• Get the text of a pdf form to fill in Illustrator layers

  Hi all

  OK, here's the thing. I have some PDF forms with multiple lines and columns and the information in them. I need to take this information and place Illustrator layered on a file. I've seen examples here accomplished that, with Excel files, but is there a way to do it from a PDF form? I use CS6 and Javascript.

  If you are in the export of files and to analyze text manually and forms are conducive to this, you can try to export data to PDF form as xml or .fdf (?) file, those who provide a text of these data document.

• How do I animate my illustrator layers in Flash Professional?

  I imported an illustrator file into flash. I have 300 layers. I'm doing an animation. each of my illustrator layers has a small part of a larger design. I want the animation to play all the layers, one after the other, 'building' design. each layer, while he plays, will remain on the screen. not sure if it is clear. Currently I have a layer in flash with these 300 images/layers from illustrator. NOW, after talking with the support of the conversation, I have each layer on a layer separate from flash, but I'm still not sure #1 how play them as a movie and 2 # how 'building' in the larger picture?

  Any help would be appreciated!
  

  It's about the process. Drawing in Flash tools are quite different and less complex than Illustrator. Some methods are easier to Flash some are easier in Illustrator. For what you want to do, it looks like you could be better off starting in Flash.

  How to do drag and drop separate illustrator adobe illustrator layers in another project? I have a few layers of dozens of illustrator and I wanted to transfer to another illustrator project. Any ideas? Thank you

  
  
  I use cs2 windows 7

  You must have an object on the layer so that it can transfer (at least in my experience). Open the document 1. Create a new document and make sure that paste remembers layers is on. Select all in 1 document, copy and paste in document 2. Then press DELETE to remove the objects from document 1. The structure of the layer will be maintained with one exception. Isn't a layer named layer 1 in the first document that is not the top or bottom layer.

• Illustrator layers are extended at the opening.

  I didn't get much luck Googling, because I am not sure of the terminology appropriate to ask the question.

  When I open a file, one or more layer are opened/expanded in the tab layer on the side of the screen.  I can close the layer, make changes, and save; but when I open it upwards, the layer is always open.

  This does not happen with all the files.  But on files that do not have this, it's always like that.

  Any ideas? It has boring rathe, especially with files more art.

  I wonder why most designers use illustrator to create illustrations in Adobe illustrator, and then exporting and their animation in AE rather than create directly in AE. This way is more profitable and easier.

  There are a lot of tools in Illustrator to create vector illustrations. Illustrator also offers you the advantage of projects laying in layers. 95% of all my work vector for AE is in Illustrator, because it is faster and more effective, better adapted and designed for the illustration. Shape in the AE layers are somewhat clumsy, but if you need convert a layer to HAVE a form you can have access to all the tools of layer shape and effects with a single click. The only time where that I use layers of shape for the design work is when I go specifically for a shape as a Repeater layer effect. Even then, many times the layer will consist firstly in artificial intelligence...

• Expanded 'stuck' Illustrator layers?

  Some of my files HAVE come at a time where the layers are all increased. I if collapse all to work because the list of layers is very long.

  Why does this happen? Bug, or some features I'm inadvertently using? It feels like a corruption of a minor. Questions if I have all the collapse and save the file... next time that I re-open the file, all layer groups all completely extend once again.

• Imported into After Effects layers appear too dark compared to the Illustrator layers

  I designed a website in illustrator and imported the aftereffects layers to animate, but the colors are much darker. Images, Composition and size of the maintaining layer give the same results.

  The blue and the image are extremely dark in comparison. I've never had this problem before, any help will be appreciated.

  As says Mylenium, albeit rather abruptly, CMYK is not a good workspace for the web or video. Work in CMYK mode for printing, if you must, but not for what it is intended for the screen.

• CC Illustrator layers panel

  Hi, I've just updated my illustrator to CC and I am unable to enter my layers panel. He shows up and says how many layers there are but I can not understand how to actually go in and edit the layers. I feel that it's probably a simple solution but I can't understand what is wrong! • Question of artboard Illustrator

  Everything I do on the 1st Board art is done automatically on the Board of art 2. So when I change the opacity of the brown background on 1 change 2 as well. Even when I lock the background. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or I have a setting on or off or what. I need to create duplicate or additional layers for Board art 2?

  are you lock/change opacity of the layers? the layers are independent of work plans; lock layer 1 1 work plan, it is also locked on the artboard 2.

• Unit settings do not seem to affect the artboard (Illustrator CS6)

  I'm trying to resize the artboard, then this will be an exact size in pixels. However when I use the tool of work plan, the context toolbar will show me the size in mm. I went to preference > units > General and it seems to be configured to display pixels, it doesn't seem to affect the action of the artboard.

  Any tips?

  CTRL click rules and pixels, for a reason any who likes better.  (If on PC click right insterad of ctrl-click).

  If you are already in Pixels, move on to any unit, then back to Pixels. (this reliable corrects the transform palette so can also help here)

  I searched but did not find anything (sorry if this has already been explained).

  I'm using CS5 and noticed that all my layers expand whenever I open a file.  Not sure if there is a setting to keep available for the layer when save or open a file.

  Choose "Paste remembers Layers" in the menu of the layer panel.

  Does anyone know in AI CS4 how to export layers to separate the .ai files? Or third-party plug-ins to do the same thing? Preference, retaining the name of the layer to the new file name.

  I have a file .ai laminates with 40 layers of versions of logo that I need to export separate files and I would avoid the obvious "save under" and delete layers road.

  Try this. Cut and paste into a text editor and save it in a text file with the .jsx extension. You can either place them in your AICS4 > Presets > Scripts folder and restart AI or run all from file > Scripts > other Scripts.

• Extend the 'footage' imported PSD layers

  I imported a layered Photoshop file into After Effects as a model in layers with several layers of "footage".psd:

  

  I have created and edited the comps in the 20 main comp with animations and effects. Now, I need to extend the .psd layers (all 7 s ~) to the length of the main comp(20s).

  I tried dragging to extend their regions and right click > time > enable time Remapping(this allows me to extend the region with keyframes, but the content still ends proportionally short of the containing comp duration).

  When I right click on the layer of .psd and click on 'Open Source layer', the preview displays the duration of the layer extending at once as it shows in the timeline(~7s)...

  

  but green "render bar" only goes to 5s. And no content is visible while the playhead is at 6s, below...

  

  This is also when I drag the playhead in the timeline main comp - layers with this problem disappear to 5s, even if their areas extend to 7s.

  1. I need to get these parts of layer to increase the length of my 20 years comp.

  2 it seems that the source of the layer is 5 s when I "Open Source layer", then even if the region is currently being extended to 7 s ~, 'content' only goes to 5s.

  How can I extend it to 20 seconds without doing all my images keys/animations/effects all over again?

  Or is there a way to re - import only the layers to lasting longer, but keep all my keys/animations/effects images.

  Using the latest Photoshop CC 2015.5 v2015.3 & after effects CC.

  You can also freeze your layers in After Effects and make more time
