly the highest cost increase work load and therfore the customer for both the job site and also for making changes and future updates.

  I would appreciate your comments as to the correct approach.

  (2) on my index page you showed me how to replace the text in the navigation list (which I understand), but the CSS background image that appears in fact the text is stored in an image that changes color with each of the States. How can I handle this? I also suspect that I can replace the example of list with regular item & items on other pages to replace larger blocks of text n in the same way.

  It's always a bad idea to have the text as an image. In the case of the menu, just the highlight image. If you don't want to do that, then you will need to change the CSS selectors to include the language.

  (3) how to replace the main image on index.html, the BULK of the text in the middle of the page?

  Same as 2). It's much better to have text as an image.

  Basically, I need to add attributes to the tables view reporting within projects. These attributes already exist on the tables of the ebs. The approach that I considered includes using JDeveloper to add a few columns to the extended view objects, make a BC4J substitution and then customize the UI to include the new column.

  Kris,

  If the attributes are available in the t, then simply create columns in the table through customization and refer to the instance of the view and correctly display the attribute names.
  If the attributes are not available in the original Version, you may need to modify the query and substitute the original standard Version with a custom one. Then the same process of adding columns through customization and evoking the display attributes.

• Best approach for the loading of images asynchrounously in a ListField

  I have a ListField, who draws a picture in each row that is loaded on the internet. I load the images and store them on the SD card, then notify the UI that the image is loaded and ready to fire. The only problem I have now is to know how to draw the image in the list without making the user feel as the entire list has been reloaded (IE lose the position of the index selected whenever an image is loaded).

  In my loaded picture the callback method, I use the following code to refresh the list:

  listField.setSize (dealsArray.length);

  I tried to change for this to keep the selected index but I get an illegal state exception:

  selectedIndex int = listField.getSelectedIndex ();

  listField.setSize (dealsArray.length);

  listField.setSelectedIndex (selectedIndex);

  Any help would be appreciated to heighly

  You can void an individual line in a ListField - I would like to try that.

  In tools > utilities you have a tool called 'Replace logical column or Table Source Table', use this tool to keep your business model and simply replace the existing physical sources with a new one.

  Once you're done to make sure your physical objects are not used more (right click > queries about objects) and then just delete.

  Always run the overall consistency checks after each important step to ensure that your SPR is always very good.

  This can be a way to do it, another way may be to add new items to the existing MDB and then gradually remove the old or even add a new dimension of MDB and map to the same objects of presentation layer.

  Ultimately it is to you to know if the new source for your dimension will correspond to each column, so you can just replace the physical source to the columns in the Sun or it will take further work (such as a snowflake and things like that).
