Area of regulation 1142N

Hello

Can someone confirm please what model 1142N APs I need to buy to work in Australia with 4404 WLCs please? From what I can tell I need the model AIR-LAP1142N -N- K9, is that correct? We are still running a pre-CAPWAP on the WLCs v4.2.x.x software by the way.

Thank you.

Brodie

    Dear all,

I need help to choose the right part of the two TURN code access point in the object.

Both the TOWER will be installed in the North Africa Morocco.

    Could you help me pls?

    Best regards

    Igor.

Morocco does not have a country code in the WLC and google isn't helping discover.

    You can:

-Adjust your WLC toward a neighboring country such as Algeria (DZ) and order APs 1142-E and 1260-E (EI means field, europe ETSI and its surroundings). But then, you take the responsibility to know what is allowed or not to the Morocco in terms of wifi. Cisco is not responsible to violate you any law

-You find with local wireless this regulation is applied.

    Kind regards

  • Area of regulation hurt

    I've got a few 1142n -E- k9 on ebay, but should have obtained 1142n -N- k9...

Thought I checked it first, but the Australian site, I went to that sold the bad ones too! @###

so it will not register with my controller 4402.

    I have 2 options, I guess that:

1 / the WLC for a country code that corresponds to the E version? (USA)?

2 / the 1142n to change to different regulatory field. Is this possible?

    Thank you

E is for europe mainly so choose any European country :-)

appreciate your support for a problem I started to deal with today. I have a Cisco WLC 4402 running the 7.0.116.0 version and it's great to work with 25 Cisco 1252 access points. I searched the difference in regulatory areas between AIR-LAP1041N -E- K9 and AIR-LAP1041N -A- K9 and no difference was found which may affect the operation of this access point.
to cite our WLC configuration for regulatory areas is:
    Country set AR codes

    Area of regulation 802. 11A:-A
    802.11bg:-a
My question is should I just include my country in the WLC (IQ) add the field of requlatry (-E) to solve this problem? or change the country will affect the operation of all APs workers?
    Appreciate your kind support,
    Patrick Q.

Try adding a European country to your regulatory domain.

Just to clarify, you should know that files are not regulation of elements to Revel, they are copied from Photoshop.com to Revel. If you had all your files in the items synchronized with Photoshop.com, all jpg files should be copied to Revel.  Duplicates are not copied and non - jpg files are not copied. Once the migration is complete, you can no longer add files to Photoshop.com.

During this period of transition, no files have been copied, moved or deleted from your Organizer items or hard disk; they were just copied Photoshop.com to Revel. This was done as a convenience to the customers so that they did not go to the effort of downloading from the site and download to another because that can be very time consuming.

You can download files from your hard drive to Revel. Here is a link to help with this:

The dimensions of the image itself and those specified in the web page are not similar and are not regulated in the same way.  The code of the page shows...

    img src = "images/OIL AND FILTER.jpg" alt = "" width = "150" height = "193"

Have the image being higher than it is wide, which, as you see, is on the page.  But the image itself is much wider than it is tall... maybe you have loaded the wrong picture?  Also, avoid having spaces in the file names used on the web.

  • SatPro A60 can hardly operate at 2.8 GHz since problem of thermal regulation

Hey guys, a nightmare for A60, its CPU clock can hardly run at 2800 MHz, it is supposed, since 75 of the A60? Thermal regulation time is too easy to access.

Using the processor RightMard and Mobilemeter clock utilities, I found the temprature entry A60 to thermal regulation 75? When this temperature is reached, cpu clock slow down up to 1500 MHz (you can't see it using the normal test program, because Throttling is like cheating... that is to say force CPU to stop for some time in order to avoid overheating), and when temperatures rise less than 70?, he will return to 2800 MHz. Another delay: the auto-off temperature is 85? for A60.

Although the temperature which got the Mobilemeter is the sink, not the CPU core temperature, it seems that oshiba made this 75? Date limit too low (default time of Intel is probably about 90?). In addition, with evil designed sink heater, the temperature remained generally above 70-80? with room temperature 15? and only some word processing or navigation base and also with the machine almost free of dust. All this means that the laptop can hardly run at 2.8 GHz. You could never have this speed in any graphical game.

The real clock must be test using RightMark clock, it allows to test if the CPU is forced to stop frequently due to thermal regulation. Everyone wants to do this experience can download these two free software of:
    RMC(177Kb):
    http://CPU.RightMark.org/download/rmclock_18_bin.rar
    MobileMeter(40Kb):
    http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconValley-Oakland/8259/release/0310/mm0310.zip

with SuperPI, who can make as high CPU temperature as you want opening it serval times at the same time
    http://ftp15.ENET.com.CN:88/pub/system/sysanaly/SuperPi-8.zip

Finally, my original idea to write about it here is not only to tell a truth, but also I want that people of Toshiba could do something on this issue, or do an updated bios updated to allow to off the thermal regulation, or make the deadline for her superior to only 75? ,
as you have about bios satellite 1805 last updated:

    Version 2.10 24/09/2002
A change has been made to allow only BIOS enable and disable the CPU limitation during the operation of Windows 98SE.

Give the original CPU speed, because that's the only reason I and a few other people chose this machine.

    Hi Al

Well, I put t know if you have experience in the technology of the laptop but heat is a known issue on all laptops. It s a fact that all the parts (Cpu, graphics card, etc.) in the unit produce a lot of heat and it s very difficult to cool these rooms because there is no place. You can't compare the computer laptop and desktop PC!

In addition, to protect against overheating of the CPU has an internal temperature sensor. (You know that) If the temperature of computer s reaches a certain level, the cooling fan is turned on or processing speed is lowered. You can choose to control the temperature of the CPU by the setting of the fan first, then if necessary, reduce the speed of the CPU.
Alternatively, by lowering the speed of the CPU first, then if necessary, turn the fan. You can use the element of the standard tab cooling method in Toshiba Power Saver.

    Here are the features:
Maximum performance: Turn on fan first, and then if necessary decreases the speed of the CPU processing.
Performance: Use a combination of fan and a decline in the processing speed of the CPU.
Optimized battery: Lowers the speed of the CPU first, then if necessary turns on the fan.

In addition if the temperature of the CPU reaches an unacceptable level with two parameters, the system stops automatically to avoid any damage.

Hopefully this description can explain this problem.

  • Regulator PID very slow to reach the value Point and zeros process Variable when it should not

    Hello

I am using a PID controller to regulate the emission of a filament current in an ion gauge, but I'm running into several problems.

The first and less important, are the controller of PID VI takes at least 5 minutes to get the current where it needs to be.  Is it possible to speed this up?

The second and more important, are that the PID controller tends to zero the process variable before you start the process of getting the close process of the target value variable.  This can be seen in the attached VI: I write 5.8 volts voltage filament - something I did at the beginning to try to get the controller PID for the process close to the target faster - value variable but when the PID controller starts to do his thing, he kills the tension before anything, rather than rise of 5.8 V.

The attached VI is a single which has these problems.  VI actual ion gauge controller I've written has the same problems, but in a form even more frustrating.  I have a while loop set up for the filament voltage to where it should be (using a PID controller) first and foremost, then a loop of data acquisition, which also includes a feedback loop in the form of a PID regulator to maintain the filament voltage.  When the second PID controller starts to run, it concentrates the tension that the earlier had set, taking another 5 + minutes to reach the point where we can take data and giving us 5 minutes of false data in the process!

Does anyone know why PID controllers are behaving like this, and what can I do to fix/work with this behavior?

    Hello

It seems that PID VI will always be 0 for the first iteration. You can, however, use the advanced PID VI and set up the first iteration in manual mode. After subsequent iterations, you could then define this automatic mode and there will be a transition smoothly. I think this will give you the desired behavior.

  • Could not find LM238 regulator of tension in Multisim

I am new to Multisim.  I can't find a LM238 voltage regulator in the library under sources power supply voltage regulators.  In fact, I did a general search and could not find anywhere.  What is usually done in a case like this?  My intuition tells me that I wouldn't need to redraw my circuit just because I can't find a component in Multisim.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

We don't have a model for the LM238, but we have a model for the LM138. According to this data sheet, the LM138, the LM238 and the LM338 are identical with the exception of the beaches of operating temperatures. You can place a component LM138 to the master database and use it for the simulationand implementation.

    Hope that helps.

  • Modbus, writing in the registers by PID regulator

    Hello

Can you please help... I'm new here

I try to use a registry read, send the value to a PID vi, then write in a register.

I've attached an example of using a temperature regulator.

I get errors whenever I try to connect using clusters, clusters, etc..

My material and comms are all good, I have values and all gauges reading ok, but it seems I can't work on how to manipulate the data through a vi of PID.

    Your help is very appreciated.

    Thank you

1 rearrange your functions so that your reading of data occurs before your writing of data.  You can do 1 2 3 4.  Right now your code run step 3 before step 1 and impossible to know where should go steps 2 and 4.

    2. your writing log has an entry called registry where your worth is going.  There is an entrance to U16.  Your PID provides a DBL.  You need to read the manual of the device know how to code the PID output floating point number into an integer.  It may be a simple by multiplying by a factor of scale and he rounded to an integer.

    3. your Modbus Read is for several records. You will get a table 1 d of readings, but it will not be 1 element.  You can use the table to Index, and then together with setpoiint wire to feed in the gauge of multi-aiguille.  Since you data will be an integer U16, you may need to perform a scaling to convert an integer in all that but it represents the temperature.

    4. don't forget that you must connect your process in the PID function value.
