  What happens, is that you run the firmware of the Wifi chip which has a built in "automatic adjustment IP subnet conflict." This function only checks the first three digits of the IP subnet and don't know the subnet mask. He solving what he thinks is a conflict of IP subnet by changing the LAN subnet on you.

  I don't think that the EA2700 can be used for this network configuration. You can try to disable the NAT. Perhaps, which will disable the automatic setting function.

When I try to assign an IP address by default VLAN 1, it displays an error 'failed to remove management VLAN - ID ".  These predisposees are already preconfigured with the IP address 192.168.0.1 for VLAN 1. I would like to delete this IP address and assign one in the range 10.10.1.x for VLAN 1. But this is NOT possible.

BDC server has two network interfaces, only the one which is registered in sqlnet.ora remote database. How do I apply Oracle to use only this network (i.e. one IP addresses possible) interfaces when connection to the remote database?

  Oracle will just obey the rules of routing in place on the server and use the ip address that would allow him to get there. Netowrking will use the default gateway defined on the server, unless there is a routing rule expicit saying to use another interface.

  My printer (HP7210) is wired connected to my WRT54GL router. 2 computers also have a wired connection, my laptop is connected wireless. All of these computers use the connected printer. 2 computers can only use a static IP address for the printer. How can I set a static IP in my router?

  I don't think that the WRT54GL supports static IP with the stock Linksys firmware.

  The solution is to assign the static IP address to the printer. Most of the printers on network supports the definition of a static IP address manually. The key is to set the static IP address on the printer out of the range the WRT54GL uses for its DHCP server. Sign in to the administration page of your router and see what addresses the range of IP addresses he uses to hand over the IP address of the client. Usually, Linksys likes to start xxx.xxx.xxx.100 and have leases of 50 to 100 a cancelled so to avoid conflict, you can use any IP in the range of xxx.xxx.xxx.002 through xxx.xxx.xxx.099, or through xxx.xxx.xxx.254 xxx.xxx.xxx.201.   Hello everyone, I have a WRT54G v4 (FW 4.21.1) router wireless and I am trying to configure to assign static IP addresses to my devices.  I have two wired devices, and seven wireless devices and IP addresses are constantly evolving. This is normally no big deal, one of the wired devices is my printer (connected via a cable etherner). The only way I can install this printer to devices is to a standard TCP/IP installation, using the IP address assigned automatically. My question is, can I assign one address of the printer so that I can install it on the rest of devices with an address? Or do I have to assign an address to each machine? And how even statically assign? I know how to connect on the router and am familiar with the integrated navigation page, but I do not see a table of MAC addresses anywhere. I have the latest firmware as well. Thank you in advance for the answers!

  The WRT54G does not support a DHCP reservation. You set a static IP address on the printer. I have not heard a network printer on which you cannot set a static IP address...

  I would say to restore the printer back to factory settings. HP LaserJet Pro P1566 and P1606dn - default settings factory restore printers.

  Then, the router must assign a new IP address to the printer and you should then be able to again access the server built-in Web printer.

  If the router assigns the printer IP address automatically, temporarily connect the printer to the computer using the Ethernet cable and ad hoc of the printer. This will give you an IP address so you can access the printer built-in Web server, and then you can configure the IP address again through your network.

  I recently inherited a Dell PowerConnect 6248, which I am not familiar with, and I'm trying to use it as a switch Layer 3.

  I have a 10 of VLAN with a network 10.10.10.0/24 and 11 VLAN with an associated network of 10.10.11.0/24.

  The VLAN, routes and extended DHCP appear to be properly set up everywhere. Yet once, when customers use statically assigned addresses their VLANs and adequate networks, traffic is routed normally.   Looks like you're real close how it works, we just miss something in the configuration.

  When you configure the port for VLAN 11, which command do you run? Once it is configured for that VLAN, we can confirm that by simply running a show on this interface command.

  It may be useful to see the configuration running on the whole, this will help us to look for any possible changes, we can offer you.

  I found that I can not configure the static IP address for Cisco Touch on TC7.0.1 / 7.0.2 with the procedure described below.

  1. upgrade a codec (e.g. SX20 TC6.3 or less) and a touch paired with the codec for TC7.0.2.

  2. after the upgrade, désapparier (with the help of désapparier Touch button) touch and it reboot.

  3. tap on "IP settings."

  4. Select "Manual IP allocation".

  5. Enter the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, and then press "Save".

  Even though we have configured the static IP address with the above procedure, IP allocation remains 'Auto' (= DHCP) and the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway is also empty.

  In this situation, the only way to configure the IP address for the Touch is to use the DHCP server.

  It is a known problem in TC7.0.1 and TC7.0.2. The id of the bug is CSCum82147.

  To work around the problem, set IP address you want the button before moving on to TC7.0.x.

  The bug has been fixed and will be included in the next version of the TC software.
