  I'm looking for this move to 2 GB. I could not find a service manual for this netbook.

  Can someone point me in the right direction?

  I've seen some posts saying that the upgrade of ram D270 was deemed not user replaceable. Although Acer may have tried not user replaceable; It is altogether. It was so easy. I went on the standard of 1 GB of Ram for a 2 GB key in about 10 minutes.

  I intend to improve my RAM to 3 GB to 8 GB on Acer Aspire TimelineX 5830TG.

  I intend to use 4 GB DDR3 1600 Mhz Laptop Ram CL11 PC3-12800 1600 MHz on the two slots.
  I wanted to know if this laptop supports this RAM which is a frequency of 1600 Mhz.

  After my research, I found that acer supports maximum 8 GB 1333 Mhz RAM, which is 4 GB / slot for my laptop (5830TG).

  Please note the points below.

  1 Max RAM memory supported by "Intel Core i5 2410 M' 16 GB is only acer only recommeds and supports 8 GB RAM

  2. the HM65 Express Chipset supports 16 GB of RAM but acer only recommends and supports 8 GB RAM

  3. the frequency max RAM supported by acer 1333 Mhz, 1600 MHz only is not supported since the BIOS does not allow to use as a guy mentioned in a forum. If you want to use 1600 MHz RAM then you need Flash the BIOS that is not the right thing, because there are problems of heat and laptop could stop working and it is in any case not tested and certified by acer.

  This applies to anyone whose laptop computer contains "Intel HM65 Express Chipset' motherboard and processor 'Intel Core - i5 2410 M'.

  I write so that it will be a reference for me and people like me who are looking to upgrade their RAM.

  I plan to buy "Crucial 8 GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3 FSB 1333 (PC3-10600) CL9 SODIMM 204-pin Notebook Memory Modules 1.5V. I will update my experience with this RAM after that some 4 to 6 months so if any of you are planning to upgrade can probably treat this as a starting reference.

I want to move the RAM to 2 GB. Former model, then tried to keep the cheap. I see 200 pin DDR2 667 MHz PC2-5300 SODIMM as given common spec as far as RAM goes. Even through different products of PC. Is this all I get? That the annex-2588 or - 2Db question of difference in the review of correct choice? Thanks for your help!

  I have an Aspire One Touch and I would like to update beyond 4 GB RAM and if possible see if I can add a video card discreet, even though I'm pretty sure that I can not add a video card (let me dream!) How could I go to adding RAM to my computer specific and which cards RAM are recommended? I don't mind paying extra if I need to. If I can spend 8 or even 16 GB of RAM, it would be so wonderful.   I just found out missed me an update of the driver when I was in the Device Manager and once I updated (obviously no has not updated the correct driver at the start) my wifi does not work.

• Acer Aspire One D255 - upgrade memory - I was told I could be upgraded to 2GB. A DDR3 4 GB will work?

  Went to the store to pick up a 2 GB and they were all, but the sales guy gave me a 4 GB DDR3.  The Geeks were all busy, and I had no time to wait, so I brought home and decided to research.  I find nothing on a 4GB for this model.  No one knows if it will make a difference.  They are apparently the same size. Now, I have windows 10 on mine and have need of more memory.

  Subject of memory, I gave you the links for Aspire One D150 (light green). It is the same for all models.

  Only one DIMM connector---> 2 GB max.

  On Windows 7, check out this video (AOD150 - Windows 7-32 bit). It works fine, but it won't be "a race car!

  You can watch this video. The AOD250 have the same specifications as (same motherboard with Intel Atom N270 processor).

  I suggest you to upgrade the memory to 2 GB:

  Already, it has 1 GB in there and works very well. However when I put this module, it simply won't start.

  When I opened my Aspire One it says: "Acer Explorer beyond the limits" and then the screen becomes dark gray, if I move the mouse the white arrow appears and moves but that's it. If I leave the computer for a while, the screen goes black if I move the mouse it dark gray turnes again and the arrow.
