ARC Touch settings Bluetooth on Windows 7?

I bought the Bluetooth version of the Arc Touch mouse to use with my laptop (Thinkpad T440p) that is running Windows 7. I know it says it supports only Windows 8, but I know that my phone supports THE Bluetooth and after an update of my Bluetooth driver, it detects and works very well. My question is if there is a way to configure settings (such as vibrations or the scrolling behavior) for this mouse on Windows 7. The support page for this version of this mouse only heading to the Windows store to download the application of settings of the mouse and the keyboard, which is Windows 8 only. I tried to install the version of Windows 7 on the application of settings of the mouse and keyboard (from the USB Arc Touch plus support page), but it did not find my mouse. Is it possible to adjust these settings on Windows 7? Or a way to get the Windows 7 application to detect the mouse, or a way to get the application of Windows 8 on Windows 7, or some 3rd third-party tool or something? Are the parameters of the driver or the mouse itself? If the latter, I could set it up on another computer Windows 8 and I have it stick when I use it with this machine, or if there is some kind of documentation of the hardware, I'm a developer and I would write my own code to configure the mouse. I really like this mouse already within 10 minutes I got it, and I would not have to return it and get the lower version of USB dongle.

Hi Ben,

Thank you for the update.

  • My Mic Bluetooth disconnects when I close the window settings Bluetooth =)

    Hello Microsoft =)

For some strange reason, which I do not know... whenever I close my Bluetooth settings... window my micro disconnects-_ -

My adapter had windows 7 find it of own drivers... you know, plug & play. So it's using the basic drivers... which is fine. the meaning of the use of does ' t Bluetooth adapter it's own software. So I'll tell you exactly what I'm doing...

First... I take my Bluetooth headset... Secondly, I right click on the Bluetooth icon in the status bar. Then I click on show settings. Then I click on the Audio tab, go to my bluetooth headset in the list... Highlight it... and I click on connect... 3 or 6 seconds... wa... connected. now I have a... OK button and a Cancel button. I click ok and my Bluetooth headset will beep... I will come back and it is disconnected = (I also on Skype or any other audio software like that... and it won't work. no sound of it. of course.)

So, I'm sure you can see my problem... and I hope you understand my "entourage" with what is happening here. Let me know, thanks.

SSPS, also I'm not the only one... these people too need help:

Thank you, Kim. Of course, this problem has been occurring for some time in Windows 7 and continues to persist to this day. I tried your above corrections, and the first didn't work. However, I changed the Startup Type to automatic as you suggest. It doesn't have an effect at first. Your second explanation does not specify which Bluetooth driver to uninstall. So, I tried to remove the headset from the list of devices, put it back. My sound settings configuration has not changed, and the helmet device was still attached to the default playback and recording device, it was when I first set up the bluetooth headset. When I reinstalled the helmet, it connected automatically this time without having to open the checking of helmet and do it manually. Before I followed these steps, it wouldn't connect and the headset is not found in the sound control window. I had to open the box to control the headset and connect manually. Then, when I was closing the command window, the headset to disconnect, and it disappears from the sound settings window. Now, it connects just when I turn on the headset and put in Bluetooth mode. So, my suggestion for someone else who has this problem would be to follow step 1, and then lift the helmet of devices, then add it to devices. Then restart the computer, and it should work. It did for me. Thank you!

the bluetooth transceiver for my Microsoft Arc Touch has been moved, I bought several different bluetooth we receivers but non of them seems to be compatible... I would really appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction on how to get a suitable replacement.

    Hello

To be honest I doubt that the receiver can be bought separately, because even
If the receiver goes wrong during the warranty period, they usually replace the

  • ARC Touch Mouse mouse train and jumps around

I have a 2 new arc microsoft touch you mouse on Windows 7 PC, a Mac. They have all both worked well the first week, and now they started to jump everywhere and trolling. I have the drivers updated. Why is this happening?

I noticed the problem more when in fact either hovering over hyperlinks or dragging of files/folders/windows around. But most of the time, he jumps right all the time. I tried tweaking with the settings without result.

I do not expect to get a valid response I've tried announced this before and no one knows what to say.

It's too late to get a refund on these mice, so I'm stuck with defective products.

Yes, it seems they might be defective. As I have 2 of them do the same thing on 2 separate computers, I don't think that if I replace them with the new 2 that it will solve the problem

  • No error detected Microsoft Arc Touch mouse mice

Hello, I have trouble getting my new arc touch mouse to be detected.

I had an another arc touch mouse before, but after a few years, it has stopped working. I like the mouse so I decided to get a second. Unfortunately, when I go into the properties of the mouse, he tells me no. Microsoft mouse detected and I can't update my settings to match the way they were with my old arc touch mouse. The mouse is logged and can be used, but the properties and parameters cannot be changed. I tried deleting and reinstalling without success drivers. I read somewhere else that once you plug the USB receiver into a USB port a different Microsoft mouse cannot later be plugged into this port and be recognized? I don't know if that is right, but I just want to get this mouse works the same way the former did before it stopped working.

    Any ideas?

Thank you very much for your help.

  • Settings Bluetooth on iPhone crashes settings

When I enter the settings-> Bluetooth on my iPhone, application settings accidents immediately.  If I disable bluetooth via the control center, I can open the Bluetooth settings, for example, to associate an additional device.  But if Bluetooth is already turned on, I get the crash.  Reboot, restore and even the iOS updates have not solved this problem.

    Hi a. Heimert,.

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I can see your post when you try to open the settings > Bluetooth, the settings app unexpectedly quits on you. I know it's nice to be able to additional pair to iPhone devices. I will be happy to provide information on this.

Thank you for all the steps you made, that helps us a lot. What we want to do is to reset all settings.  This removes any data, but he'll get over things like settings, settings VPN, layout screen, Wi - Fi password, etc..

To do the reset go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings.  Test and see if it is working as it normally should.

Based on your post, I see that you did do a restore. If the steps above did not work, and restoring you have already done from a backup, then the next step would be to make sure you have a recent backup, and then restore it to the factory and parameters established as new instead of restoring a backup.

The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings

Once you set it up as news, please go ahead and test the Bluetooth settings and see how it behaves now. If the settings app opens ok, you can add the backup turn it back on for the iPhone, and then test the application again. If the settings app continues to unexpectedly quit, then we would know that there is something in the backup that is the cause to happen.

Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

    Have a great day!
