  If the problem persists after the installation of recovery is certainly the hardware problem. The strange is that problem with external keyboard too and I'm afraid that any replacement keyboard on the laptop will not solve this.

• Problem game keyboard Alienware 17 - arrow keys and letter keys

  Hey all,.

  So I just bought a new Alienware 17 (had a front M15x) and installed a couple of my fav motocross games.  These games use the arrow keys to direct mixed with some letter for the weight distribution keys in the game.  All other phones including my previous Alienware work very well, but the new Alienware 17 did the strangest thing.

  When I press and hold the forward gas sometimes when I use the key has or D, then all of a sudden there is sometimes a delay by pressing the left arrow key or right and sometimes I have to other unpress keys until it works again.   I just tried to play MX vs ATV Reflex and in this game every time I jump in the air and try to make a whip (hold down the left arrow, arrow to the left and D) the arrow keys don't work at all new until I have press an arrow key in the air and then press D or press D at all.

  I tried an external keyboard and it works fine.

  A that someone already had this problem?

  Sorry for the great response late but believe it or not I have just fixed today!  It is indeed a problem in Windows 8.1. Go to the settings of PC-to-PC and peripherals - mouse and touchpad - Touchpad - change no time limit (Always on) and bingo! :)

  If you use a Wacom tablet, then you are a victim of the Wacom/Illustrator bug. As far as I know there is no solution yet. The only solution is to temporarily use a conventional mouse.

  Hi, I have problem with the arrow keys in the editor. I don't use arrow in the editor to the bottom and select list (list of table fields, for example). Arrow in the result window or navigator to work normally.

• Facing a problem with the keyboard arrow key behavior

  With the left/right arrow key (keyboard) I can move through files/folders in the current line only the browser window. Ideally, when the line is crossed, it must move from ranks (considering I use view of tiles). I use Windows Vista Basic Edition. I can get to the line up and down with the arrow keys up/down, but not with the left/right arrow key. Is this correct behavior? Same thing works fine in Windows 7. Help, please.

• The arrow keys sometimes does not work in text boxes

  I have a recurring issue which is really annoying: my left/right arrows (including CTRL + arrow keys) randomly and occasionally do work not when entering text in some text boxes on some Web sites. This never happens in unformatted text boxes 'simple' (Facebook, search fields, this box very I type in...), but unpredictably longer complexes (WYSIWYG editors, new comments youtube...).

  If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

  You can do it yourself; It is not too terrible a task to accomplish.

  Here is the Service Manual for your computer and page 50 are the instructions to remove the keyboard.  To actually get the keyboard itself you can contact HP support at 1-800-474-6836 if you reside in the United States or to the Canada or click on this link and select your location, and the number is provided for you.

  Now if you feel comfortable, the HP support service can provide you with a quote to get the keyboard replaced directly through them so that the option is still possible.

  Someone had this problem? The arrow keys on my keyboard do not work when I play flash games. Have downloaded the latest version of adobe, but not luck. Is it sounds like a hardware problem? What is the best way to thing to work around this problem?

  For me it has nothing to do with a malfunction of the equipment. If you can use the arrow keys in Windows or any application there absolutely no problem with the keyboard or something similar.

  Maybe is this result of the issue of the restriction of game control.
