artist and song to view with windows media player 11 for cd burning

I have roxio for burning CDs but it is gone. The only reason why I used roxio on windows media player that was when I burned a cd of the song and the artist would look on my car radio when read. Windows Media player does not. All this shows is channel 1 and so on. Why? Is there something I can do to get the WMP for the artist and the song appears on my car player after burning or I buy an another Roxio? Thanx.

Hello

Why don't you click on these links and check if that helps.

If this is not enough, you can go ahead and reinstall Roxio on the machine.

  • Problem with Windows Media Player 11 for Windows Vista Home editions

I had serious problems lately.  I don't know if it's the media player itself or if it is drive E.  I'm starting to copy a CD, and it will burn the first songs of 5 or 6.  Then he will analyze the next song, and an error is displayed.  It will do for the rest of the railway.  I took 4 or 5 Cd because of this.  I hope someone can help me with that. I did all the updates, but when it will install, it says not compatible with the currently running system.  I double checked that I use Media Player 11.0.6002.18005.  Can someone tell what I'm doing wrong...

    Hi leecee74,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft answers Community Forums.

In addition to trying the new CD drive, you also try to click with the right button on the CD player in the computer. Click the record check the 'enable CD writing on this peripheral area '. If it is already done, uncheck the box, apply settings, then re check the box and click OK.

    It will be useful.

I am trying to sync my ipod with my windows media player and when I connect my ipod windows media play is not read. How can I sync my ipod with windows media player?

    Hello

Your MP3 player should have 2 settings - MSC that should allow the player to be used as a
external drive and PSG that is the parameter to use to sync with WMP11. Remove the MP3
and restart the computer. Change the MP3 in MTP mode - it power off and plug it in.

I had the same problem and then by chance, I tried a video on YouTube and it worked for me. Here's how I went on this issue and solved my problem:

    1. go to the computer, then OS (C).
    2. you will need to open Program Files (x 86) and Program Files.
    3. go to Windows Media Player in Program Files (x 86) and open the folder.  Then, remove the wmplayer file.  You may need to work around the error TrustedInstaller.  I'll tell you that, in a moment.
    4. in Program Files, go to the same folder for Windows Media Player and select the same file again. Wmplayer.  Copy the file in another window open.  Copy ensures that if the question comes up again you can at least try to fix it again.
This should be the end of your problem.  If you need to circumvent the TrustedInstaller question is how:
    1. right click on wmplayer and select Properties > Security > advanced > owner > Edit > other users and groups.
    2. Enter your username and then click on check names.  Click OK.
    3. close the dialog boxes as he has requested.
    4. open again the properties and click Security.  Select your username from the list and click on edit.  From there, select full control.
This should give you full control over the removal of the original file for WMP and easily allow you to copy the other files (x 86) programs.
Please let me know how it goes for your problem.

    Hi Ryan,

You can try to reset the DRM licenses and check if the problem persists.
