  The file without a favorite has been created using Microsoft's PDF creation utility. (File > save as > PDF)

  The file with bookmarks was created with Adobe PDFMaker for Word. (File > save as Adobe PDF, or by using the Ribbon of PDFMaker.)

  Looks like you are using the toolbar icon that opens the bookmarks in the sidebar and not button Menu bookmarks with the drop marker that opens the menu drop down.

  Something went this afternoon and when I started Firefox all my favorites have disappeared. I reinstalled Firefox and recovered my favorites. My bar on the top of the browser's back, and when I click on the bookmark icon, it shows all my favorites. However, if I click on show all bookmarks (ctrl-shift-B), none of my favorites appear. I have attached a screenshot to show what I see, but it seems that there is a corruption somewhere.

  Right click on this icon of the Pocket and select remove from the toolbar. Then restart Firefox and see if the bookmarks icon again.

  The Tiny Menu extension is no longer supported by the developer, so IMO, it would be preferable not to use this extension.
  Are you aware that the Menu bar can be temporarily revealed quite easily by pressing the Alt key? Hide the Menu bar, not the toolbar Navigation.

  And if you want to use the cropped Compact Menu 2 , the usual extension would be replaced by a vertical 'menu' when you press the ALT - see the screenshot - which has the same menu as the Menu bar, but vertical. • Cannot find phone icon you're looking for favorite bookmarks right upper page under min. / max. was located between the icon of the homepage & download in progress icon.
