  Contact the manufacturer of your computer.  The product key on your computer has nothing to do with Office applications.

  If the manufacturer of your computer or the repair guy can not or will provide you with support of desktop replacement, you will need to either buy Office or install Open Office (which is compatible with Microsoft Office, but not the same thing):http://www.openoffice.org/

  I had a problem with users to open Word and Excel (.doc and .xls) files through an instance of ThinApped IE6 on Windows 7. We use IE6 to allow users access to our legacy Oracle instance. This instance uses Jinitiator 11.8.16 as it is custom Java applet. I have configured the Package.ini contains the following lines for access to host applications that I want to use:

  What happens when a user attempts to open a Word doc is, a new IE6 window flashes open then close, never showing the user the document. They can do a CTRL + left click on the document to bring up the options menu. Will they save the file and open it from their desktop, it works very well. If they try to select open, the same as mentioned above occurs.

  I use ThinApp 4.7.2 to create virtual applications to IE6, and we are currently migrating our users Windows 7 SP1 of XP. We have Office 2010 SP1 installed on all workstations. We still have XP systems in use and they are not affected by this problem, everything works fine for them.

• Cannot run any application system as anything in the administration tools, network and sharing Center, Device Manager. No problem running the applications Office, IE, etc.

  Vista Ultimate, 32-bit, SP2 had worked perfectly for two months. Machine set up to now and when started the first time, no network connection and my video wallpaper stops with an error message that says to reboot. The 2nd restart, I get internet connectivity, no wallpaper at all and no access to system applications that are listed in the title line.

  I can open Documents and navigate around, click computer and see the disks, etc., right click on computer and view the properties, but it shows no RAM and processor. If I click on Device Manager on this window, it crashes just forever unless I have kill with Task Manager.

  I had Windows Live Onecare on this machine and it expired during the period, it was closed. No problem... I plan to install MSE.

  Originally, I installed a smaller version of Vista of CD (still have it) but upgraded to Ultimate online and is not a product for this upgrade CD.

  I need to know where to start on fixing Vista so that it works correctly.

  It is better that you have the Vista Ultimate DVD, so I suggest you ask the DVD from the dealer.

  Problem solved: If you google HP and office 2013 gel {many people have had the same problem with the HP drivers}

  Cause: the freeze is due to the printer notification window.

  Solution: When you go to print & the notifications window appears in the lower right of the screen, click settings and uncheck the ACTIVE BOX.

  I recently did a clean installation of XP Pro to Vista.   On the startup of Vista, I can use all applications without problem.  However, after leaving the computer for a while (screensaver starts), then come back, I found that all text typed in just as pests, with the exception of IE 8.  Just a touch (for example K) and now supported will generate a string of the QWERTY sequence.  Have tried closing and opening applications, without success.   The only solution is to re - start the computer and it's all good again.    Any ideas?  If anyone has an answer, or knows where the answer is, would be greatly appreciated!    I am interested in the Vista of dumping and the upgrade after Windows 7, this would solve the problem?

  Looks like I have the answer. Go to office.com/getoffice, find students host 2013 &, select it by download, enter the product key on the sticker on the first page of the booklet 5 "square DO NOT JETER, download install and run. Then look at the progress window give you an apology back-handed "Sorry, looks like you are on a slow connection, so it may take some time." And I thought about 10 Mbps has been pretty good. Then you will have to enter your key product again (do not try to save it by logging into your MS account - click on the small print under the password field to open the form for the key). Fact.

  You receive this error Windows Installer error 1723 when installing a program. Installation can be terminated prematurely, or there may be a fatal error during installation. Windows Installer error 1723 occurs because Windows Installer cannot start the source files for the configuration of the software application you are trying to install. These files may be missing or damaged. In general, the original MSI installation files will be cached in the ' C: winntInstaller directory before installation begins. Inappropriate caching of a file MSI is main causes of errors, too.

  First of all, check if the Windows Installer service is started in the Services.

  1. click on start.
  2 type Service to start the search.
  3. Locate the Windows Installer Service in the Services window.
  4. make sure that the service is started, if it is to restart the service and check.

  Now try to install Microsoft Office and check.

  If you are unable to install, then I suggest that you uninstall all files related to Microsoft Office 2003 by using Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.
